i involuntarily took a swim. Phone will not turn on. tried a different battery. I have critical data on the device. I need to recover it. I don't care if the circuits are fried. THERE HAS TO BE A WAY! If the CIA or FBI has got the technology, why can't i find someone who can get me what i want?
I bought my bold 9900 yesterday it have some problem with wifi connect..when turn off WIFI connected ---> my phone turn off..I try up Os ( Bell ins. ) for it but no have change Bold 9900 : vendor 331.
Updated a 9780 from 5.0 to 6.0 and now phone won't turn on. Red light comes on and keypad lights up but no screen.Did a search and checked the uploader file. There was not any files left to load. Removing and reinstalling battery does not help. Tried reloading 6.0 and still nothing.Desktop software recognizes phone and has all data from phone.
I got my BB about 2 days ago. It worked fine for about half a day after being fully charged, but whilst using it, the screen froze. The power button wasn't functioning at this point so i removed the battery.
Having put the battery back in, the phone now won't turn back on. The red LED is not on at all, the device isn't being recognised through USB, im pretty stuck. Is there anything I can do or should I return it to get a replacement?
So about a month ago i bought a new battery for my BB bold 9700 and it has been working fine up intill yesterday, it kept dieing and saying battery drain handheld shutting down. so whenever i plug it into the charger it wont work. i updated it to the latest software, and just now today i used it in school all day, "jus texting, brickbreaker, and music on thw way home---30min" and i went to call my mom and i was on the phone for about 1 min not even and then it completely shuts off, i pull the battery out, put it back in, and its at 4% battery.
I've a problem with my 9700 in the evening. Before I go to bed, I press down the red 'off' button on the right and the screen says, 'now shutting down' or whatever it says. So I take my finger off.In the morning when I wake, the phone has been on all night?!Am I doing something wrong? Are u suposed to keep ur finger down until the screen goes blank?
I have had my Bold 9900 for less than 3 months and in the last week I have experienced the following issue: The screen stays lit up constantly, which is making the battery run out very quickly. When I press the lock button the screen turns off for about 5 seconds, then lights up again, and stays lit. I can't see anything in the Options menu that will fix it. As I say, the problem has only been occurring in the last week.
I have a BB Bold 9000, and it was working fine, i even updated and it worked great for months.and then last week when i tried to turn on the wifi to search for a network the phone got frozen for a few seconds and restarted it self continuously, like 4 times in a row. since then Im unable to turn the wifi on. bluetooth and service provider are working fine. Just wifi is causing troubles.I even tried to restore it to default settings using the lastest BB desktop software and no results.
Yesterday, my Bold 9900 battery was completely drained so I put it on charge overnight. The LED light was flashing yellow. Now I can't get the phone to turn on at all. This has happened before but after removing the battery and putting it back in the phone turned on. I've tried pulling the battery today but nothing happens, just the LED light flashing red for a few seconds then going back off
the dial tones when typing a phone number on the normal profile of the blackberry is ridiculously loud. You cant keep your headset on or earpiece in without hurting or even damaging your ears. It is extremely annoying to have to take out your earpiece every time you dial someone. Setting the profile to vibrate or silent is no option of course because then you don't hear the phone ring. How do I set the dial tone to silent or much lower volume without reducing the phone ring volume on a BB Bold 9900?
My phone got some water on it and was working fine until it just randomly shut off and refuses to turn on now. I got it to start up to a grey/white screen and a battery with a charging symbol in the middle. If I can get back to the screen is there anything I can do for my phone?
I HAVE A BLACKBERRY PHONE THAT I BOUGHT RECENTLY,I REALIZED THAT WHEN I TURN IT ON IT STAYS ON FOR ABOUT A MINUTES THEN THE BACK LIGHT ON THE PHONE TURN OFF AND THEN THE PHONE DOES NOTHING MORE,ITS LIKE THE PHONE FREEZE UP,I REALIZED THAT I CAN STILL SEE THE MENU OPTION ON THE SCREEN EVEN THOUGHT THE BACKLIGHT IS TURNED OFF.I THOUGHT IT WAS A SOFTWARE ISSUE SO I REINSTALLED IT AND THE PROBLEM STILL OCCURS...IM NOT SURE IF ITS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE CIRCUIT BOARD ON THE PHONE.
So my phone s5 was updated to lollipop, I was just finished downloading 2 songs then i saw the screen turns yellowish. I thought it was nothing so i turn off my power after I tried to open up again it didn't. When I pressed the power key it shows a broken half white thing so fast and it disappear till now my phone won't open. I tried charge it but useless..
I bought my S6 about 3 weeks ago. I was using it normally, but then I left it and when I came back it wouldn't turn on unless I pressed the volume down key too. After that it kept turning off after 15-30 minutes I turned it on, everytime, and then it simply wouldn't turn on whatever i did, even if a pressed all 4 buttons for 10 seconds. Then I simply pressed the power button and it turned on. It behaved normally for that whole day.
I went to sleep with 45% battery and it died. Again it wouldn't turn on unmattering what i did, and after like 5 hours i pressed the volume down and power again and it turned on (after many tries), wtih 27% battery - and it was always off, but after like 2 minutes it died again, and only turned on, after many tries, when I presed vlm dwn, power and home together, giving me the restart screen with 7% charge. (not that dos/cmd-like, with hard reset and all, only a custom os and restart). it worked normally (draining battery fast), and then shut down again, even if i was charging it, though the whatsapp green led is flashing, so i think it's not completely off.
my phone other than recently the battery life has been pretty bad all of a sudden (I think it's my charger) , anyways I was outside taking a picture on my phone and as soon as it took the picture the screen went black and it was completely unresponsive, tried turning it on, reset, nothing worked. I took the battery out and back in and It turned on, BUT then my time and date was completely wrong and for some reason since the time and date was wrong it made my internet not work.
Yesterday, I went running with my Lumia 1020 listening to music and using the Runtastic app. The music stopped - I looked at the phone - it was turned off. I tried powering on, but to no avail. I should also mention that upon leaving, the battery was fully charged and this happened after some 20 minutes. When I came home, I immediately put the phone on the wall charger and expected it to power on after a while. I checked it after 3 hours and nothing, the phone was still stone-dead and what was even more worrying, completely cold - no heat-up from charging.
I tried connecting it to my PC - the computer didn't even recognize ANY device was connected to it. Just to be sure, I tried Nokia Software Recovery Tool, but sure enough, it was not able to detect the phone. The phone seems to be dead meat now, but when I put it on my desk wireless charging stand, the stand's indicator lights up, although the phone does nothing and stays that way.
I washed my iPhone 4s last week. I just got my replacement phone. I want to restore from iCloud (for my calendar) and iTunes (for everthing else like contacts, etc.) but when I try to do that it says I have to turn off "find my phone" from my old iPhone. My old phone's display is dead so I can't do anything on it. It still rings when I get a call but I can't answer it.
Info: MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2), Trackpad pointer
I have blackberry bold 9000 for 10 months, and it went well. Today, it froze and won't turn on. I tried to remove and re-place the battery, it didn't work, the red LED light didn't blink at all. I replace it with the fully charged battery, and it still won't turn on. I tried to plug it with wall charger, and it still blank, as if it dead. what should I do?
while my iphone in charging, suddenly turn off and start to turn on and turn off Automatically. After that i restore to ios 5.0.1 i see no wi-fi no besband and just work 5 minuts and will turn off.please help me.my iphone 3 Gs locked
I was using my phone and it got to 0% and it turned off. I plugged it in to a wall charger (HTC charger that came with phone). After checking on it 30 minutes later, I noticed there was no LED light on whatsoever that would indicate it was charging. When I press the power button on, it will go to the normal boot up but turn off after it says HTC (white and green screen).
When I hold the vol down and power, I get a battery symbol, grey on the inside with a plug picture and a circle around it, underneath it says 0% and turns off again.
I was just intializing the phone for the sync to the laptop. And well, the Blackberry software froze, and then the phone won't turn on. It won't turn on despite my touching any of the buttons or any recharging.
I just got this phone and only had it for one day. It was never dropped or taken outside or exposed to any moisture I do not see any reason why this is happening.
While charging the phone last night, it had reached a full charge and I heard the notification for so. I unplugged the phone and it was unresponsive to knock to wake, and the power buttons. I tried plugging the phone back in to charge, but it will not recognize it. I have tried holding down every button combination to turn on the phone, but it never even starts the boot animation. I have also tried removing the battery and plugging in the phone hoping to eliminate the battery from the equation to no avail.
I tried installing an Xposed module to turn the nav bar into the Android L one, and I had to add a line of text to the build.prop file. I accidentally deleted one or 2 digits from the end of the last line after deleting the line that I pasted, but I pressed no after exiting it to not save changes. I did a soft reboot, now my phone won't turn on and there's faint popping noises coming out of both speakers. What do I do?
My new Xperia Z5 is on a constant reboot loop if it's plugged in to a charger or my laptop. I've already tried everything. I've tried pushing the "off" button underneath the sim card slot (I tried both ways including the 120 second method). I've tried plugging it into my laptop to use Sony Bridge to repair. Nothing works. Â How do I perform a hard reset on the phone manually? I've tried to hold the power and VOL+ and this doens't work, it just keeps reboot looping. I see a red light and sometimes a blue light in the top left corner of the phone.. Â This just happened out of nowhere. The phone is 2 months new and I paid top dollar for it. I'm pissed off and have no phone.
I had put my phone to charge and when I came back to it 10 minutes later, it was off. I tried turning it back on but to no avail. The charging light will also not turn on. I cannot get into hboot or get my computer to recognize it.
came off an app last night and the screen went blank ever since then been unable to turn back on I have had the phone on charge but still nothing I have tried a reboot but still nothing
