IPhone :: Incorrect Album Art On 3gs Even When I Try To Manually Correct The Album Art In ITunes
May 8, 2012
I recently replaced my iPhone 3GS with a new iPhone 4S. The album art is fine when viewed via my iMac in iTunes, but when I sync an album to my phone, it gives it a random album cover from my library instead of the correct one. I go to iTunes and manually re-upload the album art but when I sync again it's still incorrect.
I've tried using Motocast to play my music but it seems to ignore the track number at the start of a file name and just plays the tracks in alphabetical order not the order they are on the album.
How can I get Motocast to play the tracks on an album in the correct order?
there is no way to only sort by "album name", just a combination of "artist and album name" is accessible under options in the menu. This gives me problem since I have a lot of compilations with various artist names.I remember that it was some similar problems with 5800 XM, but fixed via an s/w release a long time ago...
I'm able to create as many albums as I want under the main camera roll. from what I can see, I can add photos from my camera roll to an album but the two images are connected. so what happens is when I try to create albums according to event or subject, if I wanted to delete the original from the camera roll, it also deletes the copied image. What gives? Is there a way to have multiple albums on iphone where images won't be deleted?
I woke up this morning to find that my iphone had sent a imessenge to a ramdon number at 3:50 am, the message sent out said 'test' and then that number sent a reponse saying 'reply'. I texted the number asking who it was and they replied with a '?', they then sent another message from my phone saying 'test 4'.
The number my phone is sending to is - 07967446557
Is this Apple testing or has my phone been hacked ?
I created a photo album and synced it to my iphone. My computer had an issue and had to be completely restored. I lost all of my previous stuff. That album no longer exists on my itunes and I cant delete it directly off of my phone OR my restored computer because it no longer exists on my itunes. I would really like to delete this album off of my phone!
I like to view my music in the 'Album' view, but when I click on my iPhone in iTunes, I can only see the List view of all the songs- and I would rather view it in Album view. Is there anyway to do this? Perhaps a terminal command?
when trying to purchase an album from itunes on my iphone 4s it asks me to log in which works but then asks me to choose 3 questions as security when i try to select the 3rd question it just stays blue and will NOT allow me to select anything?
When I try to sync my iphone 4 to itunes 10, it syncs everything, gets to the very last step (finishing sync) and then I get an error message that it wasnt able to sync. The only thing i did was add a bunch of album art to itunes. any ideas?
I have bought loads of music off itunes before and loaded to my iphone. I recently bought an album that for love nor money will not load to my iphone although is clearly visible in my itunes account. I have tried removing it and resyncing it, reloading it, syncing and then reloading the whole phone but still to no avail. Any ideas what I might be missing!?
I have the camera roll, but is there a way to add new albums and move photos into the new album? I feel like there must be a way, but I am embarrassed to say I have not found it yet.
Lately (since the last update) I've noticed album art is mixed up. I'll be playing music and look and see album art from a ringtone or something instead of the correct art. This doesn't seem to be a problem on my computer, just the phone. Is there a way to force the phone to correct the art besides removing all my music and putting it back on? That's what I had to do to fix the first album. I forced an update of album art in iTunes but I'm still seeing problems on the phone.
This is a new issue that just started yesterday, i think this i show it started. I turned on itunes and it would not connect to itunes. I had to turn off my computer for th enight and tried again today. Itunes came on , no problem. however during today, i notived that most if not all of th ealbum artwork had disappeared. i thought no worries, i will just sync my iphone when i get home. However, I synced it three x's adn deleted all the music and reloaded it, then changed the settings on my iphone from manually mange my music to auto sync, .... still the album artwork wont show up.
I recently added a new album to my 'iPhone' playlist in iTunes which I sync with my iPhone.
However, when I went to my phone, and searched under artist, the album was not there! The two other albums I have by that artist are there but not the new one.
What's weirder is that it DOES appear on my iPhone if I search for it under the album tab. But it does not come up when looking under the artist tab (just the other two albums that I have by that artist).
All my albums on iTunes, they DO have the album cover, but mi iPhone 4 it's not showin' any picture, i'm really ******!!!, i have done everything & i can't fix it!
I accidentally sync the picture I don't want from iTune to my iPhone, than I try to delete in my iPhone, but there are no any delete or trash icon appear in the picture and album?
After installing the latest iOS 5.1.1 in my iPhone 4S all the album cover art is mixed up when I add new albums. It seems to pick any random album cover, rather than syncing the correct one from iTunes. How do I fix this, or is this a bug in 5.1.1 ?
