May 31, 2010I have a curve 8330 through verizon. for the last two days i have been receiving all of my emails constantly every hour. i have over 400 "new" emails in my inbox, most of which i have already received and have been receiving for the past two days. they are all coming in at the same time and have flooded my inbox and are slowing down my phone. i went to verizon yesterday and they re-freshed my connection with gmail but it didn't do anything to help.

I have just received an important email that was sent at 9am but I didn't get it until 6:30pm same day. I have my push settings on and fetch data set to hourly so I should of got it 10am at the latest.

BB Curve 8500 :: Unable To Access Media Card Content From Time To Time
Aug 12, 2010I am using BB 8520 Curve with the default external memory (2 Gb). I have music files (*.mp3, *.wma) as well as picture files (captured through the device itself).What happens is, from time to time I am unable to access the media card content. If I go to music, I can see the entries if I go to any of the menu filters, All Songs/Artists/Albums/Genres .. etc. But when I click on the song itself, the music player opens with a message "This playlist contains no valid songs". Also, during this time, my device rings with the default tunes on a call, even if I have set custom profile ring tones.Similarly, if I go to Media->Pictures, I can see a thumbnail preview of the photos, however on trying to open a file it just presents me with a black screen. The contact picture or the desktop custom wallpaper, however is rendered as expected.If I reboot my device by taking off the battery, things get working again.I am experiencing this issue quite frequently, almost every day. I tried to find out a trend for the behaviour, however could not make any such consistent observations.Does anyone in the forum has faced similar issue? Any inputs would be highly appreciated. This is really being a disturbing trait with my otherwise so cool BB.

BB Curve 8520/8530 :: My Clock Changes Time Every Time I Sync.
Mar 19, 2010I went to a different time zone last month and of course changed my clock on my Curve 8520 to that zone (6 hours ahead of my home zone EST). Of course when I returned I changed back. Since then every time I sync to my computer the zone changes to a different time (7 hours behind my zone). Also now after a sync when I click on the clock icon it shows 2 analog clocks. One large one with the new wrong time and a small one to the left showing the correct time. After I reset the time I get only one large analog clock showing the correct time until I resync again.I have checked and rechecked the settings. I have changed the date/time source setting from 'Blackberry' Network Time to 'Network' Time and this does not make any difference. I've pulled the battery. I've reset the sync maagement options.What a pain having to change the time every time I sync. I've called my service provider (rogers) and they went through the same steps I have already tried.

Feb 14, 2010I have had my email service set up for a while now, I just went through and deleted a ton of emails on the comptuer and realized that it did not delete them from the phone. No big deal I just did the delete priors on the phone, well it deleted all emails up to a certain date. I did delete prior again and nothing, I tried to manually delete these emails one at a time and they wont go away. They are also not on my email account when you access it through the computer.

If I delete them from my phone they also disappear from my web-based server (AT&T) that normally holds 30 days of emails before automatically archiving. I can still access deleted emails by doing a specific search but they don't appear otherwise.

It says contact service provider when i goingt o use third party applications. BIt dosent correct the issue when i restart my phone either. But when i switch off the phone and replace battey. then wait few seconds and again switch on the phone internet is working fine for some time.Im curious about this issue hence its a intermittentl one. Sep 3, 2010I have Outlook 2007 on my desktop computer and use BT as a service provider and for my email, my Blackberry supplier is Vodafone and I use BIS.I have noticed that if my Blackberry receives an email first I don't get the same email delivered to my desktop. If my desktop gets an email first then the same email will be delivered to my Blackberry. I was happily deleting emails from my Blackberry thinking I would have them all on my desktop but I now find I have to check what emails I have on each before I delete anything. Is this an issue that anyone has come acrosss before and how do I resolve it apart from synching the Blackberry and desktop?I'm often away from the desktop which is why I bought the Blackberry in the first place.

Jun 11, 2012I have had no emails on my blackberry account for a month now. First I received a message from blackberry to say that I needed to verify my password. I did that but I still can't get my emails. Tried tweeting blackberry but very unhelpful. After asking if my email address was a google or hotmail one (its not, its an Australian telco called optusnet) they said I needed to contact my provider. Issue is that my email is through one telco - optusnet while my mobile account is with another - Vodafone. Which provider am I supposed to contact?

Sep 27, 2011I was on the 3 network for 6 months but struggled to get a good signal so i changed to Orange. I rang them up, had the config texts come through to my phone and it was all going great for 3 days. I then put my old SIM card back in the phone to see if i had any texts on my old number. After that i put the Orange SIM back in and now all my email accounts have vanished. When i go to the email wizard it lists my email accounts and says i need to re-enter my passwords to access them. I do and it just says "Sorry unable to continue your session. Please log in again".
I can't get anywhere, i'm stuck in this neverending cycle of being asked for my password the being told i can't continue, i know my passwords are correct because i've checked them.

Aug 6, 2012I cannot log into the email setup page I forgot my username and password for the email setup. This is a new phone and on my old phone I had no problem logging in. Now I cannot log in to my new phone's email setup page, because of a forgotten username. I have entered my username that I have with blackberry and also my screen name and neither one works.
