So, my BB had froze while it was loading as I was sending a text, so i took the battery out to restart it. Now, it stays on the same screen as it's loading up. It stops at a certain point and won't continue. I've change the battery several times and it still does the same thing.
View 1 RepliesPhone needed a battery pull last night as it froze in the middle of sending a picture message. This happens a LOT I'm afraid. Typically, it boots right up, loads the software, my screen comes up, my icons come back and I'm in business. I am stuck in a boot loop it seems. The BB logo comes up, the bar loads about 2/3 of the way, then the red light comes on and it shuts off. Phone starts back up and does the same thing over and over and over. It also won't turn off (unless I just pull the batter out, but when replaced, the same thing keeps happening). I can't load the OS again through the BB Desktop Manager because the process is halted each time the phone turns itself off again.

I left my phone open on a text message and when I returned to it a while later it had frozen. I tried to use some of the buttons to return to the home screen but nothing happened. I turned it off and then back on again but the screen came up white with a reset error message. I turned it off again and it won't turn on at all. The red light is just flashing. I am unable to connect the device to my computer.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had a lot of issues with the N97 and on the dawn or ordering a replacement, this happened: The phone froze whilst trying to send a message, so I turned it off and back on. The message was still in the Outgoing box and did send after all, however, all messages in the Inbox, the Sent box, personal folders, etc. have all disappeared!
Now, my phone stored a lot of business messages with important information as well as many personal messages with a lot of emotional attachment. No other data disappeared, contacts and calendar entries are all there!
why is the same text sending 2x to the same person? how do I fix this? Curve 9360
View 1 Replies View RelatedFew of my family have blackberry's and a lot of the time bbms or texts don't send and if they do send they get it about half hour or so later but if I message someone else who doesn't have a blackberry they get the messages straight away so it's more of a blackberry to blackberry problem I think.

View 5 Replies View RelatedJust upgraded from Curve 8520 to Curve 9360, and I'm a little disappointed at the moment. Firstly, the battery doesn't last half as long, and secondly, its sending duplicate text in an email.
E.g.:
I send an email saying : Hi, how are you?.
What it really sends is : Hi, how are you? Hi, how are you? </div>
When I'm either reading an email or sending a text my Curve will freeze and to clear it I have to shut it off. What gives?

I have one person that has an iphone and she can never receive a photo from me but yet she can send them fine. I just had someone send me a photo just now and I was trying to forward it to everyone on my contact list and it would not send it. Very frustrating. I never had this problem on my other phones.

However, she has the correct number in her contact list and has also tried to reply to a received text from the friend but gets the same message. I have the same number in my BB Bold 9700 and she is able to send messages successfully from my phone. She has also re-saved the number of her contact but still no luck. This is the only number she has problems with.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had a few problems with my Nokia E51. I got the phone from my uncle who didn't like it after initially buying it. He bought it for O2 but I'm with Vodafone.
Anyways I got the phone unlocked and put my vodafone sim in and it worked fine. I changed the settings around on wap as well so it goes to vodafones homepage instead of o2's and it was working grand.
Then problems started with it. Firstly, I received a text one day and when i went to open it the phone just froze. It wouldnt let me look at the text and every button i pressed didnt do anything. The screen just stayed the same.
I tried turning off and on and taking battery out but everytime i turned it back on the text would appear 'one new text message' and the phone would still be frozen.
After a few months I tried the phone again and it was working fine. I had it for about a week again but then another problem surfaced. I looked at the phone randomly and the screen was flicking between differents screens. It was as if i was pressing loads of buttons but i wasnt pressing any! It was just flicking between screens really fast. I turned it off and back on, then battery out but kept doing the same when i turned it back on.
I left it for a month again and last night I tried turning it on and its working fine again. I know its gonna start up again though so I wondered if there's something I can do while it's working to stop it from breaking again. Is there a virus in the phone or something or is it just a bad batch?
i was updating my blackberry last night, and its still on 7% which its moving of that. it wont let me do anything on my phone, ive tried taking the battery out and thats not done anything thats just put it back to 7% again. i need my blackberry for tomorrow so does anyone know how to solve this problem?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Curve 9360. i invoked a software upgrade on my phone and it has been frozen for the past 36 hours on the Backup screen. It keeps getting to the Overall Backup progress of 9% and stopping(Social Feeds). I've tried connecting it to the desktop manager but it does see it as being connected. I've tried taking battery out to reset, I've even followed instructions and tried to safe boot by restarting and holding escape key. But all this has not done anything it just goes back to backup screen and freezes at 9%.

Has said this now for 11 hrs. We can't do anything with the phone, it wont go off this screen.
