BB Bold :: 9900 - Hear Ring But Not Caller / Message Bank
Mar 9, 2012My BB9900 is working fine receiving calls, texts, emails etc but I can't hear anything when someone calls, nor can I hear message bank. I've checked all the options and mute buttons and everything but cant work it out.

May 30, 2010So i've had my blackberry 8900 for a year now & it's very convenient for me to just press the clicking letters of a contact name and have it narrow down my contacts to the person i want. That way, i don't have to click on the contacts icon and start finding a name.I just took out the battery of my phone & put it in a couple minutes later because of some other issues, & now i can no longer do that anymore! I press buttons when i'm on the home screen and nothing happens; there isn't the convenient shortcut to finding/narrowing down a contact anymore.

Mar 24, 2010as you know within any screen on the phone when you press and hold the Blackberry button for less than 2 seconds it will bring up a "quick menu". Some icons are ALWAYS listed under this "quick menu" whether they are closed or not, such as BB messenger, Browser etc. Is there any way I can add or remove icons in this quick menu?

Feb 15, 2010Like the title suggest, every time i try to use the browser to go on a site i get this "unable to connect to the internet please try again" I dont have the BB data plan, but the internet always worked over wifi and yesterday it stopped working and i dont know why. I did a quick pull hoping that would fix the problem but it hasn't. Anyone can help me? Also the bolt browser works over wifi...

Jul 29, 2010After i update .330 to .714 my blackberry browser won't connect.... every time i use the browser i get this "this is a Wi-fi service. please ensure your device has an actice Wi-fi connection and try again..."
i do have data plan and the internet always worked before i update my BB to .714 after update it stopped working and i don't know why..? I did a quick pull hoping that would fix the problem but it hasn't. I also check my "Manage Connection" my Mobile network is "ON" Wi-Fi is "OFF"also the Bluetooth is "OFF" also try to "OFF" my "Mobile Network" and put it "ON" again but nothing same issue happens....
I try to go "Options>Advanced Options>Browser>Default Browser Config and make sure it is set to "Hotspot Browser" but nothing happens...
Anyone can help me?

Feb 26, 2010I can login to my mobile bank website, but when I try to get my balance I get nothing. My banks IT department said if I can access it via my PC using the same address and all comes up good, then I need to speak with my carrier. Knowing the tools I'll end up getting if I call Sprint, I figured someone here with a lot more intelligence than any CS might be able to point to the right direction. I'm sure it some security setting that I don't have right, just find it odd that I can get that far into the site with no issues.

Jul 31, 2010Bank of America made changes to their server and thats when we started to have trouble. I just got off the phone with Bank Of America customer support and got no help at all they said Bank Of America didn't have any one to troubleshoot the mobile website. I told them that a lot of BlackBerry users were having trouble getting onto the mobile site and the guy said sorry we can't help you unless you are on a computer. That is just sorry of bank of America not to offer support.
We need to contact some one higher in the company to get some help so if you know some one please contact them this is retarded. Here is the latest when I try to log on to bank of America regular site / for security reasons your device can't access mobile banking. Two weeks ago I didn't have any trouble getting onto the Mobile site this is crazy.

Sep 9, 2010I have a blackberry curve the 8500 series. And I use it for just about everything. The only problem I have is that I cant view my bank account on the browser. I am can get to the loggin screen and after I put my info in and press ok it goes to a white screen and says at the top "dual authentication".
The phone is not frozen it just wont load up my bank account. I know my bank account works on mobile devices because before I got my bb I had a phone that it worked on and my boyfriends phone lets me do it too. I know a bb can do just about everything so I am guessing there is a setting I have to change.

Sep 14, 2011I have 3 mail accounts connected to my bb. Originally all posted to one folder messages folder in the message 'center' where all the sms etc go into (middle of the screen icon at the top) i am not sure what has started to happen but suddenly i then had 2 messages folders and now i have 3. They all go to the same place and sometimes contain the same message which just appears in all 3.
I think this started when i started configuring the sync of the deletion of the folders "folder reconciliation". how i can delete these additional folders as they are just a nuicense they mean very little as mail is randomly flowing into them.
