I have the 8310 version and i can't register to Blackberry Messenger, or i can't log into Windows Messenger... What do i do... BTW: I did go to the Set up Wizard and it said i needed a password from the admin.. How do i get it?

It seems that Apple Activation servers are down?Im a computer enthusiast and have already checked my home network for issues that can block access to apple servers, also checked from another network and machines, but still no luck. Tried to activate using WiFi on my iPhone, 3G network, and even Connect to iTunes on my PC. I noticed that apple activation server is gs.apple.com. With this new default browser I am automatically routed to the mobile servers with most websites.For instance when I log in to google it defaults to mobile.Or eBay.Or Southwest.I need the full browsers and on most websites you don't have the option to switch like with Google.

I'm having the problem that some of the sites I use are blocked by ISPs in Denmark - torrent sites. Of course I use Googles DNS servers on my home WiFi - problem solved. I would also like to be able to use Googles DNS servers when on mobile data.
I would much rather change some system file that overwrites the APN settings, than install a VPN or DNS changer app.
I'm not rooted, running stock 6.0.1.
I'm not sure if this is a settings issue or if it is a Gingerbread issue. My phone no longer remembers servers (In shared folders). I now have to browse for servers or type in sever name each time I connect to my home wifi.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter trying 3 days to get my BB 8310 Curve connected to my network provider (I do have a data plan and internet plan) Iīm a little bit upset.
The problem: I have all necessary data-plans and also registered my BB on the internet at the Web-Page (BIS?).Ok, my handheld is also recognised and the system doesnīt complain.But: on my handheld I can see only the word "edge" (in small letters - this shows that no data-plan is active as we know, but thatīs not true) and not "EDGE" as it should be.An even better suspicicous issue: I called with the hotline from my provider and he also could see within his database that my handheld is registered and all plans were active.
So I tried following:
I inserted my SIM to another BB and it worked! (not so with my BB)
I also inserted another SIM from my colleague (who also uses a BB) and what happened? Nothing - also no connection.
So I assume that thereīs somehow a bug in my handheld? Has anybody an idea? I would very appreciate it.
By the way, I have the latest OS:

View 2 Replies View RelatedTitle says it all really, I had the same model of blackberry but needed a new phone. When I recieved it I had the same number but I couldn't automatically connect to the internet, including bbm, the app world and general browser.
Even when I manually connect to my home wifi I am unable to use any of these services, whereas before I could use any of them without my home internet, as it connected automatically to another server? Which i'm assuming it is supposed to do as my sibling have the same package and can do.
I've tried rebooting numerous times but with no success.
I have Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException coming up when I try to go into my bbm. Anyone know what to do.
