Jul 6, 2011I have 5 buttons in my app and the button text is giving by me only. I need to set the background image foe each button? How is it possible?

Nov 7, 2012I hope this hasn't already been asked. I have a limited amount of data on my plan, therefore do not want my apps to be using data all the time. For example, I do not want facebook to check for notifications every 30 seconds, but I would like to be able to manually click on the facebook app and check my notifications. I am finding it rather annoying to have to turn my data off all the time, then turn it on when I want to use an app.Other phones I have had gave me the option to "disable background data", can I do this on the BB Bold 9900?

Jun 24, 2014I have noticed an issue with the Galaxy S5 that apparently only occurs with the Verizon variant. I work for a place called Wireless Advocates, we are the cell phone kiosk inside of Costco. I'm asking about this because I've had three customers come in to ask about this background data issue.
I'm not sure what triggers this issue but when I try opening up google play I get the "Background Data Disabled : Google Play Store Needs background data to be Enabled" error. It then gives you the ability to either quit or enable the data. If you press enable it takes you to the account screen in settings.
When I go to Data usage the option to "restrict background data" is greyed out. You can't even select it and it isn't checkmarked either. Just to clarify, accessing the internet and other things on the phone work perfectly fine. It's just the use of Google Play that is having issues. I called Samsung customer care and they aren't aware of this issue at all. Also note that force stopping google play, play services, removing the google accounts and adding them back and rebooting the phone haven't solved it. After the reboot the phone will appear fine and then a box that says "Restricting background data".

Jun 3, 2011Is there a free or cheap App that enables me to assign a wallpaper from my album, to the background of BBM? I know WhatsApp on the Apple devices does, so wondered if it can on BBM. I did find one app that meant you could assign three themes, but then it cost to change that to your own.

The background display is still the picture and I was wondering was it possible to recover that photo. Jun 18, 2010You know how when you open an application, and just press the hangup / power key, it exits the application from the screen but it still keeps running in the background memory. I have noticed that such applications in the memory can drain the battery real quick. I was wondering if anyway on the phone you can check which applications are currently running in the background memory? If i can find that out, I can just exit all the apps and save my battery life. Let me know if anyone knows a way to do so.

Apr 24, 2012I have a bold 3 (9780), while browsing the internet my phone froze for a bit. I than managed to switch on and off. When it restarted I couldn't access applications on the menu. I than switched off again, when I restarted, the screen background appeared white, with a message saying app error 606 and with a small reset link below. I have clicked the reset many times but to no use. I even took out the battery a few times, but nothing has worked.

I think they went missing when I removed a theme. The theme went away but didn't put these back how they originally were. I had to get rid of the theme as it changed all the icons & being new to the phone, am still learning what the icons mean so when the theme changed them, it added to my confusion?

It is a pain to try and keep track of sent / received emails and then print to pdf from a computer later on. I need to archive outgoing and incoming emails as digital images with dates -- "c_06_03_2010_a.pdf" would be the first email I generated today to the client.
