I am using Blackberryr 9300. I bought it last month and it was working fine. From past week incorrect information is displayed on all incoming calls(Eg : for every caller it would show up the last dialled call details, sometimes it just displays few digits etc).

I input all of my phone numbers in Outlook in the following format: (XXX) XXX-XXXX, but when I receive an incoming phone call on the home screen the numbers appear as XXXXXXXXXX (name is correct). When I look on the call log, they appear correctly and when I check my address book in the device, they appear correctly.I only sync one way - from Outlook to the Device. How do I get them to appear in the correct 10 digit phone number format with parentheses and hyphen?I had another Bold before this and had no issues with this at all. I am wondering if I need to use the Backup and Restore feature in the DTM to delete the address book completely and start again.

And then if i try to check the call history, it doesn't show up, instead it shows all the contacts from address book. I'm getting this problem quite frequently now, like 2-3 times a day and need to reboot the device in order to see my call history.

When I look afterwards in the received calls call history, the name is there again.It is not all the time, one hour later the name might be mentioned again. However, I'm noticing that for incoming texts and calls, it shows that the time received is 4 hours behind from when I've actually received it. The time on my phone is set and the time on outgoing texts and call are fine but incoming texts and calls are inaccurate. Is there any way to fix this?I live in Vancouver BC, Canada and my friend got this phone for me in Hong Kong. Does that affect anything.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter certain time in the phone all incoming calls show the same number in caller ID.The number that is shown will be the last call received before the problem starts.The call log shows the correct number but when call is received the same number is shown.This continues till the phone is reset. But it reverts back to the same issue after some time.I thought this was a problem with the phone and changed Handset and SIM card also, but still the problem came back after a couple of months. My service provider is not able to help me. I tried updating the software in the old phone but still the problem was there.This is driving me crazy since there are many calls I dont want to attend.
View 4 Replies View RelatedOk I have a new problem which I think was caused by me accidentally deleting my email live tile I could not find how to replace the tile it was only tonight that I realised that it was listed as linked inbox!
anyway the only way I could see to replace the tile was to remove and add my email accounts.
Now when I get a call I get the incoming number but not the name and if I look in the call history there is just the number, when I look later it has the name displayed.
Why the names are not being displayed, I am tempted to do a full reset but my 920 bricked when I did it and it is not back from repair yet so I am scarred to do it on my 1020.
I've noticed the the device memory bar on the storage scene in settings is displaying the wrong information. The bar shows i have used 3/4 of my internal memory, mainly as app. However the amount shown as available on the same screen shows 9.3MB. Also in device facts (under the diagnostics menu ) it shows that i have only used 2.3GB. I think the problem comes from my use of the sd storage feature on google music. The music files are definitely saved on the sd card. The phone seems to recognise this itis just this status bar that is misreading the information. Or should i just ignore it?

I'm regularly seeing the incorrect time displayed when I wake the device to check the time. I completely understand not rendering an updated clock when the screen is disabled, but this needs to occur instantly when the display is awakened. Currently the lag can be around 10/15 seconds (I've not measured precisely, but I can wake the screen by shaking at least 3 times and let it blank again before an update).

My incoming calls used to show this perfectly clear contact picture and name when I got a call, now the picture is all blurry or something.
I think some of it may be all the new options there are now at the bottom of the call screen. It looks like the photos are stretched or someting.
When I receive incoming call, sometimes the contact name is displayed and sometimes not. After the call is over, the contact name is mentioned in call log list.
