Jun 15, 2011i got the phone from a friend at work and i took it to sprint and it was reset and everything, but i still get emails from the last persons email, and it sends emails as that too.

HTC :: Touch Pro 2 1 New Email Sign Won't Go Away
Jan 12, 2010for some reason i have this new email that is no existent. Ive been through my email accounts and check every message. I do not have any new messages availbe, however on my touch flo menu it continues to have a (1) new message shown. Has any had this problem and solved it or anyone know how to solve it?

I'm 100% sure that the entered username and password are correct (they work from Opera mini on the phone and other phones and PCs work fine and in the mail application, I can see that they have been entered correctly).

I am trying to set up my email using POP. the problem is in "login information" my username suppose to be "abc@blabla.com" but it only appear as "abc" thus my blackberry is unable to sign in to the email that i want to set up; and i cannot edit this area because it is set automatically by my device. Before i used Curve 8310 with v4.5 i can sucessfully create similar account becuase the login appear to be "xyz@blabla.com" instead of just "xyz" in username space. I hope you can undestand my problem,

I have checked that app store is signed in to my current email address, it is, but as soon as I click Update it asks for the password to an old email address. Feb 19, 2010My wife accidently going through her contacts went to the very top where there's a drop down menu for Phone or Contacts. It went to Contacts. Now whenever she goes to her contacts a message pops up saying Sign In or Sign Up to OVI. She's been on the phone now with Nokia for 2 hours trying to resolve.Anyone out there have any ideas?
And by the way, are other brands of phones this bad, what with setting up loops like this can't be broken. Or, like what I've read here and elsewhere, all the problems with the Lock Code? I mean, it seems Nokia needs to go back to the drawing board and work on their user interface.

Sep 22, 2012I can't turn my phone on.For the last week, every time I plugged the charger in, the screen would go white, and then a battery with a red cross through would show up.If I removed and replaced the battery several times then eventually it would reboot, I took to a phone shop yesterday and they unscrewed the phone and re-screwed it together again, and the battery sign didn't appear again and appeared to be working fine again.However, last night I attempted to charge the phone again, and the battery sign appeared again and now will not go off. The phone is completely useless. I've tried a new battery, with no luck. What should I do?

Aug 22, 2012my 8520 stopped working around a month and a half ago maybe a little longer, it wouldnt charge when plugged into the charger, i tried a veriety of different things to see if it worked but nothing did, i have now bought a new battery for my 8520, before putting the new battery in, i decided to try and turn my phone on with my old battery in it, but had no luck. so i took my old battery out and placed my new one in and the red light came on in the top right corner, it then came up with a charging sign on the screen then a red cross appeared ontop of it, a loading bar then came on underneath it and it grew longer very slowly, so i thought i'd leave it to see if it needed time to charge and load, when i came ack to have a look at it after about 15 mins it looked exactly the same so i then tried turning my phone on/off bye pressing the red end call button, when i did that the battery with the red cross through went off the screen and then the word 'blackberry' in white writing appeared as if it was then being switeched on and then the little loading sign came on underneath, shortly after that it just went back

May 17, 2012In my thread of "application installation issues", it seems to be determined that my carrier who I got the phone from, is blocking the install of applications as I get a 910 error, application authorization failure, when i try to install an application from: [URL]. After some searching, I've come across BBSAK, which I use to wipe the phone and reload the oS. I've also come across the tool "vendelete" which deletes the vendor.xml files.
So I do the following:
1. Uninstall the original carrier OS from pc.
2. Install OS from different carrier to pc.
3. Use vendelete to get rid of the xml files which it says no xml files were found.
4. Use bbsak to wipe the oS.
5. Reload the OS.
But when the phone boots up, it still shows the sign of the carrier which I don't want, so I presume nothing has been updated? since when I try to install the application again, I still get the 910 error.

Apr 9, 2012My wife has a curve 8520. when she tries to use the browser to sign in to yahoo email she fills in her userid and password but the sign in button dosn't work, nothing happens when she clicks it does she have to enable something in the browser configuration? she doesn't have a Blackberry data plan as yet so we realise she can't use BBM or facebook app etc but I would have thought the browser should work as she has an internet plan.
