BB Bold :: Assign Part Of Inserted Flash Drive For Storing Larger Email Messages?
Dec 20, 2011
I am looking for a way to assign part of my inserted flash drive for storing larger email messages and video files sent to me via text message attachments. I have an 8 Gb card in the phone and would like to allocate part of that for email or mmx storage.
I do not own a Blackberry myself but I need some advice for many of my clients who owns one.
I provide a Website Hosting & Email service for our clients.
Some of our clients read and reply to their email that we host using their blackberries; the problem that we now have is that the blackberry stores the replies on our mail servers and not on the blackberry device itself. I own an iPhone 4 and I have an option to either store my email replies on the mail server or on the iPhone itself.
If I store the messages I sent on the iPhone, I can later synchronize all my replies with my Outlook on either my laptop or my desktop computer using iTunes.
What I need to know, does the Blackberry have a similar feature or setting to do this?
1) When I delete email messages using my pc (aol) they remain on my iPhone (also aol) and the same is true in reverse. How can I delete from both simultaneously?
2) Where/how on my iphone can I store various passwords.
how to change how long a BB 9900 stores text messages for? i recently got a BB9900 and realized that my messages get deleted automatically after a period of time?
After I set the phone to save messages on memory card, every time I connect it to PC in data storage mode, or take the memory card out and then put it back in, when I open messaging application, I get a message saying that memory card could not be found or something like that and that messages will be stored in phone memory. Is that normal or is my phone malfunctioning?
Haven't trouble here my HTC one m7 won't recognize any flash drive I try use for back up. I seen videos where all they did is plug it in with a micro to usb adapter and it works.
I have a Neo V phone with locked bootloader and unrooted.with official gb 2.3. how i can connect flash drives or storage drives to my cell. I have a otg cable and i can able to connect keyboard mouse etc.but not pendrives card readers.
I am looking to do some traveling and would prefer to leave the laptop at home. I have a flash drive that needs to be used during that time but is locked and the information cannot be extracted or removed. It can only be accessed using the flash drive. Is there any way to make this work with XOOM?
I've purchased my Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F) a month earlier. It has updated to Lollipop 5.1.1 15 days before. Yesterday, I bought a OTG cable but it can't read 64GB flash drive. However, it can read all 2 of my 32GB flash drives.
Why: 1. it is not reading 64GB flash drive? 2. what to do to read 64GB, 128GB or more storage via OTG cable?
I can listen to music and watch videos on my Xoom2 via Wi-Fi from my computer but when I try the same music or videos from a USB Flash Drive, I can see all the files but when I try to play any of them the Xoom2 goes to "Settings".
i thought i was crazy at first and it was just my imagination when i saw it flash up when receiving a text message/notification/ phone call and the camera flash lighted up. then today i had my phone on silent and received a phone call and just watched it light up and flash until i finally picked up. i've went through a bunch of the settings but i cant find one to turn this off.
I have one user who is having an issue with replying to emails. When he replies, his own email address is automatically inserted into the To: field. The user doesn't want to send himself a message each time while replying. Is there a setting that the user may heve enabled,
I find the profile icon difficult to read and I like to ensure it is on silent but cannot do so easily. My Curve had a larger icon and said silent when you hovered over it.
How about in addition to being able to assign specific ringtones to contacts -- to even assign a ringtone for a text message from a particular contact?
I receive lots of email from friends and family that contain pictures that have been inserted between lines of text. They show up fine in outlook and webmail, but on the Xoom they show up with tiny placeholders (boxes with green question marksressing on "show pictures" does not help. Emails with regular attacements can be viewed by clicking on attachements, and advertising pics are shown after clicking "show pictures" Only embedded or inserted pictures are not displayedI have seen posts about this on the android forum, but could not find any answers.Hopefully there is a solution, especially since the Xoom has the latest
I recently bought a C3 unlocked--I'm loving the build quality, and the phone mostly meets my expectations. However, there's one problem I haven't been able to wrap my head around: how do I assign non-stock-OS apps to the email shortcut button (the physical button above end call)?
I got my L950XL . I'm using this phone ONLY with futures it comes with: phone, email, calendar, web browsing not often, sms messaging. No social networks, no movies, no games. But I keep my attention to this phone, because I like how it works, when it worked. Now, after more than month, few updates and fixes, I would like to ask few questions:
1) Is it possible to assign different alerts to different email accounts? 2) Is phone still crashing during phone calls thru Bluetooth? 3) How stable camera now? 4) Is it possible to "read sms messages aloud" thru Bluetooth without Cortana enabled, like it was in previous versions of WMP? 5) Is it possible to configure "Quiet Hours" without Cortana? 6) Does Cortana work thru Bluetooth speakers and microphone? 7) Is it still a "Room heater" during charging process? 8) Is battery drained in couple hours, if Cortana with all subservices( location, microphone, etc) enabled, but person in the subway and no GPS access?
I used to have Alert Matrix for my BB and it allowed me to assign specific alerts to email contacts that I had. I could turn it on and off so if I was waiting for an important email it would alert me but things like spam or unimportant mail were silent. It was almost like my phone was a pager because the alert would continue to sound until I acknowledged it. Is this possible on an iphone?
