Jan 5, 2012I've recently bought new Bold 9900 phone and it is great. But now I have little problem with Blackberry Protect service.When I setup phone first, I have setup Blackberry Protect service as well and it worked fine. But then there comes update of Blackberry Protect to version 1.1.1.50. Since this update was installed, I can't connect to Protect service anymore.Bold wants to do a new setup of Protect service when I launch the App. This looks good, but after "Blackberry ID" screen it freezes at "Connecting to Blackberry Protect" and this status holds there for couple of hours and nothing happens (on 3G and on WIfi also). I have tried to uninstall BB Protect and then reinstall it.

I have tried putting in the password several times but I am unable to login. May 24, 2012I have exceeded the number of attempts to verify my password for blackberry protect .... n now I'm unable to login to my app world n blackberry protect ... also I am unable to edit my blackberry ID due to the login problem .... I have now talked to (seriously) 27 representatives of Rogers, trying to figure this out. I have hard rebooted the phone over 10 times; clean wiped and re-installed the OS; pushed the Register Now button more times then I can count.

Sep 9, 2011I got a Curve 8530 earlier this week with service through Virgin Mobile. Regular phone service is working great, but I still can't connect to email. Further investigation showed that I am not connected to BIS/BES. I have followed the instructions for registering, and have 2 messages in my inbox telling me that I have successfully registered my device. I even took the battery out and put it back in, but nothing works. What can I do to connect?

Jun 28, 2012I have a Blackberry Curve 9360 with OS 7 Bundle version 1555 after upgrading to OS 7 bundle version 2355 am unable to connect to wifi. am able to connect to my house wifi but not my office wifi dont understand what the problem is.
When i switch on my wifi it connect to my wifi completely and withing 3-4 seconds gets disconnected and says " Failed to Assoiciate to the Wireless Network"

Nov 14, 2011I have a wireless network at my work (that is functional and works for my laptop) that I cannot figure out how to connect to with my Blackberry Curve 9300 OS 6.I can find the network, and when it prompts for the password and I enter it, everything appears as though it should work.The WiFi box is checked in "Manage connections" and on my home screen, at the top, above the time, it shows my provider's name and the WiFi network I'm connected to (Koodo - Arnason Lab <--- network name).When I try to use my browser though, I get the following message: "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later.If the problem persists please contact your service provider." I called Koodo and they told me that this sounds like a device problem and that contacting BlackBerry would be my best bet. Is my browser set up to work via WiFi? Or is there something I'm missing about connecting to a WiFi connection?
