i hav a black berry curve. i subscribed to mtn nigeria, the services has been activated bt the EDGE sign doesnt show on my phne but as soon as my sim is placed in a diffrent phne the 3g sign appears.

I am always leaving it on and forgetting that it is on. The notification screen shows whether or not Wi-Fi and/or 3G is active, but not Bluetooth. Is there a setting I can tweak to add Bluetooth notification to the notification bar or the desktop? Is there an app for this if Settings won't do it?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia C-7 and i recently upgraded its software. Well, the phone has been working great but whenever i go to the Ovi Store, it won't let me sign in! No matter how many times i tap the sign-in button on the screen, its hopeless. I kept uninstalling it, then reinstalling it over and over. Turning off my phone and back on didnt do the job.

My phone has been off for the past 5 days and wen i switched it on this morning it would not switch on. I've removed the battery, put it back in and it still wont switch on. All it show is a dead battery sign. I've been charging it for the past 4 hours and it still shows the same sign. A red flashing light keeps goin on and off and i dont know what that indicates. Do i need a new battery or the phone has a fault?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using Galaxy S6 Edge. Issue started happening two days ago. Even when there are no new messages the WhatsApp icon shows "1" suggesting there is one unread message.
Also even though there are multiple unread messages it still shows "1" in the icon.
Tried clearing cache and force restarting the app and still doesn't work.

my old nokia n8, I could choose to receive notification that only showed the contacts name and let me know I had a message from them. Is this possible on the s6? I do not want the message preview on my screen so that everyone can see the message. I just want the contacts name only.
im using Nokia x2-02 for last one month . after I updated my phone to v 11.63, The contact name is not appearing while im receiving a call it shows only the caller no. There are No duplicate of any contacts available.

I am guessing those photos are maybe from the internet. When I look at my files on my phone and uncheck the hidden files box, I don't see any of these files there either. It displays all my sent messages in my inbox! Not just the ones from within a conversation, but all my sent messages... This is extremely strange. did not have that problem with my Samsung Alpha... I am at lost to understand Probably some simple setting I am missing?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a curve 8330 and the voice activated dialing initializes on its own and loops in 3 second intervals until i do a battery pull. While the VAD is looping I am unable to make or recieve calls, it either disconnects me or mutes the phone and i am unable to unmute it. I removed the VAD all together using a program called MAXMEM, but the phone is still malfunctioning. now when i try to make an outgoing call it attempts to connect me for about 3 seconds then disconnects me. When trying to answer incoming calls it mutes the phone. I cant hear anything and the person calling me cant either. I went into settings and did a factory restore but it did not fix the problem. Is there any way to completely un-install the OS/software and re-install it? Im hoping that that will fix it. i have tried doing it via the BB website but was unable to.

Now whenever she goes to her contacts a message pops up saying Sign In or Sign Up to OVI. She's been on the phone now with Nokia for 2 hours trying to resolve.Anyone out there have any ideas?
And by the way, are other brands of phones this bad, what with setting up loops like this can't be broken. Or, like what I've read here and elsewhere, all the problems with the Lock Code? I mean, it seems Nokia needs to go back to the drawing board and work on their user interface.
