IPhone :: Home Button And Side Button For Volume Control Both Are Not Working Properly
Jul 5, 2012My buttons seemed to have stopped working properly. In order to adjust the volume using the side button, I have to shut down the phone and then restart it. It will work for a while and then stops working and I have to go thru the process again. The home button just works whenever it wants. It doesn't fix the problem when I restart the phone. I can slide my finger in a circle around the button and it still doesn't work.

May 23, 2012have had my iphone for almost 1 and a half years, and about 8 months ago my home button started wrecking; i would press it and it would either not open the iphone (take it off sleep mode to show lock screen) or the button would get stuck in and would start the voice control.. then about one week ago my vibrate button wasnt vibrating, even when i got a call or message or alarm... around one year ago, my camera started wrecking; like i would go into it and it would be blurry, and over the past year it has been getting worse and worse, and now i cant use my back camera at all.

May 11, 2012I have an iphone 4s one month ago. Sometimes when I press the home button when the phone is locked, the screen lights on for a second and after that, the screen gets off again and the phone continues locked. I have to press again the home button, so the phone show me the control to unlock it. Is this normal or this is the sign that my phone should be repaired before it gets in a worse state? Have other user observed this behavior in the 4s iphone?

Jun 23, 2014So today out of no were siri started appearing by itself several times and then the home button was not responding. There are some times when I push it and siri comes up other times nothing happens, it isnt stuck or anything and fingerprint id is still working it i've tried restarting,but it didnt work now i'm updating it to the 7.1.1 version to see if it resets or something.

Aug 5, 2015I honestly love the phone. I think it'd a great change to having used the LG G4 and past Galaxy phones.I have this issue though and I'm not sure if it's a big issue or if it's common. Sometimes when I press the power button the screen doesn't wake up until I press the power button a second time. Almost as if it didn't recognize the first press and did the second. It's only happened about 2-3 times in the last 2 days I've had it. I don't know if it's that I am not pushing the button hard enough or if this is a common issue? I thought I had seen something about this somewhere else but I can't find that post/article anymore. Should I get the device replaced? I am on T-mobile BTW.

I hold the on button and volume high button on for three to five seconds . sometimes this works and som times it don't. If i hold the two buttons for longer a message appears about start protocolect. Mar 22, 2012On my iPhone 4 when I click into game center I dont think it is acting as it should? There are a few things wrong I think?
- In the friends tab it just says "No Friends" and has no button anywhere for me to add friends.
- There are only three tabs down the bottom 'Me', 'Friends' and 'Games' - shouldnt there be an extra one?
- Randomly sometimes when I enter game center then exit again a notification show on game center in my home screen and when I click on game center to find the notification it is no where to be found but the little red "1" still stays over game center in my home screen and I can't get rid of it?
