it is possible to transfer contacts from a PC directly (through Outlook) to an X10 mini pro ??Just bought one and cant get it to sync as with the other phones I have had.

I have copied all my contact and calendar details from the old phone onto Sony Ericcson PC companion but when I try and copy the data to the new phone I don't seem to have the same options. My number will tansfer on 04.01.11 and am now concerned that I may lose this info
I recently bought an Xperia Mini Pro. I have one issue with this phone...The memory card that comes with the phone is almost three-quarter filled.....so I am not able to transfer most of my songs and pictures to it...I am thinking of buying a new micro sdhc card....But I have some confusion...Should I go for a class 6 or a class 10? And what about transferring the files from my old card to the new one?? I have enough internal memory left....so I can easily transfer the apps present in my memory card to the internal storage...

Since then, process acore keeps forcing closed when in contacts or settings!There are approximately 3000 contacts in the file. Has anyone come across this and found a solution? If anyone knows a better way to transfer contacts from windows to android, speak up ,I have tried the phone dealer and manufacturer, both have ignored the question.

I have just spent ages typing all my contacts on the Sony Ericsson website. I then connected my phone and did the sync. All appeared to go well... appeared. The problem is is that all contact names were transferred, but very little of the actual contact details. Only one phone number or an email address, but never a street address, birthday etc etc. I don't have an sd card. Could that be it? Just the most basic information has been transferred. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong/what step I've missed.

I can search for names in messaging and everyone from my phone contacts, to my facebook friends and even Fearne cotton from twitter is there! View 1 Replies View RelatedI activate timescape and it tooks all my facebook contacts and put it in the adress book of my phone, and now i can not see my sim contacts. how can I undo this, I already turn off facebook in timescape, maybe i should delete it for now as i don't use it, i like to keep my phone contact separate from facebook and access facebook only when i need it. and now i can't configure presonal ring for the people i have in my phone book, because it took all the facebook information and its with timescape and dosn't have an option to set a ring for the contact in edit part i just can add it to favorites o delete contact. and i still can not see my sim contacts they are somewhere because when i tap a name in search bar it shows me the contact and phone, but i'd like to see what i have.

View 9 Replies View RelatedAfter the update to 2.1 last year, i have not been able to sync my contacts with SE sync and Gmail contacts sync. Everytime i try syncing from the phone i get an error. I did not bother because i assumed that gmail automatically syncs. Over the weekend i used SEUS to repair the phone, after which, my contacts were automatically downloaded from gmail. This morning i tried calling one of my contacts and realised they are not on my phone. Manually checked my Gmail contacts and realised most of my contacts were missing. I deleted all contacts on gmail and requested a fresh sync. Everything except my contacts gets synced. The same is the case with SE sync. Has anyone noticed this? Is there a way to correct this?

I got some kind of problem with duplicate even triplicate contacts on the pc when i log into SE sync so i press the button on screen to merge contacts and it just says there are no duplicates to merge but they are there I can see them. And when I syn with my phone the contacts list of the phone is totally different to my contacts list on the SE contacts sync on the pc, like in the list on the PC there could be 3 contacts but on the phone there is just 1 - yet after the sync it says sync was succesful I just dont get it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an Experia x10 Mini pro. Firmare version 2.1 update, kernel 2.6.29 build 2.1.1.A.0.6. I have read through the manual and followed the instructions to asign individual ringtones to contacts. The problem is that when a contact with a specific ringtone calls it only plays the normal ringtone. The ringtones I am trying the use are mp3 files which are drm free and 30 seconds in length. They are on the SD card under audio/ringtones. I also notice that when these contacts call me they show up on screen as unknown.
