I can't log with the Blackberry ID, I forgot the password. And I tried to create a new account with a different email and is not working. It is possible to recover a password or create a new account?

View 1 Replies View RelatedAbout 1 year ago I bought a blackberry curve 8320 on ebay in germany. I now wanted to register at the BIS (at Vodafone in Germany). It tells me that the phone (PIN) is already registered at the BIS. I tried to use the "send Password" Link with my PIN Number but it didnt work out. (The website says the password is sent successfully but it does not reach my cell phone). Aftre that I asked at VOdafone Customer support and they said the phone isnt registered with Vodafone. Is there a chance to delete or edit the old account registered to my PIN Number? So that I can register and get my own BIS!

If is not a problem I can tell you that I never see the option on my blackberry offer me to create an account or add an account on the BB only says in email setups this " I want to use a work email acc with a BB Enterprise Server." that is the unique option that appear on the phone. The icon for de email configuration also didn't appear.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI used to have my work e-mail address (not an enterprise account) linked to my blackberry. I have no idea how it happened. When I tried to set it up it asked for a password and I didn't have one for it. I closed the e-mail set-up thinking it had not worked. However, despite the blackberry saying it could not set-up the account, lo and behold a few minutes later I got the e-mail account activation message and everything was working. This was before I downloaded the new OS.Fast forward to today: the e-mail account accidentally was deleted. Now when I try to set it up I get more or less the same messages but it does not work magically as it did before. I have contacted our IT administrator to ask if there is ac password for my specific e-mail. We use Microsoft Exchange Server. He told me there are no other passwords than the one I use to access my e-mail through the internet. However, I have tried that password and it does not work.

Recently I had to change my email password on the computer, and it caused my blackberry to no longer be able to send or receive my emails. So I went back into setup and went to the email set up so that I could change my password on my phone, but when I click the "Email Accounts" button in set up, it doesn't go anywhere. It used to be easy, but now the account setup is some kind of automated process - optimized for Ovi Mail, Gmail and such services. My email account surname is not my email address (fist.surname@gmail.com type) but something like "fisurnam". The result is that I give my password in vain, no connection established.
What should I do to create the account? It is also not clear, am I giving my password to Nokia service or is it going directly to the email account provider. This is an important thing as my work email password may not be given to anyone, not even to Nokia.

When I'm on my 4S and goto install pending App updates, it requires a password. That password is different than my iTunes store password. Is that correct? I know the password to install the apps, but can't figure why it's different. It seems wrong. My iTunes userid is a "xxxxx.mac" format and when I goto install the apps, it just says my userid is just "xxxxx".BTW, when I plug my 4s into my imac, iTunes does not recognize it. It is recognized on my Macbook. Not a cable or port problem. This is a whole other issue, but I wonder if they're related.
