I own a Blackberry Curve 8520 and I would like to restore the phone data to original settings when I purchased it, sadly I didnt back up the data in any file so my question is if there is any original ipd file available that I could use to restore to original settings.

I updated my Bold 9900 last night and was restoring settings but something happened and the program froze. Now the desktop software is not recognizing the bakcup file. Is there anything I can do?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI went to the Verizon place a couple of days ago to see if they could get my phone to stop freezing and running slow. Well they accidentally deleted over half my pictures and my phone is the only place I have those pictures. Well luckily, I thought, I have a backup file and my pictures will be on there. But whenever I try to run it I get the error "data not recognized by desktop!" Some of these pictures are really really important to me and I want them back. Is there anything I can do to make the backup file work? Will it even contain the pictures? I have a blackberry storm and the verizon place said I have the most updated software.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI am trying to sync my BB with my desktop software. I was advised the only way i could get music on my BB was to take the memory card out the phone use an adapter to put music on then put the memory card back in BB.
Surely when i connect my BB to my laptop with the desktop software on it, i should be able to see the music and pictures that are on my phone, or should i not??
I have gone into the options menu on the screen and had a look at my memory, and it is telling me "Media Card cannot be read. Verify that the memory card is properly inserted, formatted and not corrupted".
I have also made sure that Mass Storage support is on, along with Media Card Support, but i still cant see anything.
i have a blackberry 8520 curve. I recently upgraded the bbm version to 6.0.Earlier whenever i used to send the picture file of large size (about 1-2 mb), bbm used to give an option to select the resolution & size of the file to be sent.But after the upgrade it automatically compresses the file (for eg from 2.5 mb file to 60kb) & sends it across.how can i get the option of resolutions & size before sending the picture file.

I have a iphone 3gs 3.1.2 MC model that was jailbroken via tethered blackra1n. The problem is now when i try to restore to original firmware the phone resets and gets to that itunes connect screen (which is probably caused by blackra1n tethered jailbreak). The only way i can get out of that screen is to rejailbreak by blackrain because itunes will only allow me the option of restoring and updating to 3.1.3 which will screw me over for a unlock .How can i restore my firmware to a clean 3.1.2 without dealing with the connect to itunes freeze and not upgrading to 3.1.3?

I'm just using the Micro SD card (2gb) that came with my Curve 8530. And as I sync my playlists through iTunes and download apps, obviously it is beginning to get quite full, and I'm actually almost entirely out of space.
How do I transfer what is currently saved on this card and put it onto the new card so that I don't lose any info?
Also, these cards are soooo over priced at Best Buy and other brick and mortar stores.. so if I am in the market for a larger card (probably a 16gb one), where would you guys recommend picking one up at?
