View 5 Replies View RelatedMy buttons seemed to have stopped working properly. In order to adjust the volume using the side button, I have to shut down the phone and then restart it. It will work for a while and then stops working and I have to go thru the process again. The home button just works whenever it wants. It doesn't fix the problem when I restart the phone. I can slide my finger in a circle around the button and it still doesn't work.

have had my iphone for almost 1 and a half years, and about 8 months ago my home button started wrecking; i would press it and it would either not open the iphone (take it off sleep mode to show lock screen) or the button would get stuck in and would start the voice control.. then about one week ago my vibrate button wasnt vibrating, even when i got a call or message or alarm... around one year ago, my camera started wrecking; like i would go into it and it would be blurry, and over the past year it has been getting worse and worse, and now i cant use my back camera at all.

I honestly love the phone. I think it'd a great change to having used the LG G4 and past Galaxy phones.I have this issue though and I'm not sure if it's a big issue or if it's common. Sometimes when I press the power button the screen doesn't wake up until I press the power button a second time. Almost as if it didn't recognize the first press and did the second. It's only happened about 2-3 times in the last 2 days I've had it. I don't know if it's that I am not pushing the button hard enough or if this is a common issue? I thought I had seen something about this somewhere else but I can't find that post/article anymore. Should I get the device replaced? I am on T-mobile BTW.

I have an iphone 4s one month ago. Sometimes when I press the home button when the phone is locked, the screen lights on for a second and after that, the screen gets off again and the phone continues locked. I have to press again the home button, so the phone show me the control to unlock it. Is this normal or this is the sign that my phone should be repaired before it gets in a worse state? Have other user observed this behavior in the 4s iphone?

So today out of no were siri started appearing by itself several times and then the home button was not responding. There are some times when I push it and siri comes up other times nothing happens, it isnt stuck or anything and fingerprint id is still working it i've tried restarting,but it didnt work now i'm updating it to the 7.1.1 version to see if it resets or something.

I purchased my Xoom a month ago and haven't had any problems except when i turn it off it ma or may not start again so i leave it on all the time. I hold the on button and volume high button on for three to five seconds . sometimes this works and som times it don't. If i hold the two buttons for longer a message appears about start protocolect. I have no idea what this means.

Today, I was going to back up my phone but my battery went flat before I could do this and now I cant get the phone back on!! Some have suggested holding down the volume up button then plugging in the usb lead while connected to a computer, it didn't work. I have also tried the volume down button and the home button at the same time while plugged in via usb, this didn't work either. how I can get into recovery mode without using the power button, I really need to get the phone back on, the battery is sealed in.

Sometimes it suddenly starts working again after a restart and then works repeatedly untill untill the phone is left idle. Then the next time i pick the phone up it won't work again. The button itself feels no different to normall and has a positive click feel to its operation but i have noticed that when the phone is left on standby it suddenly starts illuminating the main screen repeatedly for no reason and i think the back button may be stopping from working after this happens, however i have not yet had it do this consistently to be sure yet. I have done a master reset, removed battery, software update (hard to do with intermitant back button btw) but all to no avail. All i have managed to achive is losing a load of my contacts actual numbers on SE's crappy sync service (contacts still listed but numbers gone and not in trash?)
View 4 Replies View RelatedHaving major trouble as of yesterday afternoon. Seems my touch Screen is on the frits. I noticed my back button didn't work all of a sudden, but the search and home and menu buttons all still work. and i could barely unlock my phone because a strip up from the back button wasn't working. I have done all i know to do at this point, pulled the battery twice, As bad as i hated to, i did a factory reset, which did increase the speed but i lost all of my customizations, and apps. I had 122 market apps and salvaged about 20 - 40 from the market, only 4 was paid. Anyways the problem still existed. IT came back for a few minutes after about an hour after the factory restore, and started working, then went away again. and didn't work again until i started typing this thread. I know it won't last though....
I'm out of warranty and i got shot down by calling verizon for a replacement, thought i might run by a store later to see what i can do. I want to hold out on an upgrade until next year when hopefully the droid 4 will have a keyboard and 3g . I hate to upgrade to a 3g phone this year when 4g is in my area now.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI've had my Blackberry Curve for over a year and it used to be that when I would compose an email I would start typing in a contact name in "TO:" and it would automatically insert the email address I have stored for that contact. It no longer does this. Even if I manually enter the complete email address, there is no "send" function on the menu any longer It worked fine until recently. Now I cannot compose email with my phone due to this problem.

If you want to use this application please contact your service provider to upgrade your data plan.".I do not have a BIS plan but I am able to get into BB App World, Facebook app, twitter app, whatsapp app through WiFi but the pop up appears after more or less an hour and leads me having to reboot by blackberry to get it to work again. The signal is pretty much always on EDGE or GSM where the internet does not work, as well as Apps such as Facebook and Twitter, and do not receive my messages/BBM's and can't make calls at time - the call just fails- so I'm guessing there's something wrong with my signal of the phone.

I realised I could scroll left and right but not up and down.So I took the battery out and resetted it then out of curiosity I just a dry wipe over the trackpad and it worked perfectly. So I tried my jumper and same again, the track pad worked perfectly, then when I use my thumb + finger, nothing, just left and right again.I rebooted it again, and still...the same.Why is it not working? (btw, I tried changing sensitivity and its still not working)

View 8 Replies View RelatedSo I got my new Blackberry Curve 8530 two days ago with Virgin Mobile.I have the $35/month plan with UNLIMITED data, web, & text and 300 calling minutes.I love the phone but I've had a lot of issues with it:- When I download the Facebook app it says I don't have the data/service plan for it and I've even tried downloading the v1.6 via web instead of app world.- I tried to make a BIS account and it said it wasn't registered with the service and told me to do the whole host routing table thing and I did, I DID get the registration message and I tried to make a BIS again and it still doesn't work!- When I go to the Email Setup it only has the option for an enterprise account, and I want to use a personal account.- The blackberry maps isn't in any folders or on the homescreen but it is in the options>applications folder.* Also, the twitter app, Internet, and everything else work fine!I think that's all and I really want to know if you guys have any solutions and I really love this phone! I really want to know if it's a Virgin Mobile or Blackberry issue!
