When I try to send text messages, they sometimes end up in the Outbox, and I cannot send them on from there. This seems to happen mainly when the message has a photo attached.There is also a red letter "G" in a square which has appeared next to the signal indicator.Can anybody suggest a solution to this?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a Galaxy S2 in and exchange 2010 server organisation. All syncing works great contacts tasks calender etc.When configuring i received a mail saying i could send sms messages from my outlook client on my desktop.
All my sms's I receive on my phone show in the inbox of my outlook, (So that part works).When trying to send an SMS from my outlook(Desktop PC) it gets to my galaxy s2, in the mail outbox but doesnt send.why is the text message in outbox on phone and not messaging outbox?If i go into the mail outbox on the phone and try to send it manually it still doesn't send.not sure where to look to solve the issue. (Phone settings or exchange settings)?

View 1 Replies View RelatedSuddenly my Tocco started to play, when I press anything on the touch screen it registers the touch in completely different place, or doesn't at all. So, either you have to press ALOT of times to do anything or you just get angry and cannot do anything. I took it to local samsung store with my warranty, after a week I had it back and they said it was liquid damaged therefore you have to pay.What I though is, if it was liquid damaged (But I never remember to have any liquid on the phone, even a small bit) wouldent it be worse? Not just screen sensetivity. After looking on ebay I have found Digitizer with touch screen for Tocco, which costs 15 pounds. So my question is, would it solve the problem if I bought it and replaces, and if not, any way to sort it out without paying too much?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have been given a faulty Samsung Tocco F480 if I can fix it, its mine basically. It starts up fine, screen display is crystal clear, it vibrates when starting and plays the startup tone but the touch screen will not function at all. The person who gave me it took it a mobile repair shop and asked how much it would be for a new screen, £45 they quoted but he's unsure if that was for the LCD screen or touchscreen. They then looked at it and said it was water damaged and the motherboard/circuit board would need replacing too! Now I've had this phone to bits and the water mark indicators inside the Tocco casing as well as on the battery were both white so I dont think it is water damaged. I think it could just do with a new Digitalizer Touchscreen casing as if the circuit board was to fault surly the LCD screen or vibrate motion would be effected. I've done some reasearch and a lot of Samsung Tocco phones with similar probs like mine just need a new Digitalizer when the touchscreen isnt working and that works fine after.

The ear phones which I got with the phone broke the other day(one ear piece went mute to be more precise) Bought some new ear phone for my tocco and when I tried them I could not get a reception. When I do a search with new earphones in it wont pick up any stations, its just comes across as crackling through my ear phones. But when I put my old earphones back in and search it picks up all the stations no bother.
View 1 Replies View Relatedbasically paid a website to get the unlock codes ,gave them the network the phone was on and the IMEI numbers, got the codes no problem about 4 days ago had not had time to put the codes in there still unused when all of a sudden today the phone went blank and froze after 5 mins it came back to life instead of dispaying Tesco mobile which the phone is locked to is said unlimited i thought great the websites unlocked it for me, i put an o2 sim in it came up o2 network thought great its worked then realised even tho the o2 sim is in the phone is still using the mobile numer from the tesco sim card how is this possible ? any ideas whats happened far as i knew u ordered the codes online they give you them then its up to you to install them, is it possible for the website to have done something? as i have not entered one single code into my phone all i did was send them the IMEI number and pay for it that was it never ever used the codes?

The only option when selecting them is to delete, which removes them from the conversation threads. It doesn't seem to be related to service, but to whether I am using the phone for any other purpose at the time.
2) When connected to a car BT system, shut off car, BT seems to go into a black hole. You can't reconnect, can't make a call (well, it makes a call, but you can't hear anything; can't play music, etc.). The only solution is reboot. This happens with multiple systems in different brands of auto, so not limited to one brnad.
I have been using Nokia 5530 XpressMusic for more than a month now, but from 3-4 days I am unable to send any messages because "the message" simply stays in the outbox.Hard Reset (*#7730*) solved my problem, but only for an hour or so.. I checked out the forum and saw that other users of Nokia 5530 XpressMusic are facing the same problem and the solutions given there are not working out for me.I would really love it if people at Nokia will fix this bug ASAP.and I would really love to read the solution if anyone else was able to solve this problem on their phone.. because Hard Reset deletes everything on my phone, my contacts, my applications etc.

When I send MMS, the message is sent and recipient gets it, but message doesn't delete from Outbox folder. Although message was sent and received by recipient it stays in Outbox folder marked as "Deferred". Why ? It was sent and recipient gets it normally.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI've been using my N8 with my virgin mail account happily for about a year. Recently I've found that outgoing messages are getting stuck in the outbox. They sometimes send (several days later) after I have restarted my phone. I thought I would try removing the mail box and starting again, after a couple of attempts the mail box was removed, but when I tried to set it up again.
It seemed to hang in the middle of the task and I ended up with a mail box with a string of hexadecimal numbers as the mailbox name. Now I cannot remove it : whenever I try to remove it, I get as far as 'removing mailbox' and then it just hangs there (have left it overnight). Possibly related, I have had a couple of messages recently about phone memory being full, but if i look at it through file manager it has 116MB free, and nothing in there which looks like it could obviously be removed.
Over the last week or so, I have been finding it increasingly difficult to send emails from K9 mail. have always had a problem whereby emails go into an "outbox" instead of being sent to my correpsondent when I hit send. I then have to go to the "outbox" folder, bring up the menu and then pres Send Messages. Extremely frustrating in itself, but just about tolerableNow however when I do this I get a notification saying "could not send some messages java.net.SocketException: H". Fpor a while, it would eventually work after 5 or 6 tries, but now just won't send at all.
View 3 Replies View RelatedFor Storm2 9550 users...I'm a texter kind of person and the Storm 2 9550 was certainly a mistake purchase as I was mislead by my carrier into thinking it would be a good phone for me because it has WiFi capabilities and the ability to text many people at once. I don't think my carrier realized that I'm not 80 years old, I can text more than 2 characters per second. I need a quick and snappy firmware for texting where my phone won't slow down so much as to only be able to text 1 character every second. Not only that, but a web browser that doesn't take 20 seconds to load [URL] (although I don't use it much anyway as I have a laptop). Seriously, can we get a custom firmware meant for high speed texting?

I was quite happy about it since my work place has hotmail blocked and I can now check my hotmail via the phone, but.... after few days I found out all my outgoing emails are all stucked in the outbox, I tried "Send and Receive" but they still stuck there, can anyone know how to solve this problem?

I had the same problem with the Curve and I somehow fixed it, but I can't remember how. I do not have the sent messages hidden either.

When I "send" an e-mail, it goes to the Outbox. I then have to go to the outbox, open up the e-mail, and click send again before the e-mail sends.
Is there a setting I need to change or is this a problem with OS4?
