I just got my Bold 9900 a week ago.. and for some reason when i try to take a picture it wont save on the device ..or when it does it gets this black image.. i can record a video but when it comes to pictures it just dont work..!!! I tried sending a picture directly through bbm (BLACKBERRY BUTTON - SEND- PICTURE - CAMERA- SEND)

I've updated my BBM to version 6.0.0.129 and since then I am unable to send pictures using BBM to BBM contacts.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI accidentally deleted some pictures from my phone. I downloaded a software1 (not permitted to disclose the software) to recover my deleted pictures. However I could not recover them as this software was not free. I then downloaded blackberry desktop software and backed up everything. When I downloaded ZAR 9.1 it showed my memory card as being emptied. I then tried the software1 and it showed my memory card being emptied as well. I would like to learn how I can recover these pictures.

I have it set to save to my SD card, it shows on the phone but not on my SD card even if I search by file name. I've done the searches from my internal and SD card on all folders not just DCIM. Pictures taken automatically start with the year & date so I first did a search with the actual filename 20150423_101014 of a picture I just took-no results. Then I did a search for everything that starts with 2015, only the ones prior to this issue showed up (as I said before this is a search on all folders internal & SD card) I recently brought my phone to the Sprint store because my phone would not install Android 5.0, they did a reset on it and since I got it back it's been like this (they couldn't figure that out so I still have Android 4.4.2). I have the LS990 variant.This makes zero sense to me, it has to be saved on the phone somewhere doesn't it?

My Blackberry rebooted (to delete an app) and now all the files on the media card aren't available through the media shortcuts.I was able to get the music files to appear by using "Explore", finding each file and opening each song individually.Only then did they appear in my player.I am unable to get my pictures to display.I can see them when I "explore" but not through the pictures shortcut.Why isn't my device set up to read media files automatically from the media card? I am unable to view the pictures that I have on my SD card, but whenever I connect my phone to the computer or insert the SD card into the computer I can see all of the photos that I have saved on my SD card. View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I took pictures on my iPhone 3GS while on iOS 5.1 and rotate perfectly fine after importing using Windows Explorer. I updatedf my phone a couple days ago to iOS 5.1.1 and tried importing but now getting a error through Windows saying "You cannot rotate this image. The file might be in use or open in another program, or the file or folder might be read only".
No other programs are open, photo and folder properties are set correctly, admin user account, tried disconnecting my iPhone and restarting the computer but still unable to rotate or save it. I also tried right clicking the photo and chose "Open With" and selected PictureViewer and also under Windows Photo Viewier. In these programs it will rotate but will not save. I also deleting the photos and reimported again but still have the same problem.

I accidentally hidden a picture and i know you have to go to your media folder and click the menu button and you have to click explore, but my explore button has disappeared. i dont know how to see my hidden pictures..i have rebooted my phone and it still hasnt showed up.

Last night I connected my BB throught the usb to transfer some pictures to the laptop but was only able to see a preview of my first few pictures(jpg) and the latest ones (jpg rem) were unable to be previewed, so was unable to transfer! Not changed any thing on camera options so at a lost to why they have changed!

I read somewhere the other day that it maybe because ive synced my phone to something which i have done which is facebook but i went into settings - accounts & sync settings - manage accounts and removed the sync and its still not working. However i have bin getting a error msg saying someting about my password being incorrect for googlemail but i thinks its because i accidentally tried logging into it instead of just my normal email but when i try and remove the sync it says that "This account is required by some applications. You can only remove it by resetting the phone to factory defaults(which deletes all your personal data). You do that in the settings application, under privacy." Which i dont want to have to do unless its the last resort
