BB Bold :: Device Will NOT Sync To Pc?
Sep 19, 2012I have downloaded the blackberry desktop software and system will not sync with my 9780.I have tried everything and can not get the two to pair.

BB Bold 9000 :: When Try To Sync There Is No Device And PIN Number Showing On Device Mgr?
Apr 21, 2010Desktop mgr 5.0.1.37.When I connect (via USB) the connection appears to be recognised - clock appears on BB and PC beeps. After a few minutes PC & BB icons appear on BB screen but no interconnecting arrows. When I try to sync there is no device and PIN number showing on Device Mgr so it doesn't sync. Then the Desktop Mgr greys out and appears to freeze - I then have to disconnect the BB to unfreeze.
Device manager shows two RIM virtual serial ports v2 Com 3 & Com 4. If I try to update the drivers it says most up to date are loaded although the drivers are dated 24 Nov 2008 and are version 2.2.0.3 and appear to be called RimSerial_AMD64.sys (I'm using Intel i7 processor).
Devices & Printers screen shows a RIM Composite Device icon.
Windows in Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
BB Bold :: Device Password For Blackberry Bold To Sync
Aug 25, 2011I am having a problem downloading media onto my blackberry bold 9780. I have successfuly installed the CD that comes with the blackberry and the USB cable goes in fine to my blackberry. But then in the last step, it asks for my blackberry password. I believed this to be the 4 digit pin I use to lock my phone, but this failed. I tried other passwords that I use for other various things but it didn't work, and it wiped everything off my phone. After contacting my service provider (o2) they suggested I try changing my 4 digit pin because this is definitely the password it requires. I changed it, but again it didn't work. I was wondering if someone could tell me which password the blackberry needs so I can start putting music onto my blackberry?

Jul 9, 2010Running Vista and using Outlook 97. Used to only be able to sync tasks and memos. Problem in syncing contacts was described in error message that adress book was configured to sync wirelessly. After making sure I'd changed the settings still had problem. The problem with the address book and task non-sync seems to have been fixed after upgrade to newest BB Desktop. However, my device calendar still does not sync with my Outlook.

After experiencing some problems I decided to start from cero and deleted all contacts of my yahoo address book. I then synchronized with the Blackberry desktop manager (arrow pointing out in both directions) and loaded all data from the device (address book) to yahoo.
When I do changes using my PC directly in yahoo and then sync with device all works apparently OK, e.g. if I modify a name adding a surname that will be synchronized correctly in the device, however the changes I do in an existing record in my device with the sync won't be done in yahoo.
What shall I do to have all changes done to my device's adress book in the yahoo account.

Jul 29, 2010Unit: Bold 9700. I run an HP P8600 Windows XP_SP3. All syncs including Media have worked fine...until now. Media Sync has instead, sunk. Have so far done this: Removed and reloaded DM. Removed and reloaded Media Sync (2x). Tried numerous usb ports and swapping usb cables (both original bb). Cleared check boxes from Power Management from usb root hub thingies, many Windows restarts, many battery pulls, ran calfix.exe. Media card is fine and mass storage is turned on. When BB connects, should it appear as a removable drive in My Computer? This is not happening. Problem is only with Media Sync.

what the hell, it's too much!! is there a way to remove at least one of them from the list? I know that it's possible to remove "USB debugging connected" but if I disable it the HTC Sync manager does not recognize my device until I enable it.
IPhone :: UN-sync A Device From All Libraries?
Mar 18, 2012We have purchased a new computer and have relocated our entire music collection onto it, however we can no longer drag and drop music onto our iPhones at will. Two phones were used with the library and we've previously had no issued with dragging and dropping onto everything, however even though they both have the 'manually manage music and videos' boxes ticked we can't do this any more. When dragging and dropping, the cursor turns into the red circle and the file is not transferred.
I have tried disabling the automatic syncing features on the phones so that it stops interfering with manually trasnerring files, but it gives us the error message 'all existing apps /music and their data will be removed' which is far from ideal.
How do we enable the manual file sharing without having to delete everything from the phone? I'd ideally like the two phones to not be synced with any library so that we can freely connect them to any itunes on any computer and drag and drop the files we need, since there are multiple computers in this house and only being able to use them with one of them is a huge inconvenience. Mainly though I would like the ability to drag and drop files to be restored.
