BB Bold :: Not Receiving Emails Since Service Outage
Oct 18, 2011I went to the Sprint store and they reset the service manual. They also said that they can't really do anything about it, that it's a problem with BB (Ugh!!). The RIM site states that the problem is resolved in the US, but I can't seem to get my mail accounts functioning again.

Mar 15, 2012I have the Nokia Lumia 710 (T-Mobile USA). and Today as i was on a filming set being an Assistant Director, i thought pictures would be nice to take and post on facebook for the whole crew to see.
I took about 30 pictures. i went back home and plugged in the phone to Zune. Zune says "Error reading files, disconnect and reconnect, if problem persists contact support" (do not remember the error accuratly as i am still upset but it means the same).
I disconnect/reconnect several times. with nothing. i tried changing dates on both computer and device, still nothing. untill i restarted the device.
this time it syncs fine, it just does NOT sync the NEW pictures and i can only see them on the phone. i delete all and only old pictures (from Zune) untill there was nothing left. now remember Zune does not see the new pictures so they were not selected (and yes i checked sync all in settings).I delete all pictures from Zune (all except new ones that are not even visible), to OPEN CAMERA ROLL ON THE PHONE AND NOT FIND ANY PICTURES LEFT!no USB mass storage (ohhh i can hack it with registry... really, microsoft????)no Arabic support (iOS has native support for all languages and it is NOT market dependent)
I would like to thank you for past Nokia phones and Symbian OS although buggy and updates were merely innovative.but, Microsoft have saved your a$$ from being thrown out of the smartphone market from lack of innovation (no matter how dodgy Android is, i kinda started liking it again after NOW). and Now for me to buy a Nokia device that loses data, ONLY controlled by Zune AND an OS as buggy as my dog **bleep**... that is something unbelievable.
i have left Apple's iOS for you guys, and the iPhone never ever gave me corrupt data messages or lost anything before, i only switched because i am loyal to Nokia and thought of it as an oppurtunity to get back on the Nokia wagon. Do you really want bad word of mouth?
this Mango release is so buggy and incomplete, i cannot even LOCK ORIENTATION, i CANNOT TETHER, so many software-based features are missing. So you compensated the lack of innovation with deeply integrated social networking.that is very good but the phone is unreliable and i am scared to use it again. Battery life is not that great, users are BEGGING for updates like beggers on the street, i would very much like Nokia to completly bankrupt right now. thats how i am upset.
I need someone from Nokia to contact me and show me how to restore those valuable pictures, or i demand compensation.
BB Curve :: Data Service Outage?
May 17, 2011We are not receiving our emails on our Blackberries. We have a Bold & a Curve on Sprint's network. Everything worked fine on Sunday, however yesterday & today we are not getting emails from our company email accounts, the yahoo emails work fine and we are still receiving the emails on our computers. We have spent the last 2 days, on the phone with Sprint, at a Sprint store and on the phone with Go Daddy. No one can figure out what happened

Jan 30, 2012Since a few hours ago my RAZR has gone from 4G to NO data every 30 seconds. Triggering the screen on and off at the same cycle.It took a long time but I've been able to get it to lock now to 3G and it seems stable.I did a power cycle first but that didn't solve it.This is already a replacement RAZR so I really don't want to do full reset.I guess I'll call CS next.I'm in area code 262 it that helps.

Mar 30, 2012Apparently there is a nationwide outage on the Sprint Network. All Iden Nextel devices are working as they should be. Sprint Direct Connect devices are not working. Phone service is fine, however DC is not working.

Nov 16, 2011I've had no data connection all day, only voice and text, but 3G only phones work fine. Called Verizon and they only gave me a refund for no data today, but wouldn't say why or how long. I guess its on there end since they didn't even try to see if my phone was the problem.

BB Bold :: Can't Send Or Receive SMS / Make Or Receive Call?
Oct 22, 2010I have had my Blackberry 9700 since July 2010 with no problem until this past week it has stopped making and receiving phone calls and I can't send or receive SMS. When I try to make a call, it instantly comes up with "Call Failed". I have talked to my carrier (o2) and they too cannot come up with a fix, there is no issue from there part as the sim card works fine on another phone. Strange thing is I can still use the internet on 3G, send and receive emails and my BBM works.
In Manage Connections >> Services Status, it says:
Status: not available
Connection: not connected
Blackberry internet service:
Connection: Mobile network

Jul 18, 2010Heres what I have done so far. I went into the advanced options and changed all prowser push settings to allow. The box was unchecked when I first went in. I saved the settings and did a battery pull. I can now receive mms from myself but not from anyone else.Any ideas that I can try or do I need to go through a couple hours of customer service?

Jul 19, 2012I had this problem with my previous BB and thought the software crashed. Upon upgrading to a Bold 790 I still have this problem. I spoke to Tech support, they say everything is ok on their side. I took my phone back, the tech at the MTN shop checked, corrected my centre number.

Feb 18, 2010Ive had my 9700 since December...never had a problem until a week or so ago. I am suddenly not able to receive any type of MMS. My phone receives the message but when I open it all I see is a small red X near the top of the screen, and if theres text in the message, I also get a message "Text attachment missing or invalid" right below the red X. However, if I forward the message to myself, it works and I can then see the pic and/or text that was sent.I am on ATT, OS 5.0.0.405 (from the factory), and have an unlimited message/data plan.
I can SEND MMS just fine. Something I noticed is that when I go into my message folder, theres an icon of an envelope with a small arrow pointing to the right of the message (see pics below). Also, my friend said she tried to send me a couple of MMS pics last week, but after a few minutes, a red X showed up next to her sent messages instead of a check mark (which indicates message sent successfully). I never received those messages. I also had her try resending the pic several times, and even had her try to take and send new pics, and also had her try to send older pics that have been on her phone for a while to see if the pic she was sending me was somehow corrupt and if it was just new pics that had the problem or old pics. Pics I received fine months ago are not coming through now. Everyone else she sends the pics to gets them just fine. She is sending from a Curve 8310.Ive tried a battery pull, SIM card pull, have had service books resent, and have run a diagnostic test from options > mobile network > menu > diagnostics test > menu > run. It all seems fine.

Jul 4, 2012only realized 5 days a go that my BBM had stopped working. I'm able to send messages and my contacts recieve them, but they stay as 'D' on my screen, but when they send a message back I do not recieve it but it says 'D' on their screen.I don't think i have changed any setting or messed with anything.
