BB Curve 8500 :: How To Remove Sound On Exit From Camera
Sep 13, 2010My BB 8520 curve plays a sound when I exit from the camera. It was a song I mmsed to a friend on her birthday, I have deleted the voice note and the mms, but each time I exit from the camera: "Happy birthday......" Its really annoying. Have this happened to anyone else? It doesn't matter which profile is activated and I couldn't find anything in the sound settings about the camera.... Help please! If I hear that song one more time I might not have a BB anymore.

Feb 18, 2011My problem is with Wifi connection to my Siemens Router. The phone detects my network and shows three bar signal strength. I then select the network, type in the password, select connect.....and nothing. It shows the network as remembered, but everytime I try to connect nothing happens and the Wifi 'tick box' always shows disconnected.It did connect to a BTopen Network. Which leads me to believe it is my router. The wireless is obviously on and working if the phone detects it. So, as a newbie to wireless, I assume all you need to connect the phone is the SSID name, and the WPA key (which, I believe is the password).

Dec 22, 2010Upgraded to 2.2 using my home wifi. All seemed Ok and the phone rebooted.
I get as far as the opening screen showing the time and date but none of the four buttons along the bottom of the screen do anything. The only button working is the on/off button.
Tried a factory reset using the volume down and power button. Phone rebooted but I am still stuck with buttons that don't respond and I cannot do anything.
HTC :: Legend Screen Failure
Aug 5, 2010on Sunday August 1 I reached to answer a call on my sweet new Legend, and the screen did not come on. The phone promptly turned off. I was able to restart the phone, it played the welcome chime and the notification LED blinked but no screen. A hard reset was out of the question because of the lack of screen functionality.
I've since sent it in for repair, but wanted to post this because someone I know had the exact same problem and am wondering how many others there are out there that are going through the same issue.

Sep 13, 2010Ever since the update I've had what I'm assuming is a notification icon on my screen and I've tried everything i can think of to figure out what it could be. It's appears to be a golden globe (almost like that of the web browser icon - which was what i though it was related to) with a number 1 next to it just as if it was a message or social network notification. It used to be that I could see how I was connected with either the wifi symbol or the gprs symbol and I could also see the connection symbol (white square with 2 green squares). Jan 25, 2010One step forward 2 steps back! I had a problem with my e-mails I stopped receiving messages on Friday and since talking to the service centre I now have 2 icons on my main screen. The new one has a globe at the bottom and my email address at the top when I scroll over it. All very nice but totally unnecessary.
Since this icon has appeared all my emails on my main computer are being marked as read. They were not before Friday Any ideas??

Sep 9, 2010I have a blackberry curve the 8500 series. And I use it for just about everything. The only problem I have is that I cant view my bank account on the browser. I am can get to the loggin screen and after I put my info in and press ok it goes to a white screen and says at the top "dual authentication".
The phone is not frozen it just wont load up my bank account. I know my bank account works on mobile devices because before I got my bb I had a phone that it worked on and my boyfriends phone lets me do it too. I know a bb can do just about everything so I am guessing there is a setting I have to change.

Aug 21, 2010I recently received a message telling me that an update was available for App World. I downloaded the update, installed it and rebooted. Now I am unable to download apps. When I hit the download button it takes me to the sign in for BlackBerry ID, then to terms and conditions and then to my ID settings! The only way I can get off this screen is to press Discard, which takes me back to where I started! I just keep going round in circles.

Jun 9, 2010I have a Curve 8520 from TMobile (US).I also had a Pearl 8100 from Fido (Canada).I got the Curve unlocked and want to use it on the Fido network instead of the Pearl. I seem to have gotten everything working on the Curve, except for the email.I had the same email accounts (gmail, hotmail) set up on both phones, but for some reason now that I've switched over to the Curve on the Fido network, I can't send or receive email.I've checked all my settings, and they seem right.I can access the web, my Wi-Fi is set up, and I can send & receive texts. Anyone have any ideas about this email problem? Also, I can't remember my account username for the BB website to access my account online to change the email.When I ask to send my password, it says it has been sent to my BB, but of course I can't receive email, so I'm not getting it.
