Before returning my previous company BB, I saved Contacts on my personal PC as an IPD file.
I now have a new BB (Curve 9300) from my new employers and need to transfer these Contacts from the IPD file to the new phone.
This may be beyond the scope of this forum, but is there a relatively painless way to get the contacts out of iTunes into my Photon? The iPhone died and without it, I can't figure out how to get the contacts to sync. Is it possible to plug in an ipod to get it to work? I've tried different methods that I found online but have been largely unsuccessful.

I've backup the 8310 so have the contacts on my PC. When I try to restore selected data it doesn't offer me the option to do the contacts saying that they are read only!
My old SIM card died and I got a new one for my Curve 8310. I had the data plan taken off of the Curve in July 2008 and had been using it data-less ever since.Since I got my new sim card, I got texts saying that my BlackBerry Smartphone required a data plan and to call 611 to add a data plan.About 5 minutes later (I was at school), I got another text saying that AT&T automatically added a data plan to my account.
So today I called and got that data plan removed, requiring me to switch phones back to an old SE W580i.
My problem is that I need to copy 87 contacts to my sim card to use in my W580i. When I select a contact, hit the BlackBerry key and look for "Copy to SIM" I don't see anything like that. Nothing at all. The only thing I get relating to the SIM is "Sim Phone Book" which obviously has zero entries.Another problem is that even with the phone only being on for about 5 minutes, I start getting the texts that it's going to have a data plan added
I just got a new bb and need to transfer the numbers from my old curve ( that i lost) onto it. All the numbers are saved on my laptop in what seems to be an .ipd file?

After a little over 6 hours into the process, the status bar stoped moving on it. It was in the final stages of putting the information back onto my phone. I still have the.ipd file on my laptop, but I do not know how to get the information saved on that file back into my phone. I went today and bought a new Blackberry Bold and the store tried to access my contact information from my old phone to move them to my new phone, but they said they could not recover anything from it. View 2 Replies View RelatedI got a 16 GB memory card (which actually DOES have 16 GB memory - I ran H2TestW to make sure, having been burned) so that I could take a compressed backup of my data files with me in my phone.
I had one copied over ~ 4.5 GB with no problems, but now Windows Explorer tells me that "the disk in the destination drive is full" when I try to copy a 5.6 GB file to it. "Properties" said there was 10.5 GB free space.
Then I deleted the backup which was on it to create more space (14.8 GB) but I get the same message.
How can you retrieve a iphone synced backup file and save to another computer?

I have an Xperia X10 for 3 months. The contacts file uploaded from windows to google ok, but the sync with the X10 continuously failed & only worked properly last week.
