i again lost all my contacts again in the same way as i lost them earlier. my phone got hang and then there were no contacts in my phone. this time i had the backup of my contacts.

I updated my phone since it had become really slow and I was facing a lot of problems with it.. I used the Backup and restore app and took backup of my data. After the update, however, when I tried to restore my data, I get the error msg that the ' Cannot read selected backup file'I have lost a lot of very important contacts n msgs..

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've have some unresolvable issue with two Sony widgets: "picture frame" and "photos and videos". First one lost 2x2 size and can be applied 3x3 only. Still there are "picture frame" two widgets are running since 2.3.4 android in 2x2 size. I can remove them but won't add anymore in needed size. Same with "photos and videos". I've got 2x2 one after upgrading to ICS. Wasn't up to rearange my desktops and faced that removing 2x2 was a big mistake. There is 3x3 only can be placed. "Clear date" didn't help. I'm pretty sure that both widgets can be placed in smaller 2x2 size. But OS doesn't offer that chois anymore.

Recently I updated muy SE Xperia Mini Pro to ICS (Android 4).With GB (Android 2.3.3) I choose my favorit theme in orange color. After the upgrade to ICS, the system put another themes (Emerald, Silk, Gold,Sapphire,Amethyst...), but I can't find muy GB themes.I don't remember the name of GB themes, but I was in love fron one in orange (very vivid color).
I will apreciate to everyone who can help me how to find this orange wallpaper.I download Xperia LIVE theme and this orange is to the same as I I'm looking for.
bug when my phone is idle it goes to no signal mode and 95% i have to get in arguments with my parents and my friends regarding why is my phone switched off .i am very much tired of all this so is there anyway i can downgrade to previous build .The DEVs should really fix this issue moreover Important calls matters to me the most and if the Mobile dosent work

The 2.3.4 version of camera application shoots better pictures than the updated camera application. Camera window opens and shows up the visuals as if they are zoomed in by default despite not using zoom in feature.I'm disappointed with this update of camera functions.

1) How could I have avoided this problem?
2) How can I get my contacts back? They are not in my google contacts.
3) Is there any way to turn off the sync order in Ericsson Sync so that the latest update does NOT overwrite the other. The trouble is that if I am to add all my lost contacts "by hand" in Ericsson Sync, and thereafter delete the few contacts still on my phone, then the deletion is the latest event - and that will overwrite my additions in Ericsson Sync... I am really bothered by this Ericsson Sync - I canīt really se the point of it, have I missed something?

View 7 Replies View RelatedToday I went to update my X10. While at work it wouldn't allow me to as it insisted I connected it to a computer. So at home I got the USB cabled hooked up to my Linux Laptop and then discovered it had to be a windows computer.Anyway, I got it hooked to a Windows computer and the update process began. I followed every instruction and set all tickboxes for backup.After unplugging this and plugging it back in and rebooting here and there, it finally reached the restore process.I left it restoring for a while. When I came back to it, it said something had crashed. I don't know what as I'd just woken from a nap.But, it seems all my applications are restored. Yet my gmail account & Facebook account have become disassociated from my phone and all my contacts no longer have any names or pictures. I opened the contacts/phone book and the list is completely empty. tried to import contacts but it says it cannot find any anywhere.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI activate timescape and it tooks all my facebook contacts and put it in the adress book of my phone, and now i can not see my sim contacts. how can I undo this, I already turn off facebook in timescape, maybe i should delete it for now as i don't use it, i like to keep my phone contact separate from facebook and access facebook only when i need it. and now i can't configure presonal ring for the people i have in my phone book, because it took all the facebook information and its with timescape and dosn't have an option to set a ring for the contact in edit part i just can add it to favorites o delete contact. and i still can not see my sim contacts they are somewhere because when i tap a name in search bar it shows me the contact and phone, but i'd like to see what i have.

View 9 Replies View RelatedAfter the update to 2.1 last year, i have not been able to sync my contacts with SE sync and Gmail contacts sync. Everytime i try syncing from the phone i get an error. I did not bother because i assumed that gmail automatically syncs. Over the weekend i used SEUS to repair the phone, after which, my contacts were automatically downloaded from gmail. This morning i tried calling one of my contacts and realised they are not on my phone. Manually checked my Gmail contacts and realised most of my contacts were missing. I deleted all contacts on gmail and requested a fresh sync. Everything except my contacts gets synced. The same is the case with SE sync. Has anyone noticed this? Is there a way to correct this?
