A couple of days ago took some pictures and when i now go to look at them all i see is an icon with a lil landscape image and a timer counter on it. now every picture taken looks like this. its the same with images in text or on bbm. deleted loads to make space and this work. worried i be able to take any pics. and suggestions on how i could get them back?

I have about 5 icons with a ? on it. How would I get them to display the icon as a picture/ico? I can't tell what the icon is for without clicking on it & opening each one up. In doing so, I can tell you the missing ones seem to be:
explore music apps
explore rintone apps
explore video apps
Voice Notes Recorder
I think they went missing when I removed a theme. The theme went away but didn't put these back how they originally were. I had to get rid of the theme as it changed all the icons & being new to the phone, am still learning what the icons mean so when the theme changed them, it added to my confusion?
Probably a dumb question, but is there anyway to NOT make the VGA display a mirrored image with still pics? Seems kind of annoying unless this is common with VGA cameras.

It always says the following:

I copied from my old phone to the PC, and then to my X8, some pictures from my contacts. They are under the DCIM folder in the SD card.When I edit a contact and choose to add a picture, I can't add those pictures. The following things happen:
If I choose to use the internal Album application to browse and select the pictures, it shows all the photos I took with the phone's camera, plus several others that I don't know where they came from. It doesn't show the pictures I just copied from the PC to the SD card. But the ones that are visible can be selected and used.If I choose to use a file browser (such as OI File Manager) to browse and select the pictures, I can browse to the SD card, under folder DCIM, and see all the pictures, but that I took with the phone and the ones I copied over from the PC. But once I select a picture it just does't go to the contact. The contact editor still show's the default picture of a silhouette, and won't use the picture I selected. So,
how can I add pictures that I moved from my PC to the SD card as contact pictures?Where are the pictures stored in internal memory? Where are all those fancy silhouettes kept?
I recently just started having an issue trying to import photos and videos from my iPhone 5s to my 2009 macbook pro. (version 10.6.8). It will connect to my phone, but it will say there are 0 photos to import. I've check and I am updated on both, and I've followed the other steps listed at iOS: Unable to import photos to computer. Â
Note: I actually think this started after updating my iphone to the latest software.

I seem to be losing about 10-15% of the right hand side and rather less on the bottom of the image. Am I correct in assuming that the wallpaper should fill the entire screen to the above resolution?

All I have is a phone icon that is for Visual Voice Mail, which I am not signed up for and don't want to be. When I click the VVM icon it says do you want to sign up and I hit No and it just kicks me back to the main screen. How can I get rid of the Visual VM icon and get the Call log icon?

It is more evident in pictures where peoples heads are near the top. Essentially their heads look bulbous like aliens.This has happened at different distances from a couple feet to about 10 feet, with no movement from the subject. With and without flash. All settings are on auto. I've used both the windows phone camera app and Nokia camera app. I wanted to know if perhaps I'm doing something wrong or if the phone is defective.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen taking pictures in darker scenes that the flash ruins the picture by making it look more red than it should be ? I get this orange glow in all the pictures, with no flash it looks better and whites look more white without the orange tint. A wall that should be pitch white looks more dull and orange for example with flash, same goes for skin color. It feels like the flash is shooting amber out or something.

My main question at this point is the ability to automatically sync pictures to my desktop. My last phone was a Motorola Razr Maxx which automatically downloaded all photos I took to my desktop as soon as it connected to my wifi. Is there an option similar with the WP8? I have Google Drive and just set up One Drive but I would rather have it hit my wifi to copy files down locally. I know I can do it manually but I like not having to worry about it.
I am a frequent concert goer (usually 5+ a month) and since I got my Icon a few months ago I find myself having to screenshot my videos rather than use the pictures I took during the show. Don't get me wrong, the Icon does take the best videos I've seen on a phone and the sound is perfect. But my pictures always seem to end up blurry rather even when I am holding still. I use the Nokia Procam app and tried the stock app but even changing the settings and modes doesn't work....

When I get a new SMS, it is the same as a new e-mail icon. However, this is not supposed to be so... SMS's are supposed to be a slanted envelop. I never had this problem with my old curve 8320. I've also had this icon issue since I got my phone several months ago. The icons remain the same no matter which OS version I use. I am on T-mobile.
