I have a new Curve 8530. The past 2 days there has been a message symbol on the screen but no message when i dial into voice mail. I can't get rid of the symbol at the top. Anyone run across this before? I tried turning the power off and on but that didn't work.
View 5 RepliesI just updated my phone, and found a new app on my homepage. Its called visual voice mail, and when I bring it up, it makes me download a "Self Serve". When I downloaded it, it was supposed to download it to my memory card, but I cannot find it, and this app wont work. Anybody know how to get it up and running?

When I get a voicemail, a simple, white icon (a single line with a small circle at each end) appears in the top left of my screen, where the email & text notification icons also appear. In the past, once I check my voicemails, the icon goes away. But this time it has not. I have checked my voicemail several times and even erased all of my saved voice mails, but the icon will not go away! How can I get rid of it?

Got a 9700 on Telus HPSA network. Having the same issues as everyone else for the dropped calls, SMS, etc.I am also having a small issue with the New Message Inditcators.When I get a new email, I can go to the main message folder which shows all the messages. If I view it there, the new message indicator for that folder disappears, but it stays on the other folder (gmail, SMS, etc). Is there a way to get it to clear like on my old Curve? Also, want help with changing the sound for my voicemail notifier. I can't find it anywhere in my sound profiles. Can anyone find it? I want to change it.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a jailbroken iPhone 4 and my fiancée just purchased a brand new iPhone 4 last night. We are using itunes 10 on a macbook pro. I have been having issues with voicemails and picture messages not being received so I decided to upgrade to 4.1 and also to upgrade her new phone as well. I currently have 4.0.1 on my phone and when I plugged it into itunes it said there was an update but only to 4.0.2. Confused I upgraded anyways hoping that after I would plug it in and find that it would let me go to 4.1. However itunes is telling me that 4.0.2 is the newest update. I then tried to plug her new phone that already has 4.0.2 on it to see what would happen and again itunes tells me that she has the newest update. I have done everything I can think of to fix this and can't find out why it is doing this.
Things I have done on both phones:
-Deleted itunes and reinstall. I'm new to a macbook so I dragged itunes to the trash and it seemed to get rid of everything.
-Hard reset both iPhones
-Erase all content and settings.Restored from backup which didn't work then restored to new iPhone..I'm not really sure what else to do. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.
I have the 9700 Bold.I was listing to a visual voice mail when I received a call.After the call the visual voice mail message is locked.I can delete it but when I get a new visual voice mail the old one I deleted re appears along with the new one and both are locked.All of this occurs in the email app.I can go to the visual voice mail app. And it works as it should.I tried deleting all voice mails in both apps. but it dose not solve the problem once a new message is left.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy curve 8520 came with the plug in and when I try to download gmail app, it just incorporates into the e-mail folder. What I would prefer is what I had on my old phone, the G-mail "envelope" icon so that when I read my gmail (where all my e-mail goes) inbox I have all the features (star, label, etc.).
To accomplish this, should I remove the plug in via DM and then download the G-mail app from the web?
My 8900 has been working wonderfully until just recently. I'm still a novice using it, but I am having a problem getting the yellow envelope icon that alerts you that you have new messages to go off. On the message envelope (or just above it) on the bottom left-hand corner of the screen; when I highlight it, it says, "1 messages". The yellow envelope is also on at this time. But when I open the message box or any of the other email boxes, there are no messages. Of course this is on the home page if I didn't mention that. I cannot find an email, sms or mms message (new) anywhere. Anyone have a suggestion?

View 2 Replies View RelatedLove my new Lumia 900. One odd issue I can't solve and AT&T can't solve. They referred me to Nokia. When I check a voice mail and delete it, I get a blank text message from 1-(000)-000-0000. I get one for every deleted voice mail. AT&T says there is no setting for this.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry 8530smokey violet, my carrier is Verizon. I'm having trouble receiving and sending any type of message(bbm/email/text) while on a phone call. When I hang up ALL my message come pouring in (I guess I should be happy they come in at all). Initially all the messages came in silently so I adjusted it so that I would be notified when a message comes in. I've since removed it but I still have the problem. Any advice?
Also while at work I changed the ringing to silent but all my messages cause my phone to make noise, I assumed when I made the phone silent I assumed all messages/phone calls would be silenced. Was I incorrect?
I have an old work e-mail account on my Curve 8520 that I want to remove and can't find out how - anyone know?
