Aug 2, 2012Anytime i miss a call, the missed call log takes over my messages application (even though i did not enable call logs to be displayed in my messages application). So when i open my message or email application i will not see my emails but my missed call logs will be displayed there until i do a hard reset.

Aug 16, 2012When I go into the text messages app, it only shows the current day's messages and the time that I received them. No contact name, no number. I've played around with it a bit, but cant figure out where to even begin addressing this.
I recently switched out my Curve 9350 under warranty, since the old one was overheating and draining the battery. The first one I had didn't have this issue, from the get-go it showed contact names, pictures, and broke the messages down into days, but I could scroll and view all of them. My new one has only shown my text messages in the way I described above.

Jul 13, 2011Since this morning my BB Curve 8520 has been displaying GSM. I have tried turning it on and off again and manually searching for networks but it still says GSM. I am not receiving important texts and emails because of it.

Mar 26, 2010Everything is superb however 1 thing is annoying me and i cant seem to sort it, ive had a look round the forum and cant see this elsewhere.
When viewing "Messages" im getting Emails but its also displaying BBM messages too, the help files say check Filters but i dont even have that as an option when clicking Menu > Options. I just want Emails displayed in messages nothing else, SMS and MMS is together in another view, which is fine.

Jan 12, 2012So, got excited about the MotoACTV this past Saturday and bought online through Motorola. Realized soon after that my local REI had it in stock and I had a xmas gift certificate. Went to REI and purchased it - (Canceled my order for the Garmin 910XT in the process) Went back to the site to try and cancel my order but the 'Cancel items or order' button on my order page wasnt' functional. No biggie, I'll call. After being passed around to the same 3 depts TWICE, I was finally told the ecommerce section was closed for the weekend. Once again, I understand that.I then call on Monday, they tell me the order hasn't yet shipped but I'm not allowed to cancel it at that point. Don't quite understand and getting a bit frustrated at this point but whatever, I'll deal. Customer rep tells me that they'll issue a return slip and email it to me.
OK, I'm good with that.Wednesday comes and still no email with return slip. I call, go through the same 3 depts again and get someone else who tells me that it takes a while to get the return slip but I'll have it within 24 hours.24 hours goes by, I call again and get hung up on 3 times in the process before I can ever get to anyone. Once I get someone on the line, they tell me that it should be to me within the next couple of days... A RETURN SLIP?Once I finally lost my temper a bit, they said it would be 'escalated' and that I should be receiving it within a few hours... we'll see. They also let me know that I could not return it without the receipt.Meanwhile, I've completely soured on the one that I purchased and I'm considering returning it as well and changing my order back to the Garmin. By the way, I called Garmin's support team just to compare... night and day!
BB Bold :: Text Messages Out Of Order?
Aug 23, 2011I've recently upgraded to the new Blackberry Bold and all of a sudden my text messages seem to be out of sync.For example if I text Friend A, they text back to which I again reply - both my messages will be at the top... So if you end up having a text conversation with someone, every single one of mine will be in one place and below will be theirs. When you are reading back it is confusing as obviously you didn't text five times with no reply and vice versa all received messages appear to have been "received one minute ago" rather than the usual at 17.50 or whatever...

Jun 4, 2012my Xperia Neo has decided recently not to alert me to new messages when they arrive. I have checked my alert settings and nothing seems to be wrong there. Because of this, I have missed a couple of important messages, which were too late to deal with when i actually saw them. A good 3 hours arfter my phone said they were recieved.
To be clear, no notification bar message was displayed, my phone did not vibrate or make a sound at all.how I can fix it, but I do not wish to do a factory reset.

Jun 11, 2012I have a Torch 9800. Ever since I got it, I've noticed that, occasionally, messages will not show up in my inbox. My phone will buzz when I receive them, and I'll have the "new messages" icon on the homescreen, but clicking the messages icon brings me to an empty inbox.
I've noticed this behavior impacting email (my gmail account is the only one I have going to the blackberry), text messages, and two different third-party chat clients.
I don't have any messages being filtered to different folders or anything like that. Clicking "View Folder" verifies that my inbox is selected.
But here's where it gets weird: if I compose a new email and send it, when I return to the inbox, all the messages appear. It's almost as if the inbox is having a problem displaying the message list, but once I force a new item to display (the newly sent message), it shocks it back to life.

Jun 7, 2012I have several text messages from several different people.The problem is the display only shows 1 text message string from that 1 person at a time.All the other text message strings are hidden from me .. until I delete THAT string.Oddly, sometimes I can see 2 text message strings from 2 different people .. but I cannot see all the others until these are removed.I can't even scroll down to see the other text message strings.

Aug 28, 2014My iPhone 5 has abruptly stopped notifying me of new voicemail messages yesterday. I did not update any software recently. Not only am I no longer notified of new voicemail messages in visual voicemail, they are not listed.
I only learned of the problem when a friend bragged about the humor in his message to me. I looked but could not find the message. I then left myself a voicemail on my iPhone from a landline, but have not been notified of the new message.Â

Nokia :: N900 Music Track Order Alphabetical Not In Album Order
Jan 11, 2010I am trying to get a definitive answer as have been researching this for weeks and despite my best efforts still have no solution.I am using the fantastic N900 (well done Nokia!) and would like all my music on the device. All efforts so far have transferred music ok but album tracks always appears in alphabetical order in the music player as opposed to the album track order(not much good). This is despite careful tagging and trying with Windows Media Player, Media Monkey & Songbird to see if any work best.
I found out today that this might be due to the file being a .wma file. All my music is ripped to my PC in .wma as in my experience I find the quality vs file size is great and better by far than .mp3.Today I ripped a CD with WMP as .mp3 and after sync the track order was correct (although I do not want to use WMP through choice and certainly not .mp3, let alone re rip my entire CD Collection), my preference would be Media Monkey or Songbird with .wma.
Is this a bug or N900 problem? (I know they are different but it worked fine on N97 and N95 8gb previously with MM and .wma) Can anyone help? or even offer a recommendation or suggestion as to what they think is best format, application or way to have music on the N900 etc.

Jun 27, 2015I love car mode on my S5, except for this stupid bug where it plays music in alphabetical order instead of track order when you ask it to play an album. If I say the same command using the "OK Google" feature outside of car mode, that works just fine. The metadata on the mp3 files have the correct track info.

Jan 17, 2010I got my blackberry curve 8520 on friday, o2 contract, registered it all, sorted and working, then on sat swapped my pay and go number to my contract number so i wouldn't have to tell everyone. they said it would take 24 hours to swap so i wouldn't be able to text which i was fine about.ts now been more then 24 hours and whenever i try to send an SMS i shows a X and says "Network out of order".
