Is there a free or cheap App that enables me to assign a wallpaper from my album, to the background of BBM? I know WhatsApp on the Apple devices does, so wondered if it can on BBM. I did find one app that meant you could assign three themes, but then it cost to change that to your own.
View 9 RepliesI brought a Xperia Z2 yesterday and when I went to put a background on It zoomed into my picture and I couldn't zoom out it also asked me to crop the picture when I did it look stupid, and when you scroll across the picture moves with the scroll, is there anyway I can have a static background so it doesn't move when I swipe between screens?
I remember my s5 had a option to do this and so did my S4 but can't find it on the menu on the sony to turn off wallpaper scrolling.
is there any way to have a fixed wallpaper as the background rather than it moving across when you scroll left or right? I want to see the whole pic on one screen. I thought I saw a setting for it but cant find it now!

With other BB's, I was able to assign a different ringtone to each of my contacts. I cannot figure out how to do that with the 9650 I just received from work.
Basically, I want one ringtone for all calls except for the contacts where I have assigned a different ringtone for them.

Is there a way to assign a specific ringtone to 25 out of 100 of my contacts without doing it manually one by one? Is there a quick way to assign them to a group and just assign that group the ringtone?
Is there a way to do it on Outlook so I can do it easier than on my little BB? I assigned about 100 pictures to contacts on Outlook and since the 2 sync, all the pictures showed up with the right contacts. This saved me soooooo much time...I was wondering if there was a way to do similar with ringtones
I recently replaced my iPhone 3GS with a new iPhone 4S. The album art is fine when viewed via my iMac in iTunes, but when I sync an album to my phone, it gives it a random album cover from my library instead of the correct one. I go to iTunes and manually re-upload the album art but when I sync again it's still incorrect.

For example, I do not want facebook to check for notifications every 30 seconds, but I would like to be able to manually click on the facebook app and check my notifications. View 2 Replies View RelatedI have noticed an issue with the Galaxy S5 that apparently only occurs with the Verizon variant. I work for a place called Wireless Advocates, we are the cell phone kiosk inside of Costco. I'm asking about this because I've had three customers come in to ask about this background data issue.
I'm not sure what triggers this issue but when I try opening up google play I get the "Background Data Disabled : Google Play Store Needs background data to be Enabled" error. It then gives you the ability to either quit or enable the data. If you press enable it takes you to the account screen in settings.
When I go to Data usage the option to "restrict background data" is greyed out. You can't even select it and it isn't checkmarked either. Just to clarify, accessing the internet and other things on the phone work perfectly fine. It's just the use of Google Play that is having issues. I called Samsung customer care and they aren't aware of this issue at all. Also note that force stopping google play, play services, removing the google accounts and adding them back and rebooting the phone haven't solved it. After the reboot the phone will appear fine and then a box that says "Restricting background data".
I used one of my saved photos from the camera as my display picture however I deleted the picture file from my media. The background display is still the picture and I was wondering was it possible to recover that photo. Is the picture file still on the phone and being used to display the background or has it been deleted and cannot be retraced?
View 3 Replies View RelatedYou know how when you open an application, and just press the hangup / power key, it exits the application from the screen but it still keeps running in the background memory. I have noticed that such applications in the memory can drain the battery real quick. I was wondering if anyway on the phone you can check which applications are currently running in the background memory? If i can find that out, I can just exit all the apps and save my battery life. Let me know if anyone knows a way to do so.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm able to create as many albums as I want under the main camera roll. from what I can see, I can add photos from my camera roll to an album but the two images are connected. so what happens is when I try to create albums according to event or subject, if I wanted to delete the original from the camera roll, it also deletes the copied image. What gives? Is there a way to have multiple albums on iphone where images won't be deleted?

When it restarted I couldn't access applications on the menu. I than switched off again, when I restarted, the screen background appeared white, with a message saying app error 606 and with a small reset link below. I have clicked the reset many times but to no use. I even took out the battery a few times, but nothing has worked.

I seem to be losing about 10-15% of the right hand side and rather less on the bottom of the image. Am I correct in assuming that the wallpaper should fill the entire screen to the above resolution?

After some days I deleted the folder, but it keeps coming back...I deleted it from the card, deleted it using the computer, but somehow it is still there, other music folders are easy to deleta and never shows up.
