Jun 17, 2012I bought my bold 9900 yesterday it have some problem with wifi connect..when turn off WIFI connected ---> my phone turn off..I try up Os ( Bell ins. ) for it but no have change Bold 9900 : vendor 331.

Jan 4, 2010I have blackberry bold 9000 for 10 months, and it went well. Today, it froze and won't turn on. I tried to remove and re-place the battery, it didn't work, the red LED light didn't blink at all. I replace it with the fully charged battery, and it still won't turn on. I tried to plug it with wall charger, and it still blank, as if it dead. what should I do?

Oct 20, 2011I recently got my Blackberry bold 9000 a couple months agoand it suddently goes dead for some reason..When i try to turn it on, the red light goes on for 3 seconds and then it turns off again.When i put it in the computer via usb it goes *BLEEP* and says new hardware detected etc..i have no clue what to. When i try to connect it via the computer in Desktop Manager it cannot connect or says connection lost

Apr 24, 2012It's about 2 months that I have a Blackberry Bold 9900, and I am new to Blackberry overall.I am having trouble turning off the backlight. The light stays on all the time. When I lock my phone, the backlight will go off for 2 seconds and then it'll come back on. I tried playing with all the settings in the options Screen Display, and nothing seems to turn it off.

Oct 4, 2012For the second day in a row, I woke up to a completely dead phone that will not charge. The battery was completely charged before I went to sleep so I didn't leave it on the charger. When I found that it was dead I put it on the charger but it shows no signs of charging. The red light came on once when I first connected it and never again after that. I had to use a friends old blackberry battery to get it working the day before but now his battery is in the same condition.

Apr 28, 2012I turned my BB off about 20 hours ago. When I tried to turn it on just now, it would not turn on! I tried removing the battery for a few seconds, and when I put it back in the LED glowed red, but then it turned off, and the deivice still will not turn on.
Can anything be done, short of throwing it in the river? Having acquired a Galaxy Tablet, I'm thinking I need to ditch the BB for an Android-based phone.

Apr 27, 2011New to the Blackberry experience. I've owned this phone for about a month. I've been happy so far, but now my wi-fi radio internal phone software will not start. I have downloaded APS on this phone, it worked for the first month, but now, nothing. Nothing I do can make that wi-fi radio start up, so I cant even scan from my home wi-fi.... Or any hotspot. I have 3G network, and set up on wi-fi preferred.

Mar 29, 2012i cant turn on my 9780, had a black screen and basically was off..only red LED flashes. tried a few tips from this forum but it doesnt work..1. pulled off and reinserting the batt, 2. connect to pc but failed to detect the device,it says "windows unable to installed the driver"..then i tried to connect with desktop manager to update os, but error occurs when it try to connect with the device.3. then i decided to uninstalled bb desktop manager, after restart, i connect the usb again, the windows detected the hardware n successfully installed the driver..but i didnt reinstall the desktop manager yet. im afraid if i did a wrong step which might accidently loose all the media data..is it my os probs or i need to replace the batt?

Jul 3, 2012I used my phone in my break at work at about 4 o clock and then switched it off as phones have to be off in certain rooms where I work, when I came to switch it on at 7ish it wouldn't turn on at all. When I finally got home I plugged it in and it turned on and I checked the battery left and it had gone fully down to 0% battery life besides the fact when i was using it in my break it was on 40% minimum and it had been off after that. May 29, 2012the wifi on my 9780 won't turn on due to a glitch in the engineering screen (either "crash wilink" or "nvs update" tbh i dont remember which). ive restored it back to an older os and updated it again (3 times) but it still doesn't work. is there a way to FULLY re-write the os and possibly the boot rom? i dont wont any bs about how my blackberry is broken and cant be fixed. if that were so the bluetooth wouldnt work but it DOES work so don't even go there.

Feb 3, 2012How's it going everyone ? Here's all the info before I get started. My phone is from Mobilicity bought it outright, my service provider is Wind. I was coming home from work one day I was on the subway and i took out my phone and it was a white screen that said JVM Error 102. So I went online and saw people saying the best thing to do is just restart the phone fresh, so I connected to DM and did the whole reinstall thing and the phone was working fine again, for less than 24 hours. Checking my phone again, this time I see the white screen with JVM Error 545 or something like that on it. So as I'm trying to reinstall everything again, midway through it my computer dies while waiting on the Waiting for Device status for about half an hour.
So now the problem is that I can't even turn on my phone now! Now this phone is a 100% necessity for my business and the fact that I'm without it for almost 12 hours is unacceptable. But what REALLY gets me aggrivated is that I'm sick, with a fever at home, trying to fix my bold instead of getting better! The phone won't turn on and when I take out the battery and put it back in all I have signs of life is the red LED steady for about 6-8 seconds and then nothing.
I've tried ALL of the things below so if you have any other suggestions let me know how I can wipe the phone and reinstall the OS. Apploader - at first doesn't even detect that the phone is connected, have to do a battery pull and then re-insert for it to see it and then going next it just says fatal error.
JL_Commander and Desktop Manager both don't detect that my phone is even plugged in. For the first 5 or so seconds while the red LED is on it detects that a phone is plugged in and then nothing.
BBSAK - absolutely no detection of the phone whatsoever I have a MAC at home, have spent all of today running these applications at a friends house who has windows, still with a fever mind you, so I need a solution QUICK!

Apr 11, 2010I have a Blackberry Bold 9000. This morning I took the battery out without turning it off first of all (because it was running really slow).
Since then I have been unable to turn it on at all or to get anything from it!
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem? I have tried to plugged it in to the charger with and without the battery in as I read that might help, but nothing has worked so far.

Left the phone on the charger throughout the night, woke up, went to check my messages, and the phone was no longer turning on. I dont know what happened during the night.Went to Verizon: the guy gave me some bs about how the phone has had water damage (as evident by corrosion on the charger insert location). I have since been told that there is in fact no water damage (the item that is supposed to turn red when there is water damage is still white) and that the corrosion is merely the fact that I use the charger.
