for some reason i have this new email that is no existent. Ive been through my email accounts and check every message. I do not have any new messages availbe, however on my touch flo menu it continues to have a (1) new message shown. Has any had this problem and solved it or anyone know how to solve it?

I'm 100% sure that the entered username and password are correct (they work from Opera mini on the phone and other phones and PCs work fine and in the mail application, I can see that they have been entered correctly).

I am trying to set up my email using POP. the problem is in "login information" my username suppose to be "abc@blabla.com" but it only appear as "abc" thus my blackberry is unable to sign in to the email that i want to set up; and i cannot edit this area because it is set automatically by my device. Before i used Curve 8310 with v4.5 i can sucessfully create similar account becuase the login appear to be "xyz@blabla.com" instead of just "xyz" in username space. I hope you can undestand my problem,

My wife accidently going through her contacts went to the very top where there's a drop down menu for Phone or Contacts. It went to Contacts. Now whenever she goes to her contacts a message pops up saying Sign In or Sign Up to OVI. She's been on the phone now with Nokia for 2 hours trying to resolve.Anyone out there have any ideas?
And by the way, are other brands of phones this bad, what with setting up loops like this can't be broken. Or, like what I've read here and elsewhere, all the problems with the Lock Code? I mean, it seems Nokia needs to go back to the drawing board and work on their user interface.
Does anyone know what address the sign in page takes you too? When i click sign in it comes up with an error "COULD NOT SIGN IN" ."NOKIA OVI SUITE COULD NOT CONNECT TO THE NOKIA ACCOUNT SERVER. View 8 Replies View RelatedI have never used my Touch for anything but talking and texting--never get on the web (grandfathered in on no data plan) so I know NOTHING about email, browsing, etc. What I want to do is keep my current handset if at all possible and NOT go to a smart phone, at least not yet. I will pay the $30 data plan (I know it's silly, etc., but still...). The most important thing I want to do is use my regular email client on the Touch but I'd like to have it as simple as possible and want to be alerted to new emails without having to actually go "online" to check for new email. Is there any way I can change the default email (or whatever you would call the "email" which is a choice under "messaging" on the interior screen) to be my real email address so that I can simplify things?
Am I correct in assuming that if I have to retrieve my email from the internet (on the Touch) I will NOT get any kind of alert to new emails with my phone simply "idle"?I hope this made sense. Rather than going through the hassle and expense of getting a data plan only to find out it won't work for me and then having to stick with a $10 data plan I don't need (am currently grandfathered in with pay as you go data because I had the Touch prior to the required data plans) I am trying to get as much information as possible beforehand.
I have my corporate email set up on E72. The set up was using IMAP option. When I press the right most email key , I see all the emails in the inbox. Could you please explain is this is indeed my mailbox or is it just a link to mailbox ? The reason being everytime I click this key, I get a message stating that the last connect was at so & so time and do I want to connect again. When I connect , it shows connecting to my mailbox and disconnects immediately. I do not see any change to the list of emails shown. Sometimes I do see emails in this screen even though I have deleted those from the mailbox.

During the workout the UI became high latency and almost completely unresponsive. It would take 3 4 presses to the Power Key to get the device to wake up. When device did wake up, the CapTouch UI would not accept any swipe or touch gestures. I finally was able to power the device down hoping for a graceful reset. However I was concerned that I was never going to get to the point of getting to the power down screen. seen this issue on other Android devices and know that there are times when a battery pull is needed due to a deadlock or a process gone haywire.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just bought the new Nokia 5233 phone.Whenever the phone is locked and I set a alarm. There is no way i can stop the alaram other than to reset the alarm manually by alarms-> edit.
There will be two touch buttons that apper on the otuch screen. One to stop and other to snooze the alarm. Even If press them, it wont work. The alaram keeps ringing. I even tried clicking on the green button and the menu botton at the bottom. Still no use. I cant even unlock the phone. Only thing i can do is press the red button at the end, which will snooze the alarm. After this, I have to manually change the alarm time.
The same thing happens even with phone calls. I cannot use the touch button that apper on the touch screen. I have to use the green and red button at the bottom.These problem come into picture only if the phone is locked. Otherwise it works fine.

I bought it on eBay and apparently the warranty is non-transferable so that's void. I have it on Boost so I'm guessing going to Sprint is out of the question also.

My 5800 touch screen is not responding well like any touch screen should. Compared with my friend's phone and he said there is definite problem with touch. Now is this rectifiable? Or better to go for an exchange? I dont trust Nokia Care because my e72 is still with them for some error which they are not explaning properly. Poor customer service.
