So my 9900 had some charge (about 30%) so I plugged it in to charge it over night, and left it.When my alarm didn't go in the morning, I went over to it and it wouldn't turn on.I unplugged it from the charger and performed a battery pull. The red light came on, and that was it.

I have read about flashing red lights online with the Bold 9900, but mine just stays on.
I recently upgraded my OS from 4.6 to 5.0 and everything is going well except, I don't know why my Bold 9000's screen light will NOT turn off while it is in it's cradle charging. I must be messing up on a certain setting It used to turn off for the night while charging.

I used to have a Bold about 6 months ago, then switched phones, and I'm now back on the Bold. I could've sworn when I had the Bold last time, that there was a red LED ON when I charged the phone. Now I don't see it.
Was I just imagining things? Or maybe it was a different OS version? I'm on 4.6. (I think when I was on the Bold last time, I was on OS 5.0.
I was having some issues with my 9900, mainly the touch screen wasn't working. Since I couldn't really use the phone, I left if for a week and know it will not charge.. The phone's red light will not turn on when plugging in and another battery did not work. When you plug it in, the battery charging indicator in the middle of the screen will comeoup showing charging, but after 2 mins the icon disappears and the screen goes black. I have also tried connecting it withhout the battery to the desk top manager to update the software, but it says it cannot connect to device .

They both have a charge light that stays on when charging and goes off when charging is complete. I've notice that with the Icon the light never goes out when the phone is fully charged. When I charge my 822 the light goes out when it's fully charged.

I unplugged and plugged back in which made the clock pop up so I know it connected right. But its still not charging. I turned the charging indicator led on with berrybuzz and the light didn't turn on when I plugged it in.
Meterberry says the temp is 111 degrees. I don't know what the 'normal' ranges are. I'm still under my 30day warranty so do I take it back? Is anyone else having this problem? Its done this before and it eventually charges but something is going on....
the red charging light that comes on when charging phone has now started to stay on even when not charging and the phone heats up when using it and battery seems to be draining fast im to scared to charge phone up incase i fry it.

After a while the white screen with the nokia sign appears for few seconds and then shuts off automatically and the charging light comes off. When i tried to use the power button it doesn't turn on. The feature i miss the most from my droid 2 days is the little indicator light to know that the phone is charging... I realize that light was left off this phone and moved to the caps lock key. But wondering if there was a way of turning in the indicator light when the phone is charging like when i get a notification that i have a text message. My Wifes incredible 2 indiciator light turns red when it is charging and i beleive turns white when it is finished. Its just a lot easier for me to look at my phone and see it is charging vs having to unlock my phone to see if it is charging or see it on the lock screen. Sometimes my charges becomes unplugged and i was always quick to know with the droid 2 that it had happend. vs waking up the next morning with my droid 4 thinking it was charging and nothing all along. Is there a feature i'm missing or is it possible to have this in an upcoming update?

I accidently turn the BlackBerry on so I quickly turn it off to let it continue charging. But when I turn it off, the orange blink wasn't blinking anymore so I unplug the charger and plug it back in quickly.
My question is: will this affect the battery length when I actually use the phone because I unplugged it that first charge?
