I have a [URL] email id and gmail id and on this phone. under select address book option i find option to select address book of [URL]. not a single phone number is getting copied

Apr 4, 2010I've just gotten a Bold 9700 and noticed that even though I have the option to sync the profile pictures of my friends with my contacts profiles on the phone, the pictures for my phone contacts remain blank. The Facebook profiles are linked to my contacts and sometimes will show the Facebook profile picture but after a while the picture reverts to a blank icon again. I've also unselected the option to sync and re-enabled the option to update Blackberry contacts with my Facebook contacts to try and force the pictures to update but no success.
I was thinking that it might also be because of a conflict wiyth other apps trying to update the contact pictures seeing as I originally imported all my contatcs from my Gmail account but I am unable to figure out which other apps, if any, are updating contact pics and thereby turn them off.
Blackberry contacts linked to a LinkedIn profile show their LinkedIn profile pics correctly though and other than that I only have BB Messenger, GTalk, Windows Live Messenger and Facebook that are linked to my Blackberry contacts.Any ideas on how I can get my contacts' pictures to sync correctly with Facebook?

Nov 29, 2015I had a GS5 and I was able to sync facebook contacts to my device contact list with ease. However, I can't do the same with my GS6 Edge. Going to accounts-> facebook, only shows my account with a gray "refresh" bar saying " sync turned off" and it gives me no option to turn it on. Master Sync is turned on, and Sync from the main pulldown bar is turned on as well. I'm getting ready to chuck this phone at the wall cuz Im so frustrated. This was not an Issue with my GS5.

Sep 19, 2011I bought E7 about a month ago. Previosuly had N95 and LOVED IT but I needed to update. I am having problems with my contacts. All my contacts are saved by sim card. I thoght sim was problem but No. Even with replacement sim, I still get errors as described on subject line above. I am thinking about contacting Nokia and get a replacement. I want to add pictures and ring tones to my various contacts but it is not possible with these errors that I am receiving. I try to add a new contact and phone does not allow it by, once again, providing an error as mentioned above. Some times, phone says that memory is full but yet the phone indicates that there are 150 contact slots still available to be used.

Mar 16, 2010Previously I saved my 800++contacts to my sim card using a Sony ericsson phones. Currently I have a new bold 9000, I tried to copy my sim card contact to the address book on bold. It came out to be only 200+ contact were shown on my bold, the rest of the 600+ contact was not copy to it. May 26, 2010Basically none of my contacts are showing up on my contact list, they seemed to have all been deleted! Also I am not using any filters. As well as this, all my text messages have no contact names assigned to them, just their number. However in my call log, my contacts names come up... And when I click on view contact through the call log, the contact's details all come up!!! For example, one of my contacts, John, is saved on my call log and when I click on view contact through the call log, his address and number comes up, so it is saved. However when he calls, his name doesnt come up...
So I'm assuming my contacts are saved on my phone somewhere, but they dont seem to come up on my contact list or text messages!! I recently added my gmail account to my Blackberry... does this have anything to do with my problem?
