Dec 13, 2012my BB Bold 9900 won't turn on. Loads to a white screen saying "AppError 200" i click to reset, then it just loads the same screen again, over and over. I've tried updating the software using the desktop manager but it says i have 0.0mb worth of space on my phone so i can;t update when i know for a fact that there is an absolute ton of space free.

Apr 4, 2010So i came off my phone 1am & everything was cool, during the night i noticed it seemed to be booting up as if it had been battery pulled. When i got up it was still doing this but the progress bar gets a quarter of the way then the screen goes blank & it starts again. It has now been about 8 hours & its STILL doing this. Jan 25, 2010since installing .411 my Bold hasn't had a single problem, apart from one. Every now and again, I will notice it light up, the screen and keyboard both turn on. After a couple of seconds, it will dim out as it would after use.
I have a windows mobile phone and before I receive a text message, that is exactly what that does, but I receive nothing when the Bold lights up? The only fix I have is to put it into bedside mode as it doesn't seem to happen when in that state....

Sep 24, 2012Dissappointed to find I can't disable the touch screen. I've had a Bold 9900 for just over a week now and it's starting to drive me crazy. On a call it went to loud speaker or hold phone function for whatever reason or call to somebody else at the same time or various other irritations. The worst thing is that I work in technical support and many people call me every day on Blackberry. So during the last week I deal with lots of unsatisfied and confused customers.Is there any possibility to turn off the touch screen in a call mode? Are there any other possibilities how to fix this problem?

He is a longtime BB user most recently upgrading from an earlier Bold 9700 before that the 8800 series as well as earlier models. He does not like the touch screen and it is driving him crazy. I cannot find anything about turning it off. How can you disable the touch screen on it? I have seen posts on other sites requesting this, but have seen no solutions, other than adjusting the sensitivity.

Jul 28, 2012had my phone for a while and it usually did the white screen thing where I used to have to take out the battery and insert again, but recently it was working fine then all of a sudden the screen went dim. Even on the highest brightness the screen can go it was still dim, sometimes it would brighten up again but it eventually got dimmer and then did the white screen thing and turned off. Now whenever I turn it on (re-insert the battery etc) I get a fixed red light, then a few seconds later this goes and the keyboard lights up. Then nothing.I've searched for any resolutions but so far found none, I've even tried leaving the battery out for a while and then putting it back in and updating the software but this hasn't been usefull

I still have not been able to turn it on, it is black with a blinking led light (which only shows when plugged in to either the wall charger or USB). Feb 15, 2012I have had my Bold 9900 for less than 3 months and in the last week I have experienced the following issue: The screen stays lit up constantly, which is making the battery run out very quickly. When I press the lock button the screen turns off for about 5 seconds, then lights up again, and stays lit. I can't see anything in the Options menu that will fix it. As I say, the problem has only been occurring in the last week.

Jul 23, 2010A few weeks ago, my Blackberry got an error 507 screen overnight and I had to wipe the device. I am currently using the latest release of 5.0 and last night my phone was working fine. When I woke up this morning, my screen had the "App error 205" message on it. That is two failures in one month now and I have to go to work in a few minutes so I won't even have time to wipe my device to at least have a working phone for the day. Jan 24, 2010I am having the same issue as covered in lots of threads before. when i try to turn my phone on (pluged in to the wall charger) it just shows the red led for about 10 seconds and switched to white screen with battery thunder bolt symbol in the middle for abotu 10 seconds and then it repeats over and over again. but my phone does something ive never seen talked abotu on here.
When my red led is on the phone is making this weird noise. kinda sounds like fan comin from the phone. and itll only make the noise on the second time around. any suggestion on the noise and what i can do???? i have gotten a new battery, tried the battery pull, and ive waited 2 days and tried again no luck.
