BB Curve :: Screen Keeps Going Blank And White?
Oct 3, 2011I'm having major stress with my Blackberry Curve The screen keeps going blank and white, then the phone resets and keeps going round and round in circles blanking and reseting. A few times it has loaded up, but by the time I've sent a message it has gone blank again and reset.This last time it loaded up the screen said ... uncaught exception limit <=4 ... or something very similar.

Oct 19, 2012I received an email from Blackberry saying a new SIM card had been installed. It had not since March. We followed the link and tried to follow the instructions. We did a hard reboot by taking the battery out, waiting a minute, and then putting it back in. About half way through, the screen went blank white, and we have not been able to get it to do anything else.

When i take the battery out it has a white screen with a box, like the one that shows when its loading and then eventually it turns back to the blank white screen.Then only way i can get the phone to turn back on is by plugging it in the charger. Aug 10, 2011I was recently received a brand new Bold 9700 from an aunt in Canada and I had only been using it in the UK for 3 weeks when the screen suddenly went completely white.I can still receive calls, and I can hear bbms and emails arriving but I can't see anything at all. I've have tried the battery pull many times but it still remains the same. I've been told that RIM usually offers a year's warranty on new products but because it was bought in Canada, none of the networks here in the UK are willing to take it in for repair.

Mar 16, 2012After upgrading to the iphone4, I restored from my most recent 3G back up, but most (not all) of the thumbnails in the photo library of the Photos app are just blank white squares. When you click on the white square a picture shows up, but this makes browsing almost impossible. I tried restoring, and unselecting and reselecting in itunes and cannot get a majority of the thumbnails to show. the photos that do not show are random.

BB Curve 8300 :: Phone Is On But Screen Is Blank?
Aug 1, 2010People can call me and it also vibrates and stuff when i receive messages but the only thing i can do is use the voice activation button on the side nothing else works and the screen stays blank. I've been trying to turn it off and on using the power button and even tried removing the battery but nothing seems to be working. Anyone have any ideas on if and how this problem can be fixed?

Mar 14, 2011My BlackBerry curve works from time to time...I dripped gatorade on it a few months back and the screen turned white but the phone is still on, I can make calls, receive calls and text I just can't see anything on my screen. It came back on it worked for a few days then went out again. After a week or two it came back on and today it went out again. I dropped my last phone in the toilet and that piece of **bleep** wont stop working for anything but a drop of gatorade kills my whole BB screen ughhh...Is there a solution to this problem??

Sep 5, 2012I have a problem with a curve 8520,I'm on the orange network and two days ago the phone started to play up, for no reason the screen just goes white and that's it the phone don't work, if you remove the battery and reinsert it, it some times only goes halfway through the boot up then just goes white again or will go all the way through, works as normal for a few minutes or seconds then back to white..rrrrrr!!!!Took it into the Orange shop where they tried to do a OS update and all that's done is make it go white halfway through boot up every time.... They then told me that they only cover the phone for 12 months and I've still got 3 months left on the 24 month contract... I believe blackberry phones are covered under a 24 month guarantee.

BB Bold 9700 :: Contact Pictures Don't Sync With Phone - Phone Contacts Remain Blank
Apr 4, 2010I've just gotten a Bold 9700 and noticed that even though I have the option to sync the profile pictures of my friends with my contacts profiles on the phone, the pictures for my phone contacts remain blank. The Facebook profiles are linked to my contacts and sometimes will show the Facebook profile picture but after a while the picture reverts to a blank icon again. I've also unselected the option to sync and re-enabled the option to update Blackberry contacts with my Facebook contacts to try and force the pictures to update but no success.
I was thinking that it might also be because of a conflict wiyth other apps trying to update the contact pictures seeing as I originally imported all my contatcs from my Gmail account but I am unable to figure out which other apps, if any, are updating contact pics and thereby turn them off.
Blackberry contacts linked to a LinkedIn profile show their LinkedIn profile pics correctly though and other than that I only have BB Messenger, GTalk, Windows Live Messenger and Facebook that are linked to my Blackberry contacts.Any ideas on how I can get my contacts' pictures to sync correctly with Facebook?
