BB Curve :: Cannot Sync It To My PC

I was able to successfully update my BlackBerry Curve 3G phone from version 5 to version 6. I love the new version of the BlackBerry OS. I was able to sync it using the BlackBerry Desktop Manager. However recently I'm encountering issues whenever I try to plugin my phone to my computer. Before when I plug it in, I receive a popup that asks me if I am going to charge the phone, sync it or use as a mass storage device. Now, I don't see that message or that popup. It only charges the phone and that's it. The BlackBerry Desktop manager says it's not connected. I even tried connecting the phone via Bluetooth, still no luck. I have tried to uninstall all of the USB devices using the Device Manager as well as installing the USB Drivers from the BlackBerry / RIM website. Still, I can't sync my phone. It just charges it. Btw, I don't see a "BlackBerry" device inside the Device Manager window. I tried using a different laptop, it only charges the phone and I receive a message "USB Device Not recognized." I tried uninstalling the Desktop Manager, USB Drivers fomr the RIM website and uninstalling all of the USB devices. Then after restarting the compute,r I decided to reinstall the Desktop Manager and the USB drivers from the RIM website. Still again, no luck. I can't sync my phone using both computers. Btw, my first computer cannot recognize the phone, it just charges it but it does not show a "USB Device not recognized." message. I'm thinking this issue happened after updating the BlackBerry System Software to a minor version via Desktop Manager. Becuase a few days ago I as able to use it to my computer. It's version 6.0.xxx something. Guys please help me out. I tweeted BlackBerry and they told me to contact my carrier. My Dad bought the phone from Abu Dhabi without any subscription to a specific carrier.

I have a new curve (8530) and my carrier is Verizon. My curve was syncing with my Yahoo calendar in December without any issues. Since January it no longer syncs. My memo pad syncs, but not the calendar. I do not have Outlook on my computer, so Yahoo is my only choice of calendar. I spoke to Verizon tech support for 2 hours and we tried everything. I uninstalled and reinstalled Desktop manager, but that didn't help either.

I'm new to Macs and just bought a Mac book pro. I downloaded the BB desktop software and I'm stuck at the screen where it says to insert the device with USB. I have the BB USB and I KNOW it's connected because my BB is charging from the USB but the software isn't recognizing it.

I also read somewhere that it wasn't possible to sync with the blue tooth option, although I was able to at least get it to recognize it when I scanned for it (both from the BB and Mac).

I've been trying to sync media files. I've downloaded Blackberry Media Sync and when connected, all I get is a message "Please connect a Blackberry device". I have Compression on "enabled", Memory Card Support, Media Transfer, Mass Storage all "on", and switched Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected to "Yes". I've tried every USB on my computer, turned the phone off, on, etc. It doesn't seem to recognize that the BB is connected.

I am a new BB user and need some assistance.I currently use Comcast as my email provider.I am able to send and recieve emails to my BB, but not sync or reconcile. I would like to mark the messages as sent/responded to.Also, If I delete a message on my BB or my computer I want it deleted on both devices.I want to be able to respond to email using my BB and my Comcast email. I guess it is something to do with the POP?This seems super silly and quite a bit of extra work to double delete items, or to re-read messages. Every other phone does not seem to have an issue, not even my 5 year old phone. Is the issue a BB thing?

I recently added my personal email to my blackberry. It is a @gmail.com address. My calendar also synced with the Google calendar, which I did not want it to do. I normally sync my calendar with Outlook on my desktop. I went to sync with Outlook today and none of my calendar entries are syncing. I have just upgraded from a Curve 8310 to a Curve 9300. The former was set up to sync with Outlook 2007 with no problems using an older version of the Desktop software. I have now installed the Version 6 software. The 9300 has "Outlook" as an option but refuses to accept the settings and will not Sync. Strangely, I can set it to Sync with Yahoo but Yahoo no longer seems to support Blackberry and my Calendar won't now appear at all in Yahoo after attempting to Sync.

I recently allowed Blackberry to update its software on my computer. When I next ran it, it asked for a name for the files on the computer with which to sync. It offered Brant and Outlook (not Outlook1, which I also have for e-mail). I do not understand what it is asking for and have tried both Brant and Outlook. It will not syncronize. With Brant selected, it will not even try. With Outlook selected, it tries and then tells me that it can no sync a calendar entry, then stops.

Can I go back to the old software?
