When I reply to my personal email on my BB there is no record of my response in my send folder on my desktop. I am using FireFox.However when I respond to my company email the sent response does appear in my sent folder but they use outlook.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm kinda new to Blackberry, been toying around with my BB8310 and was trying to organize the applications into folders and such. I've searched and read thru some tutorials and stuff on how to do it. However, whenever I press the menu or alt + trackball when I highlight the application, there's only the "move" option. There's no "move to folder" option. What am I missing here? I am on a BB8310 with OS 4.5. Can someone please enlighten me. Sorry if this has been discussed before. I did a search on this in the forum itself and didn't find anything.

View 11 Replies View RelatedSo i had an old gmail account and all my contacts were synced with that one and so then i deleted that one and created a new gmail so now that im trying to sync my gmail contacts with my new gmail it wont let me it just syncs new contacts that i add not the ones that have been on my phone and in each contacts it says "synchronized with: (my old gmail)" and i wanted to know how i can change the old gmail sync with my new gmail sync i've also tried google sync and that doesnt work at all either so i would appreciate some help with this problem.

I notice my BB still deletes some entries even tho I have it set to NEVER delete entries.I use Live.com (Hotmail) for my email if that makes a difference and I have about 4 or 5 different email accounts.

View 8 Replies View RelatedMy battery came out, and when I turned my Blackberry Curve 8900 back on , my SMS folder was missing.I was able to find it by:
1. Clicking the blackberry button
2. Clicking messages
3. Clicking the BB button again and scrolling to "View Folder"
There I have options like "browser messages" "facebook messages" "mms inbox" etc.
There are two sections SMS inbox and SMS outbox. I can get to my text messages that way, but its really tedious. If I click on SMS inbox it takes me to what used to be my text screen. When I click the BB button again, there are no "move options"Anyone know how to get it back to being its own icon on the front screen?
have just got my 8520 and connected my email addresses. Everything is showing up in both the Message folder and SMS folder. How can I keep the Message folder just for my email and the SMS just for my text messages?

I have a documents folder with a ton of sub folders & files that I want to sync or just import to my iphone without a cloud service & without spending hours importing each file. I lost all contacts etc with new iphone. I found (Windows 7) the backup folder in Mobile Sync but the entries are just clusters of numbers/letters which make no sense and I can't open them with itunes. How can I get at the data?

When I want to sync my photos on my n900 onto my PC, it now dumps everything taken within the same month into the same folder.How do I change the folder naming convention/format, for example if I want everything taken today to be in its own folder as opposed to being mixed in with photos taken last week?This is a problem now because I use my N900 for photo taking a lot and the folder naming format does not match what I have always used in the past and continue to use with my regular digital camera.This was always an option in PC Suite, but doesn't appear to be an option in Ovi Suite, unless I'm missing something.

Looks like there is 2 of the folders and missing one. How can I set up Blackberry Desktop to sync with one of the missing folders and just get the contacts that that folder or "sync" description?I guess I need to know where and how to find the one folder as well.I do not know if folder is right term. On my contacts the top says "Synchronize Using: Unknown" or Synchronize Using: Desktop". When I attach the USB cable to the BB the system tray does not pop up with a notification that says "found new hardware" like it normally does when you plug a BB in. When the phone boots up it displays error msg " JVM Error 513". I attempted to looking into the device by using "cracmem" and "JL_Cmder" and no data is to be found and thus there is nothing to wipe. I suspect that the device has already been wiped thus the no data. I have pulled the battery from the phone and reinstalled; unplugged the usb cable during the BB boot process and nothing is happening. The DM application loader will not allow me to procede due to computer not recognizing the BB device thus it is not generating the "USB:UNKNOWN".
View 7 Replies View RelatedI installed the BB desktop manager for Mac yesterday, and this morning connected to remove some apps, create some space, and install all the updates. In the process of this it mysteriously just stopped doing anything right after it said "database cannot be backed up" and shut off. Now it's flashing red twice, pausing for about 2 seconds, and repeating the flashing. I pulled the battery and sim even though I was sure that wouldn't do anything, plugged it back into my laptop, plugged it into the wall both with and without the battery, and nothing has changed. The desktop manager doesn't not recognize the device at all.
I'm using a Curve 8330. Is there anything I can do or am I screwed totally? Also, and I know this is a long shot, but what are the odds that I can restore the device and save the data that's on it?
I've had my 8330 Curve with Verizon since November 2008. Very happy with it. I also happen to still be using OS 4.3.0.127 (202), which is what the unit came loaded with. I never bothered upgrading because I would always hear of people having issues or DM only backing up your contacts and not your apps, lower music volume, etc. I don't really need Docs To Go, but HTML e-mail would be nice and the biggest thing is trying to improve these BBM delays I constantly get when trying to send a message. I'm thinking an upgrade to the latest BBM might help change that.
Of course, in order to do that, I need to upgrade to 4.5. So I've decided to do it, but not before I ask for feedback here. I've scanned dozens of other threads here, all with varying opinions. It's been long enough. Is it wise to do this and, if so, what is the latest OS for VZW (is it .138)? What risks am I really running here? Need a reality check on this.
I don't know if this is possible or not so I thought I would ask here, is it possible to alter the way the menu functions in the blackberry curve? in example, what I want to do is like when I send a sms text message and when I hit the trackball and the menu options come up, the send button is highlighted, and what I would like do is modify it so that the check spelling is highlighted first and then send button is right below it, is it possible to do this or is this an internal Blackberry Software modification?

I plugged it in for about an hour but the sign would not disappear so I did a battery pull. Radio turned back on, but now the phone will not charge. The lightning icon still shows up by the battery but it is stuck at 5%. Any suggestions?
