I have a blackberry bold 9780 and my network provider is t-mobile. The signal usually says GPRS but yesterday it changed to GSM. I have taken the battery out and the sim and it still doesn't change back. I have also changed the network selection mode to manual but its still stuck. I can't use the internet and my emails don't come through either.
View 1 Repliessetting in symbian belle that i may have toggle that switches the phone from 3g to 2g. Its been stuck on AT&T's 2g edge network for the last 2 days.I took out my sim card and placed it in my trusty E71 and 3g works fine, so its not the carriers problem. I really hope this 701 isn't faulty. I already had to return one because of a defective accelerometer. They don't seem to make Nokia's like they used to.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI've been in EU for almost a year with an Jailbroken and unlocked iPhone.I've been using Vodafone since I got here and things have been great. Yesterday, I asked my brother in law if I could use his T-Mobile SIM card just to see how it would work because a friend from back in the U.S.sent me a pre-paid T Mobile SIM for when I got back.
Ever since then, even with my or my wife's Vodafone SIM card in the iPhone, it is attached to the T-Mobile network regardless if I choose Vodafone manually in the carrier settings. I thought at first it was still Vodafone but just reading it as T Mobile, but I no longer get 3G service and only get that stupid little ˚ icon. It's likely not a HUGE deal since I'm going back to the U.S. on Tuesday, but I would just like to know that my phone isn't totally messed up.
I say that only because my iPhone is steadily becoming crap. The wifi stopped working about 2 months ago out of the blue, as if the hardware didn't exist and now this.For the record, this is an 3G iPhone (not 3GS) running iOS 3.0 If I restore the phone back to factory settings, I lose my JB and unlock, correct ?
i have bought this unlocked phone for about 550$, but internet is stuck on edge(not even 2g) which is incredibly slow.Please help me solve this i have searched internet but just a few ppl has the same problem with unlocked samsung galaxy S2 and tmobile.That made me think that there might be a solution like changing the Tmobile sim card(i dont know if there is only one type of sim card), entering an unlock code provided by tmobile, or going to a samsung maintenance service and let them fix it or anyother? I have updated to the new firmware but did no effect.I cant understand how such a big company like samsungs' cutting edge new phone comes out of the factory with unsupporting the USAs one(Tmobile) of the 2(Tmobile,ATT) GSM networks data frequency.

It was working about 2 days ago, except the keyboard was sticky so I turned it off and got some isopropyl alcohol cleaner and followed some instructions on how to open it all up and clean it which i did. Before i cleaned it i turned it on and the loading screen came up, only it gets to about 5 or 10 percent then restarts itself which it then proceeds to do over and over. I have looked into this problem and it seems i need to reinstall the os?

Was chatting on my bold 9900 when all of a sudden it just reboots automatically. It stuck at around 80% of reboot on the screen and has not moved. Took the batteries and SIM out, in beginning it was rebooting fine but again stops at the same spot (at around 80%) and has not moved. What should I do?

After installing the OS I found that when ever an update comes for any software either it is BBM or any other it gets stuck while reboot. The bar stops at about 60-70 % progress and does not go further. Every time there is an update and after it ask for reboot it hangs itself. I have to pull the battery out every time and then it boots properly.

When I turn on my Blackberry (Bold 9700) you get the screen where it shows the whitebar where the phone is loading....I get about 3/4 of the way through and it just stales. View 5 Replies View RelatedLast night i went to sleep with my blackberry turned on with full battery, this morning when i woke up no more than 6 hours later my phone was stuck on the start up/ loading screen with the blackberry logo and the loading bar 2/3 the way complete. The phone continues to stay at 2/3 the way finished and will not proceed with the booting up of the smart phone.
I'm not sure how it decided to turn off by itself durring the night, or why it will not boot up correctly. I've tried restarting it by taking out the battery and putting it back in numerous times but it will only load up to about 2/3 the way complete.
I have all my contacts synced with my gmail account and my app data is really not important to me so if there is a way to wipe out the device i would be ok with that option.
I've never dropped the phone, or damaged it in any way so this problem must be something technical. This is the second bold 9700 that i've had in the past 6 months, I havn't even had this phone for a whole month yet. I had to get this phone as a replacement for my original 9700 because of reoccuring technical issues.
In the process of updating my blackberry bold 9930 and it is stuck on social feeds. Won't go beyond 16% progress. When I restart my phone it is automatically in this update.

The phone is currently set on 1XEV network and even so i get two to three bars maximum everywhere i go. In the two days since ive had the phone I haven't had full service anywhere. Im in the New York area and I understand that Sprint's 3G network is extensive so I dont understand why i wouldn't have coverage unless it may be an issue with the headset.
