In Options-->Device-->Smart Accessories, in the "Simple Charger" profile I set the "Start Application" option to an application of my choosing and it works great. When I charge with the USB charger in my car, the app launches. However, as soon as I restart my phone, that option resets back to "TeleNav GPS Navigator."
Any advice on how to get my selection to stick after restarts?
I am unable to backup Blackberry Bold 9900. The Backup at Smart Card Option takes a long time to complete. I tried all possible solutions that I was able to find on a generic google search.

Just bought a new Bold 9700. I've run every kind of update possible. BlackBerry Maps IS loaded (v5.0.0). The operating system is the latest. I can see BlackBerry Maps in the add-on applications, yet there's no icon to start the application. The vendor is utterly useless when it comes to helping resolve the issue. The GPS seems to work and gives the correct location data, yet I can't find a means to start the BlackBerry Maps application.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI usually use smart connect and NFC tag to fully silent my phone at night time (no vibrate or sound), yet the only option in smart connect is sound, vibrate and priority, and priority mode vibrates. I realise I can now change to full silent mode from the lock screen with the volume button, but i thought it would be an option to put into smart connect as a selection.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter the 5.0 update, I went to add my Moto 360 as a trusted device and when I went to the Smart Lock menu option under Security settings I was surprised that there wasn't a Smart Lock menu option in there.
This is right out of the release notes from motorola: "Android Lollipop adds native support for allowing trusted devices to keep your phone unlocked (such as your Moto 360, a Bluetooth car kit or headset, etc.). Smart Lock replaces the prior trusted device capability in your Motorola phone. Note that you will need to add your trusted devices back after the transition to Lollipop in the Security settings menu under Smart Lock."
Noticed this option missing when your Moto X 2014 was upgraded to Lollipop.
I buy the blackberry bold 9900 mobile and after 1 month when i use the camera it showing the error message could not start the camera close other application and try opening the camera again i remove the battery from the mobile and restart so many time and i not able to capture the picture . and also update the software.

I was able to in the past however in error I did something and now it cant pair.Although it is showing "pair new devices but each time I put the password in it says: cant pair. However, now with the news of OS6 coming out as well as the Curve 3G, will the 8530 even be available in October? I am concerned that, like on my Ipod touch, some apps may not work with OS5 anymore as the new system update comes around. Is this a valid concern?I love what the 8530 offers and the price but will it be obsolete right after I pick it up?

I tried accessing the the BlackBerry Device Manager and it says 'The application has failed to start because XmlLite.dll was not found. Re-Installing the application may fix this problem.' - Of which I have done twice already. Is there a problem with this version of Desktop manager or any resolutions to fix this? I'm trying to upgrade my device to OS6.

Once the internal storage was awfully full and came a notification that said "75% full, transfer data to sd card" tried it like always but this time it fails to start. Any ideas on what to do. there is no fix for this error any where on the web and have only read of it happening to two different people.
Since large update last week the option icon has disappeared from the desktop screen.When I try to access options via the bb menu it does not respond and takes me back to the home screen.
