When I plug in to computer with battery or without it just stays solid red . I don't have desktop manager btw.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen trying to charge my Storm2, I get a red light for 15 seconds, then a blank screen for 10 seconds, then a gray screen with a battery icon in the middle with a Z on it.I tried using a different charger -- same result. The battery seems to be seated fully, contacts look good, cover is tight. I read "The battery is not charging" section of the User Guide and I still don't know what the problem is. Has anyone had this same problem? I'm using chargers plugged into a 120 volt outlet.A different Storm2 charged just fine using the same outlet.
View 4 Replies View Relatedi bought my bold 9780 yesterday. and i'm work using computer. so i think maybe i can connect my bold to my computer so the battery will always full when i go out. is that okay? i've saw someone post at another forum that i shouldn't connect my bold after battery is full...how the power works in blackberry? i own macbook. and they say i should connect the mac everytime i use it. so the life cycle of the battery won't increase. so the battery will last longer. is it the same with blackberry? (it's the opposite for another brand of notebook which they say will destroy the battery if i connect the power all the time when i use it).
View 9 Replies View Relatedi have collected probably 15 different chargers the last couple of years that I use at various locations to charge my Blackberry, iPhone, and a couple of Samsung Google Nexus Phones. That is every device other than the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and the Torch before that. I get the familiar message "the charging source connected to your blackberry device cannot charge your battery", except when connected to RIM manufactured charger or fortunately the USB port on my laptop. How in the world can every phone other than RIM's Blackberry take a charge from the various power sources without problem. I had the problem to some degree on the Torch, but figured RIM would catch on and get it fixed. Now I have the new Bold 9900 and it does not even work on my trusted 12V car charger. If 4 or 5 different devices work with multiple chargers and the Bold 9900 does not work on any it has to be a RIM and BLACKBERRY problem.Maybe the guys in Waterloo are just totally insulated from the rest of the world and only own BlackBerry phones with Blackberry chargers and believe there is not a problem. At least it appear that way with this charger issue and several other issues, but I won't get deeper into that here?

They both have a charge light that stays on when charging and goes off when charging is complete. I've notice that with the Icon the light never goes out when the phone is fully charged. When I charge my 822 the light goes out when it's fully charged.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI plugged my bb into the wall and for a little bit it was charging fine but then the symbol disappeared. I unplugged and plugged back in which made the clock pop up so I know it connected right. But its still not charging. I turned the charging indicator led on with berrybuzz and the light didn't turn on when I plugged it in.
Meterberry says the temp is 111 degrees. I don't know what the 'normal' ranges are. I'm still under my 30day warranty so do I take it back? Is anyone else having this problem? Its done this before and it eventually charges but something is going on....

I have UK unlocked m7 on kit Kat. Recently on occasions when I plug my phone into charger the phone does not charge. Battery appears to be charging on screen but wall charger does not get warm and percentage does not rise. Happens with whatever charger I use. A day or so later phone charges again. Sent phone back to HTC for this and camera issue. Camera sorted but still charging issue.

When I plugged in the battery charger the battery charging icon appears for about 1 minute and then the screen goes completely dead when the charger is plugged in! Every phone I've had since the mid 90s constantly shows a battery symbol charging throughout the charging process.Is there something wrong with my phone or charger or does the Galaxy S2 not show anything on the screen when charging up?

While the phone is off, When i plug in the charger the "charging battery" indicator and the "Red light" on joystick appear, but within few milliseconds the display goes off (red light remains on) and the charging process restarts. This happens continuously until I unplug the charger. When the charger is plugged while the phone is turned on "Optimized charging" message appears but the "charging indicator" stays on current battery level.

View 1 Replies View RelatedOnly two months old. Battery drained almost all the way down today but caught it before it powered off. Plugged in the wall charger and verified it was charging on the screen but later it somehow shutdown all the way on its own. Unplugged battery and tried charging again and it starts off with the red LED being lit for about 30 seconds, the LED goes out and after about another 30 seconds I usually get a solid white screen with the empty battery icon that has a lightning bolt in blue going accross it. What exactly is this screen supposed to indicate to me? Left it charging for 30 plus minutes and still get no response from any of the buttons on the phone nor will it power on with anything I try.
If I unplug the charger get the red LED again, then a small timer icon spinning, then the Blackberry screen where it appears to be starting up but about 1/4 the way the phone shuts off. Sometimes instead of the white battery charging screen mentioned above I only get a small stripe of white background and the rest of the screen is black. I get essentially the same results using a car charger. Weird, confused, any ideas? Battery fried somehow?
Everytime charging the storm 2, the screen can't be used it, it is not sensitive when I try to touch it, it is happen even the phone is finished charging, I need to take battery off and on to reset everytime to have phone to become normal. How can I fix it?

It wont turn on but it will for a few minutes, then will randomly shut off and blink like 2 times in a row in perfect intervals. After it turns off... it will not come back on no matter what. After a while the white screen with the nokia sign appears for few seconds and then shuts off automatically and the charging light comes off. When i tried to use the power button it doesn't turn on. Also one time it turned on with the white screen with the nokia sign and the battery logo was displayed. The battery was empty. Do you think its the charger fault or something happen to the phone.
