Spanish Vodafone changed my BB 3 times, 2 9800 and now I have the 9900 but the follwing problem is not solved:When outside of Spain, BBM and emails should work with a WiFi connection, with data roaming disabled. It does not work on the above mentioned BB`s. Wifi itself works fine abroad and there are no problems in Spain. If I change the sim card into my Storm 2, all works fine abroad.
View 3 RepliesI was traveling in Germany and Italy, and I made sure to set "Data Services While Roaming" to "Off." However, I still did incur data roaming charges. They are really small-- like 15KB/day, but it's nonetheless annoying that my Blackberry Bold 9700 is using data even though I turned it off. I use AT&T. Does anyone know why?

View 7 Replies View RelatedSo my boss tossed his phone at me chewing me out because it "doesn't work". I cycle the power and ask what's wrong, his phone will display that a new email has arrived it will download and it will read but once it is read the email disappears never to be found on the phone again. The message is still usable on the computer but for the phone it's 1 and done. I checked out the email options on both the computer and the phone and there's no auto archive to a pst or anything. I really don't want to reset to default because I'm sure there's "important" stuff on the phone that will lead to working over the weekend. The phone also will display missed calls (legit missed calls) but won't show who or when the call was missed.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am with Rogers and I started with the Curve-an awesome phone with no issues- then I bought the Playbook and it wasn't able to bridge so I upgraded to the Torch in August. The phone was such a pain, everytime I talked on it it would hit the speakerphone, so I gave it to my daughter a few months ago and bought the New Bold 9900 because I heard it was much better. So wrong. I am on my second Bold phone because it heats up and the battery doesn't last long at all.
Now I have had it freeze when I am typing, turning it on, scrolling, etc. It has now started erasing my emails on me, which I need for work and have now lost!!!! It randomly puts up this RIM error message. Rogers says it needs a task killer but I have no clue. I have bought Blackberry hones and Playbooks for my family and have been a loyal Blackberry user- laughing at my father and his inferior fruit phone and pad but I am starting to wonder. Is there something I can do
All my emails and text messages call logs get deleted after 30 days. however the SMSs stay forever. It was happening to me on OS7, I upgraded to OS 7.1 and its still the same.I tried the following,1. Setting the keep messages option in Messages > Options > message display to 'forever' , 180 days , 90 days etc.2. Battery pull for quite number of times3. Installed newer build of the OS.

I already had problems with the blackberry charging pod, but that seemed to be a mechanical problem with the pod. It is poorly designed and the contacts are simply not properly connected.Now I have a charging problem with my new BMW snap-in adapter. The Blackberry is not charged. The contacts of the adapter fit well (contacts of the device are connected to the contacts of the adapter) and they are clean, the adapter delivers the correct 5 volts, but nothing happens.

A note comes up stating that my Mac, running 10.5.8 needs, to be ungraded yet I was able to make it all work the first time I synced the phone last weekend but not since I also have no service books - my provider has not sent them 4 times but none arriving. Means I can receive emails but with no send button, can not reply.

Our mobile signal is extremely limited since we're out in the country so wifi is essential here.On my 9700, wifi worked perfectly with all applications but that doesn't appear to be the case with the bold 9900. Several apps are extremely slow or don't work at all. I think the reason for this is the 9900 isn't using wifi for some apps. I believe some apps are using wifi such as the browser and facebook but app world, google maps, scoremobile, whatsapp and tunein radio to name a few don't appear to be using wifi at all.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have tried everything I know to make email work. Data is on and I can connect to the Internet and use the browser. But email says cannot connect to server on sending and sent email is not received.
Exchange server does not work. Gmail does not work.
If I can connect to a WiFi, then email works. But without WiFi, email does not work at all.
yesterday my phone switches off automatically at battery level 15, and today at battery level 25 the phone switches off again... Then at the moment I plug my charger cable into my phone (at battery level 15) it reboots and after the reboot the touchscreen no longer works. Then I upgraded Whatsapp and rebooted my phone again to see if it is fixed, but it still isn't the touchscreen simply doesn't work... It doesn't respond when I press on screen icon or scroll or whatever I do.

I am a vodafone greece consumer with a full 12 monts programme for my bb.when i got the bb the bbm and email didnt work. i was only able to make my profile for bbm and for the mail it doesnt have the option for a personal email account only the enterprise.I went to the vodafone store and i asked about the bbm internet service. They opened that for me and i have BIS too. i thought that would solve my problems but nothing. Still nothing works. I register the GPRS bla bla bla many times. I receive a msg that tells me that im registered to tte wifi network but nothing again. Ofcourse i made the batt trick many times.
