I have 30 users all with brand new Lumia 800's. We have found the option to set an Outlook "Out of Office" message or automatic reply is missing. From what I have managed to ascertain this should be an option in the Outlook settings below the Synchronisation Settings bar.

I'm in the U.K with T-Mobile and switched from a Nokia 5530 which had the auto time option. No idea why I can't access it on this phone?
I have Lumia 920 sim free and I have to set the time and date manually? how it can be done automatically?

Im trying to sync my phone with outlook 2003 but the sync calender option is greyed out.
i checked the settings and i got sync with outlook selected.i also keep getting errors when trying to sync my contactsi didnt write down the error code but ill try again tomorrow and write it down.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI took the plunge with my first Blackberry (Curve 8530) last month. I'm curious as to why there's no option to have the map automatically scroll while driving? I'm currently using a combination of Blackberry Maps and Google Maps. I can get directions or view the route on the map, but some form of a turn-by-turn feature would be nice (kind of expected to be honest). Am I missing something? I know there are other options re: GPS software for the Blackberry but I've either found those options to be somewhat buggy/non-intuitive OR they are fee-based (TeleNav, Garmin, etc). If I'm going to pay $, I can easily score a dedicated in-car GPS device for <$70.

View 4 Replies View RelatedLike all I see I also bought a windows 800 on the basis that all our team of 50 would change from Iphones to windows so we could sync with our outlook which is not server based but we each run our own outlook folders but no there is no outlook sync. Yes you can copy to the live account and then use that as your main calendar but who wants to do that?
I asked and was told specifically that it would sync with outlook so the Carephone Warehouse guy either lied or did not know his stuff ( I know what my guess is!) Amazingly my wife's samsung galaxy using Android does sync.

A prompt came up (can't remember the exact wording) saying there was a problem with two buttons. One button was to uninstall and the other was to take you to the store entry for this item. The text of the prompt suggested going to the store and trying to install again. If that failed it indicated to select uninstall and then reinstall the 'app' (really a setting option). If I picked the store button the only option I had was to share this app. So I went back to settings and selected the uninstall button. But now I can't find the 'feedback to nokia' when searching the store. So I was wondering how I can reinstall this item under settings.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI purchase the lumia 900 and overall I'm very happy with it. My suggestion is to make an option in the settings under keyboard for 'show emoticon key'. Most people don't use/need 50 smiley face options, and I'm perfectly fine with typing : and ) every once in awhile when necessary.I'm left handed, and use my left thumb to hit the space bar when texting/emailing. About 50% of the time i accidentally hit the emoticon key and start typing all sorts of smiley faces, then have to hit the backspace key. I lose about 5-10 seconds every text message.

There's no "Original size" and the entire "Videos" section is missing.I've made sure my wifi is set up and working, and my skydrive is all operational - when I "sake to skydrive" from the photo app, that uploads fullsize no problem.
In the Lumia, if I receive an email with an attachement and then I reply to it, it actually causes the original message and attachment disappear.

My Lumia 610 doesn't display notification (unread messages) for outlook when the screen is locked. However it does display the notification such as missed calls, text messages, face book messages, Gmails, Yahoo emails, Windows live emails. But nothing for Outlook.

I changed the time 5 minutes back, and I turned on the automatic setting. I have data and location on. I checked an hour later, my time is still off the Microsoft server time with 5 minutes. Nothing happens.

I want to sync my BB 9700 with Outlook calendar and contacts. However, when I try to set up the sync in the Desktop Manager, the only sync options I get are <none>, ASCII Importer/Exporter, and Yahoo. I do not get an option to sync with Outlook. I had no problem before. I have the newest version of the BB desktop software.
