Google Nexus 6 :: POP3 Email - How To CC Myself On Replies
Apr 9, 2015Even though the N6 is my personal mobile; when I'm out & about it's handy to have my business emails coming in to me so I can reply to them where necessary so I've set this up and it's been great on days like this where I've decided to have a day out of the office etc...
Anyway; on my Note 4 I can set in the settings it so that every email I reply to; it'll 'CC' me in on the reply. However, I cannot find this option on the N6.

Apr 19, 2012I have my work email set up as my default email account on my 4S. I can receive emails fine but when I reply the receiver gets the reply from my gmail account. I don't even have gmail set up on my iPhone!

BB Bold 9700 :: Carrier Name Showing Up As Garbled Text
Jan 11, 2010For my 9700 the carrier (China Mobile) shows up as @QhtY(triagle)(three horizontal lines).Anyone have any ideas? The SIM cards of other carriers show up perfectly fine. Reboots and battery pulls don't do anything. I've ungraded multiple OS's as well and the problem still persists.

Jan 6, 2010I am now moving my email service to Gmail and plan to connect it to my BB Tour using the Google Sync service. My Gmail account handles 2 email addresses- one Gmail address for personal, and a second address for business that uses a private domain hosted by GoDaddy. When I am at my PC creating new emails the Gmail service gives me the option to designate which "From" address is used for each new email. When I am at my PC replying to emails the Gmail service automatically designates the "From" address to match the address that was used to send the email to me. Can I have similar functionality when sending new emails or replying to emails from by BB? If yes, in whole or in part, then how do I do it?

Apr 3, 2015I set up the corporate email app when I first got my droid turbo 4 weeks ago. I used the same settings that I did with my RAZR MAXX HD. initially replies were sent correctly but after about a week they became jammed up in the Outbox. I had to delete the account and started again but this time it only worked for 2 days.

Sep 21, 2011I've searched here and not seen anyone else with the same problem, but Google is full of them.
Basically, if I create a new message it will send from my WiFi only Xoom via my Exchange account. However, if I reply to a message it just sits in the Outbox forever.
POP3 is fine.
It was fine before I upgraded to 3.1, and my HTC Desire running 2.2 works fine too.

Jan 17, 2010So I sent a text to somebody and then I checked back at the message center and it has this little icon that resembles a cell phone. I was a little puzzled yet intrigued.I tried to google it and nothing came up. Also when I checked bbm on that person that I sent the text to, the icon appeared again. Its just a verticle rectangle with a white box in the top of portion of the man rectangle. Again the icon looks like a cellphone.

Mar 18, 2012Occasionally when I receive incoming calls the connection is terrible, the callers voice is garbled and choppy beyond recognition and the caller hears the same on the other end. I think the problem is that the voice signal is not being decoded correctly. It happens randomly at least once per day.

Sep 25, 2011I was using MissingSync from Mark/Space with my previous Android phone all right.Now I tried to get some new contact groups and new contacts to sync between Mac (10.6) and Defy ... but the new group did not sync, and newly added contacts on the defy did not sync back to the mac.So I looked around and found SyncMate from Eltima. Looked good, especially as it syncs free Contacts and iCal native.iCal sync works fine ... after some good syncs in Contacts, strane things happen:On the Defy, in the menu there is a button Hide/Show - when I press it, Contacts application closes (no error msg).Then, all groups are gone. I cannot create a new group. Grops are not synced from the Mac to the Defy.When you open the groups drop down list, there are the buttons:
- create a new group
- all contacts
- service dialign numbers
- Favorites
- .. the various groups ... (that are gone)
- and below, I cannot recall exactly, a "Contacts" or "My Contacts" voice, with an android/phone device as symbol.gone that too.So, is the Contacts application data corrupt?I the application itself corrupt?Did syncmate tamper with date and/or application?
Google Nexus 5 :: Screen Garbled After Bootloader Flash
Jul 10, 2015I downloaded the Android M preview 2 and while flashing the bootloader with:
fastboot flash bootloader bootloader-hammerhead-HHZ12h.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
after the reboot the only thing my screen ever displays is garbled colored pixels even after pulling the battery. Fastboot still works just fine, so I tried wiping everything and reflashing but it still never shows anything but this screen. I even tried reflashing older versions of the bootloader and nothing works.

BB Bold 9700 :: Weird Ring Tone / Alert Situation - Changes As Soon As Take Out From Holster From Set To Default Tone
Jun 14, 2010So the 'Normal' profile of my 9700 (Phone) is set up to play ALWAYS simply because it is on my desk in the office, it is not in the holster, and I want to hear when it rings.
I also have a ring tone that I downloaded (not the default).I noticed that when the phone is in the holster and it rings, as soon as I take it out from the holster the ring tonne changes from the one I set up to the default AT&T ring tone.
Motorola Droid Turbo :: Garbled / Robotic Sound With Bluetooth
Aug 5, 2015I had a Razr Maxx for a couple years and never had problems with my bluetooth in my car. I upgraded to a Motorola Droid Turbo in June. The bluetooth paired up with my car, no problem, and worked fine for about a week. Unfortunately, something happened and now the sound of the person I'm talking to is garbled, underwater, robotic...whatever you want to call it. I can hear them. The volume is fine. They can hear me fine with no problems. It's just that the incoming sound is messed up. I've taken it to my local dealership/mechanic and they tested it with multiple other phones (iphones, other androids like Samsung and such) and it works just fine.

Jun 3, 2014I can't receive group texts from one of my contacts. Regular texting works fine, I just can't see her replies in group messaging. She can see mine. Already checked settings and everything there is normal. Group messaging is on, so is iMessage.

I can send a group text but the replies come individually. Which sucks because i dont know who is in the group.

Jun 9, 2012I'm having an issue with text messaging - when I receive a reply to a text and have the text app open in the conversation with the person that is replying, the reply does not show up. The notification sound goes off, and a number shows up in the top left corner, in the messages icon, as if I received a text from a different person. If I click messages and go back, it will be there when I re-enter the message. This happens with both iMessages and regular text messages. Is there any way to adjust this setting so that it will appear in the conversation if it's opened?

Jun 10, 2012my iPhone Mail as well as the Mail app on my Macbook have been showing replies in the inbox from Gmail. For instance, I will receive an email from someone and it will show up fine, then when I reply, my sent message will show up in the thread.
This has started about 2 days ago and is making it tough to manage my mail. I am running the newest version of the iPhone software and Mountain Lion on the Macbook.
