Jul 30, 2011I damaged my old phone. It was replaced today.Everything was going well other than the email.I go to set up, select e mail accounts. I get the message saying a new device has been detected. The app show my seven accounts. I select Move Email Accounts and for each one I am asked to enter the password which I do. Each time the app says the password is validate. After entering all seven everything seems toi be OK. No error message. However it just hasn't worked. The e mail is not showing. When I return to setup I am once again asked to go through the same process and get the initial message saying I have a new device.This presently makes the whole phone a waste of time.I have tried entering the e mails as new ones, but this is rejected as they are already on the machine. What can I do about this?

Jul 3, 2012I have set up my Curve 8360 but I cannot adjust the number of rings of the actual phone as I can for other notifiers. I have seen the message in the Blackberry manual that says that this might be controlled by the provider - in this case Vodafone. I have contacted them but they say they have no control over this. They can provide me with a code to extend the time before it goes to voicemail but it does not affect the number of rings. I can amend the volume and I have control over the vibration and LED but I can't change the number of rings from the current 1.

Aug 6, 2010I downloaded a theme OTA and I can't find it anywhere. It said it was for the 8520 OS 4.6, my phone said it was downloaded successfully but it's missing. It shows up on my applications list but not with my themes. I've checked every folder and nook and cranny. I've even restarted my phone. Feb 13, 2010Last night my phone froze. I took the battery out and reset it. I put the batter back in. It turns back on and does the security verifying and then shows the main screen. The issue is that i try to scroll through the applications and it does not respond. I cannot dial numbers or anything. It just stay on the main screen. When I pulled the batter I notice that there is a red line on the white part near the pickups on the battery.

I've looked up on the website and there is no other version of the desktop manager. I've got over 1200 contacts....

Aug 21, 2010I recently received a message telling me that an update was available for App World. I downloaded the update, installed it and rebooted. Now I am unable to download apps. When I hit the download button it takes me to the sign in for BlackBerry ID, then to terms and conditions and then to my ID settings! The only way I can get off this screen is to press Discard, which takes me back to where I started! I just keep going round in circles.

When the Application Loader launches, it only provides me with the option of maintaining my OS and downgrading my OS to the older 4.6.1 version. I have previously used the exact same steps on another Curve 8520 and I had successfully upgraded the OS. After the upgrade was successful on the first phone, only did I try upgrading the second phone. Is there anything I did wrongly the second time around?

I then connected my BB and tried to upgrade but was still unsuccessful.

Aug 17, 2013Currently, when I want to take a picture with my phone and I touch to open the camera app, the screen would turn black, with no image. The only thing that would show is the camera button and the option to go into the camera settings. There's not much within camera settings -- either switch the main or front camera and the photo capture mode (scene, night, HDR, etc.), restore to default, etc.
If I t back out of the camera app and go to the home screen and try to get back into the camera app, it would pause for a bit (about 5 seconds) before popping up the imageless (black) screen. Then, a message would pop up saying, "Sorry! Camera is not responding. Would you like to send an error report to HTC?" I would be given the option to "Don't send; Wait; Send Report". If I go back to the home screen a third time and then try to open the camera app again, it would say "unable to start camera".
