Xperia X10 Mini/pro :: Transferring ALL Contact Info From Old Phone?
Jan 2, 2011
I have just bought a new X10 mini pro and want to transfer ALL the contact and calendar info from my olld Sony Ericcson W595 not just th info on the SIM card - have tried syncing - only takes numbers from SIM card.Old network 3 new network Tesco mobile.
I have copied all my contact and calendar details from the old phone onto Sony Ericcson PC companion but when I try and copy the data to the new phone I don't seem to have the same options. My number will tansfer on 04.01.11 and am now concerned that I may lose this info
Suppose I have a winmo 7 phone that I have been using for a while (HTC HD7 tmobile version) and I want to get a new winmo phone (one with support for 3g on rogers)- is there a way for me to transfer all my information, settings (people hub, contact lists, texts) etc over to the new phone without much hassle?
I'm giving up on my X10 mini for numerous reasons: Battery life, poor UI, connection issues and the fact that its a very smart little computer but a pretty rubbish phone! I need to get my contacts off it and onto my old SE, think its a w595 or something.
I wanted to transfer my contacts, ringtones, pictures, and memo pad info from my storm 2 to the 9800. I didn't want to use the DM "Switch Devices" utility because I don't want everything copied over including the settings. The pictures and contacts were easy as I just switched SD cards.Ringtones and pictures I transferred over by plugging in the phones up and used Windows to simply drag the files over.My problem is the memo pad info. How do I get that to my 9800?
I was wondering if the X10 can do the same as my last android Hero, which basically link the facebook info contact to my related phone contact, including the picture. I guess this wont need any hardware, but software. Has this improvement being asked or is it planned for future updates?
Recently I cannot edit any contact on the phone (Xperia Mini Pro) - whenever I want to edit a contact the RoadSync opens and gives the following message: "This is not a RoadSync contact. RoadSync cannot edit this contact" Of course it is not a RoadSync contact because there are no RoadSync contacts in my telephone (although, I do use RoadSync). How can I get rid of the message and allow the telephone to edit my contacts (some of them are stored on in the SIM and some are google contacts)?
S6. When I click on my profile in the contacts app, it only lists my name and nothing else. There's another contact in the list with all of my detailed info, but there's no way for me to merge the two. My N5 would update my personal info based on my Google+ profile, but my S6 apparently isn't doing anything.
Ok so i've just upgraded to the newest firmware my phone offered me (5.1.1) and when i went into my messaging i noticed that my display picture is no longer showing beside my own messages, i've checked everything i can think of and the only thing i can find that may have anything to do with it is that for some reason under the contact "Myself" my partner's hotmail address is listed, i can't edit it or delete it, i can add other fields to the contact but cannot ditch this other email address
My Outlook contact information on the PC ended up corrupted so I created another folder and moved all of the Outlook contact data to that folder (just as a precaution).
I then deleted all of the data in my Outlook contacts.
What I was hoping to do was push the data from the Bold 9650 to Outlook, effectively repopulating my contact list. The data on the phone is good. However, when I connect to the computer and it Desktop Manager attempts to sync the contact, it senses all contacts deleted in Outlook and asks if it can delete all contacts on the phone. I want to have it do the opposite, I want it to take the data from the phone and upload it to Outlook.
I'm new at this so I apologize in advance if this has been asked. I'm not even sure where or how to search for the answer.I am a former Blackberry user and, as with my Atrix, my phone can be turned on but is non-accessible without a passcode, finger swipe, etc. However, with my Blackberry, as soon as the phone was turned on, I had my name and work telephone number typed on the wallpaper, asking to be contacted if my telephone was found. I haven't found a way to put the same info on my Atrix. Perhaps creating my own wallpaper?
I recently just received a blackberry. I had no trouble transferring my photos from my previous phone to my blackberry. Now I am having issues with transferring my contact list over to my bluetooth. My previous phone is Verizon.
I recently bought an Xperia Mini Pro. I have one issue with this phone...The memory card that comes with the phone is almost three-quarter filled.....so I am not able to transfer most of my songs and pictures to it...I am thinking of buying a new micro sdhc card....But I have some confusion...Should I go for a class 6 or a class 10? And what about transferring the files from my old card to the new one?? I have enough internal memory left....so I can easily transfer the apps present in my memory card to the internal storage...
I've recently purchased an N9, which uses a micro-sim. My old phone is the N97mini, which does not. I figure the easiest way to transfer all the info, contacts, messages, calendar notes & etc is to transfer it all to my PC then onto the N9..(totally non-IT-intelligent) how I can do this with the N97?
Ive recently got a sony ericsson xperia x8 for christmas and I love it, except for a number of problems 1. When I try transferring music and other files from my computer onto the phone it comes up with an error... I have tried many things I have read online but none of these have helped.2. I can not connect to wifi in my house, it asks for the password so i type it in but it always says that it is wrong..
Bluetooth artist/album/track info from WIMP is not shown in the car display when playing. Sometimes the info for the first track is shown but not updated when playing next track, other times "no artist/album/track info".
I've recently bought this phone and imported all my contacts from my Gmail address book. Every contact has at least one assigned category, and some have multiple categories. I can filter my contacts on the X10 Mini Pro, which greatly assists in finding people, but I can't see any way to add a category tag to a new contact. I've looked at all the manuals I can find, and don't see this point addressed.
Trying to put a new contact into Contacts and tap contacts, get the contacts screen. Have the figure with the plus sign, tap it, and the next screen is coming up as ''save contact to'. Seems the add facility is not working. Haven't sync'd as its a brand new SIM and I am manually inputting contacts.
