Nokia Accessories :: E52 Does Not Have Option To Delete Existing Devices
Feb 13, 2012
I have a hands free called plantronics.I cant pair it to my Nokia E52. I was able to in the past however in error I did something and now it cant pair.Although it is showing "pair new devices but each time I put the password in it says: cant pair. The Nokia E52 does not have the option to delete existing devices.
i have just got the nokia bh 112 bluetooth to use with my work and personal mobile at the same time, but for reasons i cannot find them neither mobile finds the device.
transferring data through Bluetooth from other devices to blackberry even though the two devices are paired. when doing the transfer from the blackberry to the other devices, it works but not the other way round?
I'm having problems accessing any websites at all.I'm on the 3 network and can access all of their own free to browse stuff, but when i try to access social networking or BBC sites or anything else, it shows a message saying 'unable to connect please try again later'.I really don't know what the issue is, and after contacting 3 they aren't filling me with confidence that they know either. Also i do not have the option of adding my existing gmail account to my blackberry.
Someone stole my blackberry last friday so I want to completely delete my email account so that who ever has it can not use that account and in turn i will just have to create a new one..
After updating software to version 031.023, I now have the following apps on my E72 that are no longer required:
Psiloc World Traveller Adv. Comm. Manager Smart Connect Vlingo PTT
I do not require these but I do not have the option to delete them - all I can do for now is move them to a new folder which I have called 'Unused apps'. Can anyone shed any light on how I can remove these apps and therefore free up more memory.
I just bought nokia 6303i classic and i am surprised to see that there is no option to mark/ markall messages in inbox or sent items. If i want to deleted mulitple.
In Options-->Device-->Smart Accessories, in the "Simple Charger" profile I set the "Start Application" option to an application of my choosing and it works great. When I charge with the USB charger in my car, the app launches. However, as soon as I restart my phone, that option resets back to "TeleNav GPS Navigator."
Any advice on how to get my selection to stick after restarts?
For storage reasons, i want to delete photos from my iPhone 5 but, if I read the instructions correctly, it will also lose photos from my other devices.Â
I Simply want them off my phone.Â
TUrning off iCloud won't do it as, when it is turned back on, it will delete photos from other devices.Â
I would like to put in some new maps (for another country) on my N95 8GB as I have done several times before, but it looks like I can't do it the way as I have done before. As I remember I previously did it by choosing maps in Nokia PC Suite which sent me to a map download program. Now it just sends me to a ovi-map website that says "Navigation on your Nokia is now free".But how do I load a new map into my existing map software on my N95 8GB?Is it possible in some way to get free navigation working on N95 8GB?
Had trouble uninstalling Nobex Radio Companion it required restart of phone to complete uninstall which i did but on restart phone would not start.Removed/refitted battery and started ok but i now have 3 new apps which i cant delete - virgin music sync,bubblebash2,and gameloft which i did not download and if i press menu for each item there is no option to delete/uninstall.When i connected phone to computer and checked with desktop software the apps dont show up.
I erased my phone and copied my contacts via email but when I checked my contacts there is no delete option and also if I type any name it doesn't search that contact as that contact is already in my contacts
My N900 was failing to detect the PR1.2 upgrade over the air so I installed the latest versions of Nokia PC Suite and NSU and tried to do an upgrade that way. The new upgrade wasn't detected but NSU offered to allow me to reinstall the existing firmware which is Version 1.2009.42-11.205.1 so I did that and it appeared to do so successfully. N.B.
I now have a phone which doesn't detect the SIM and (even though the drivers appear to be correctly installed) PC Suite and NSU can't detect the phone via USB in PC Suite mode. I can still connect to the hard disk in USB Mass Storage mode and the general phone functions seem ok. What's my next step to get my phone back to a useful state and what did I or NSU do wrong? I would have been confident of using the flasher until NSU messed up my phone.
I have a very frustrating problem with my pre-loaded OVI Maps on my n900. At first I was kinda **bleep** off, because I was not able to install the pre-loaded maps at all,but after some digging in the forums I found a way to do it and to my surprise, after I installed them, my phone is still searching for an internet connection to connect to and if I don't select one,my gps programme (ovi maps) simply refuses to get a lock or anything. I thought the whole point of pre-loading the maps was to "save on internet traffic" but I guess either I got that wrong,or I'm doing something wrong.
I am having 8530 with OS 5, i am selecting option delete email from handheld and mailbox but mails are still reflecting in mailbox, i tried every possible permutation and combination in email--->options--->email settings and email reconciliation.
I dont understand why the option above is not included. I think it makes sense, even i can decide by myself if holding or deleting messages/eMails :-/ Â
I keep running out of space on my iphone 5 because there is a bunch of video content on there that I can't get rid of. I imported these videos into iPhoto sometime ago, however I think I probably didn't select to delete them once imported at the time. I've deleted all of the images and vids from the camera roll section however, but the videos are still on the phone under "Videos" where I can view them and select them, but it gives no option to delete them.Â
Any work around that doesn't involve restoring the device.Â
I am experiencing strange behavior of E72 contacts application. My contacts are synchronizes via Exchange (as is email, calendar and tasks). When I enter Contacts and seach for a specific name (starting H today, but it was a different letter) no contact is found when in fact this contact exists and I can find it by scrolling thru all contacts.I find that restarting the phone solves the problem for a while.
After installing Nokia messaging on my Nokia 5230 phone, I'm trying to setup a gmail account, After giving the username and password, It says contacting email-server but nothing happens. Its an endless wait. But somtimes it pops up a message saying that I have exceeded the maximum number of connections terminate existing connection.
