I can't get rid of the 2F on top left of my curve!!! f is for facebook. Things i have tried: 1) check notifications there are none 2) read all msges did that 3) go insane doing it now!
View 4 RepliesI have a new Curve 8530. The past 2 days there has been a message symbol on the screen but no message when i dial into voice mail. I can't get rid of the symbol at the top. Anyone run across this before? I tried turning the power off and on but that didn't work.

i charged my iphone overnight and it is turned off. i noticed for the past few days that the plug symbol when an iphone is fully charged never appears. the iphone seems to be still charging. but when i turn on my phone it says that it is 100% charged. why wouldnt the charging symbol change into the full plug symbol when fully charged?

I think that the Wifi symbol, when present, should be right next to the 3G/E and not replace it. Most of the time I'm on 3G because of Sweden's excellent coverage however I'd still like to see whether I'm on 3G or EDGE when connected to a Wifi network.

View 9 Replies View Relatedi have the curve 8520...it was working earlier today I changed my sim card so I put my phone shut off. After this when I switched on my hand set.. then I found a battery symbol with a red x and the phone is not booting OS. I am not sure what that means but my phone won't turn on and won't charge. I tried taking the battery out and now it turns on but the symbol is still there and the loading bar is on the screen and it won't change. I also took outmy sim card & memory card.

I'm still a novice using it, but I am having a problem getting the yellow envelope icon that alerts you that you have new messages to go off. On the message envelope (or just above it) on the bottom left-hand corner of the screen; when I highlight it, it says, "1 messages". The yellow envelope is also on at this time. But when I open the message box or any of the other email boxes, there are no messages. Of course this is on the home page if I didn't mention that. I cannot find an email, sms or mms message (new) anywhere. Anyone have a suggestion?

When I hit the download button it takes me to the sign in for BlackBerry ID, then to terms and conditions and then to my ID settings! The only way I can get off this screen is to press Discard, which takes me back to where I started! I just keep going round in circles.

I seem to have gotten everything working on the Curve, except for the email.I had the same email accounts (gmail, hotmail) set up on both phones, but for some reason now that I've switched over to the Curve on the Fido network, I can't send or receive email.I've checked all my settings, and they seem right.I can access the web, my Wi-Fi is set up, and I can send & receive texts. Anyone have any ideas about this email problem? Also, I can't remember my account username for the BB website to access my account online to change the email.When I ask to send my password, it says it has been sent to my BB, but of course I can't receive email, so I'm not getting it.

It has been stuck here all day! I called Fido earlier and asked them what to do and they told me to connect to my computer, I have done that and have tried everything and the problem still exists.
I have just upgraded to the BB 8520 Curve and I cant find predictive text anywhere?Surely it must be there somewhere !
