I'd like to delete MyWeather Lite from my Curve, but when I go into the list in Desktop Manager that is the ONLY app that won't uncheck. All the others will. But I can't, for the life of me, get MyWeather Lite to uncheck so I can delete it.
View 3 RepliesI've read through other posts and have tried everything - hope you can help. BBerry suddenly not allowing me to create SMS messages, and won't delete those that are there. I tried removing the battery, no luck. I tried the desktop manager, but it says the database for SMS is unavailable and confirgured for wireless config (etc) only. I really don't want to hand this to my IT department to fix (a couple of embarrassing texts on there!).Any clues how I can access and delete, or get it working again?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI had an 8310 and just bought an 8900 brand new off of eBay. I used the 8310's speakerphone A LOT for listening to music and loved it! I always took the back of the phone off too so that it wasn't coming through 2 little holes through the top. Is the sound quality and volume of the 8900 equal to or greater than the 8300 with its batter door off?

View 5 Replies View Relatedhi. had 8900 for few months on orange uk with data plan. have been using email, internet and windows live and blackberry messenger all fine using either wi fi or mobile now all of a sudden its stop working and i cant use none. when i try to connect to internet i get a msg say this is a wi fi service please ensure your device has a wi fi connection , bb messenger wont send mgs or receive windows live jus says this service is not enabled for this handheld. ive contacted orange but they havnt helped they did say it could be a update of facebook causing problem?. have tried removing battery and restoring removed service books etc nothings fixed. can anyone help plz?

However whenever I check for updates via the blackberry site the desktop manger pops up and does not offer this upgrade. All it says it 4.6.1 (current) and the rest are downgrades, so I'm not quite sure what I need to do to get the new OS to even appear, much less download it and work.

View 5 Replies View RelatedFor Storm2 9550 users...I'm a texter kind of person and the Storm 2 9550 was certainly a mistake purchase as I was mislead by my carrier into thinking it would be a good phone for me because it has WiFi capabilities and the ability to text many people at once. I don't think my carrier realized that I'm not 80 years old, I can text more than 2 characters per second. I need a quick and snappy firmware for texting where my phone won't slow down so much as to only be able to text 1 character every second. Not only that, but a web browser that doesn't take 20 seconds to load [URL] (although I don't use it much anyway as I have a laptop). Seriously, can we get a custom firmware meant for high speed texting?

For the last two weeks my curve is showing I have 6 unread email messages yet I have none.I searched the forum and it's not call logging as I had that turned off.Anybody have an idea what's causing this? I have double checked all my email accounts all to know avail.
