I have removed the battery AND SIM, I have done EVERYTHING that I can to try to get my phone back however it keeps going to the "Backing up your data" and it is stcuk on 9% and has been for about 10 hours now.
I have a blackberry bold 9780 and my network provider is t-mobile. The signal usually says GPRS but yesterday it changed to GSM. I have taken the battery out and the sim and it still doesn't change back. I have also changed the network selection mode to manual but its still stuck. I can't use the internet and my emails don't come through either.
6.0 software with 2 GB sd card -Now when I open 2 things at the same time like BBM and browser it stuck and I have to shut down my device and restart it again -What can I do to avoid this issue
about a week ago my bb was dropped into a cup of tea (which had sugar and milk in) and i quickly took out the battery and stuck it in a bowl of uncooked rice for a few days. It was working about 2 days ago, except the keyboard was sticky so I turned it off and got some isopropyl alcohol cleaner and followed some instructions on how to open it all up and clean it which i did. Before i cleaned it i turned it on and the loading screen came up, only it gets to about 5 or 10 percent then restarts itself which it then proceeds to do over and over. I have looked into this problem and it seems i need to reinstall the os?
my curve 8520 has froze. when i take battery out and put it bk in the phone start's up as normal then when screen show's it's got a lock sign on it, when i press unlock it wont unlock and stay's the same
Was chatting on my bold 9900 when all of a sudden it just reboots automatically. It stuck at around 80% of reboot on the screen and has not moved. Took the batteries and SIM out, in beginning it was rebooting fine but again stops at the same spot (at around 80%) and has not moved. What should I do?
I am BB 9900 user. Last week I had an update of 7.1 OS. After installing the OS I found that when ever an update comes for any software either it is BBM or any other it gets stuck while reboot. The bar stops at about 60-70 % progress and does not go further. Every time there is an update and after it ask for reboot it hangs itself. I have to pull the battery out every time and then it boots properly.
FB had not updated for days. I cleared the catch, tried to update and it's been stuck 'updating....' for two hours... Tried turning device off, connections off.....no joy.
I bought my bold 9780 used and when i went to set up, email, i instantly got the enterprise activation screen, i just want to set up internet email but cannot exit this screen.
Hoping someone can help me troubleshoot this issue. When I turn on my Blackberry (Bold 9700) you get the screen where it shows the whitebar where the phone is loading....I get about 3/4 of the way through and it just stales. I've tried taking out the battery for several minutes then putting everything back together with no luck....screen still only loads about 3/4 of the way.
Last night i went to sleep with my blackberry turned on with full battery, this morning when i woke up no more than 6 hours later my phone was stuck on the start up/ loading screen with the blackberry logo and the loading bar 2/3 the way complete. The phone continues to stay at 2/3 the way finished and will not proceed with the booting up of the smart phone.
I'm not sure how it decided to turn off by itself durring the night, or why it will not boot up correctly. I've tried restarting it by taking out the battery and putting it back in numerous times but it will only load up to about 2/3 the way complete.
I have all my contacts synced with my gmail account and my app data is really not important to me so if there is a way to wipe out the device i would be ok with that option.
I've never dropped the phone, or damaged it in any way so this problem must be something technical. This is the second bold 9700 that i've had in the past 6 months, I havn't even had this phone for a whole month yet. I had to get this phone as a replacement for my original 9700 because of reoccuring technical issues.
In the process of updating my blackberry bold 9930 and it is stuck on social feeds. Won't go beyond 16% progress. When I restart my phone it is automatically in this update.
On the main display 18 ( SMS and MMS) message count is displayed. However, after reading all messages, the 18 messages icon remains on the main screen . How can I re-set this to 0?
I've only had my bold a couple of months and all has been working great. However I've woken up this morning to find it has rebooted itself and it was stuck on the loading screen about 3/4 loaded. I've done a battery pull twice and it still gets stuck at the same place. Help!
The system seems to be locked on the "Home Screen" (the screen with the picture background). You can hold down the blackberry button and it will bring up a menu where I can read my email and make calls (the trackball works here), but I can't select anything on the home screen, or on the large list of icons.
I have a Bold 9000 and this morning my BB Desktop manager told me that there is a new software update available and recommended (as always) it. I have started the process and as the device was about to restart it indicated software update failure and now my BB is stuck in boot mode and won't go further. What is the solution? I have recon that I will be loosing all my data on it regardless of what I am doing but right now the device won't go pass the booting screen.
My Blackberry 9780 Bold got really wet this afternoon because I was walking in the rain. Now when i start it, it will reboot to about 10% and than start to reboot again, and again. It's stuck in a cycle of reboots. I tried connecting my blackberry whit my pc but the pc couldn't find the blackberry. I had a brand new battery laying around so I put that in but it did nothing.
I have a BlackBerry Bold 9780. Whenever I try swtiching it on it just stays on white screen and at times few vertical lines but usually it's on white screen. All I can do is lock and unlock the device. I tried wiping off data and install new OS and updating the OS but no use. When I reinstall a new OS I hear some music. When ever I press the voice command button on left side I hear it telling 'say a command'.What is the problem and how to get my BlackBerry up and running ?
When I woke up this morning I went to check out my Bold 9700 and it was stuck in the loading bar at the initializing screen.I took off the battery, tried to perform a format but none of these options worked.
Any hints or steps I could follow for fixing my device?
I have a second hand blackberry bold 900. When I go on to the browser it only brings up "hotspot browser" . I have tried to change the settings but there are no other options in the menu. Perhaps the other owner had restricitons. Should I reload my blackberry with software or what else can I do?
Last night the Icon to make the OS upgrade of my Bold 9930 appeared on my cellphone menu panel and I did it. My current SO is the 7 and it said was going to upgrade to the 7.1 version. After it downloaded the 50 Mb file, it started to Backing Up the Data and since then, 6 or 8 hours ago, it is STUCK on the Social Feeds (3%). I wish I hadn't made the stupid upgrade. My cellphone is indispensable to do my job, now I'm also STUCK. I'm trying the update with the BB connected to my Laptop using the Blackberry Device Software, but it is STUCK too.
My phone has been stuck on the update screen for 6 hours and its stayed at 11%. I need my phone and have tried turning it off and taking the battery out, even plugging it into my pc, but nothing is working.
I plugged my 9790 into my PC to sync with desktop manager and was offered a software upgrade first. Desktop Manager loaded new software ok. The Device Software update started and the back up went fine. Software seemed to download ok but is now stuck during the install at 'Reconnecting to JVM'. It has been like this for hours. The screen of the 9790 shows the clock although a reminder message came up which I cancelled - now back to the clock. The text in the update window says that the device must not be disconnected during the update process as it might render it unusable.
I have a user who told me the date on his blackberry suddenly turned to 2045.(i dont know how it can suddenly change the date by itself but apparently it has)His secetary set the time back to 2012 and correct time but all his emails are now set to 2045. All his new emails are coming in with the correct time stamp, but the anything past a few days shoes 2045.The blackeberry is set up on a Bes server with exchange 2010.I have spoken to blackberry support and the techguys said that nothing can be done to resolve it, and that the only option I have is to wipe the phone, delete the account and set it up again.I have also removed the desktop cmime service from the phone and reinstalled it but it did not make a difference.I just find it bizare that the BB would change the time stamp on the emails when the time changed to 4045 but when I change the time now all the previous emails wont change their timestamp.Any ideas onhow to get the emails to go back to the original time frame they were in with out having to wipe the phone, My user does not want to lose the emails.
It is very strange - the phone blocked and was unresponsive for some time, then I restarted it and it is stuck on the restart loading screen (the black screen with bb logo and the progress bar). If I wait 15 mins it goes to the next white screen with the bb logo but never manages to go any further even after 2 hours waiting.
I tried hard reset(battery pull), then I tried wiping it with JL cmder but it can't connect to the device because it is not loaded. Then I tried the desktop manager to update and install a new os but it just doesn't find any os although I have 2 os versions for bb 9780 installed on my pc.
I'm using Bold 9790 and I tried to update my OS from 7.0 to 7.1. Before that, I backed my phone up. I faced the smart card error thing but i got though that. Afterwards, I tried to update the OS and the DM prompted me to back my phone up again. And I complied. But then, as it was backing up, it got stuck. How should I get over this issue?
