I have a blackberry bold 9780, it turns on, shows that it is locked but I can't use any of the buttons to unlock it, the scroll key doesn't do anything either, I've tried taking the battery out and it just starts up again and the same thing happens. I have tried the hard reset method and nothing happens. Any know how i can reset it or wipe it completely or anything?

View 1 Replies View RelatedRunning Bold 9000 w/ OS 5.0.0.681 on AT&T. First reformat both device memory and media card. Then issue a soft reset. Instead of standard reset, it performs a "Fast Reset". Upon viewing Device Memory, it states:
"Device Memory cannot be read."
4 GB media card is fine, without errors. In order to restore, it requires a repair. Upon issuing repair, it returns as successful (able to read & write to the 859.2 MB of total space).Does not occur with 4.6.0.304, appears to be a bug in 5.0.0.681.
I updated my blackberry software overnight on my device (curve 9330) and when I woke up in the morning there was a constant white screen with a little diagram and 561 error message underneath. I followed the instructions to update the device software on my desktop and had the latest version (6.1.0.35).The device does not connect to the PC at all and a battery reset on the device did not help.It is frozen with the white 561 error message screen.

When I try a soft reset, I get the red indicator light as usual, but instead of resetting, I get a message on my screen that says something along the lines of "Media card installed. All media will be copied onto the device." After this dialog box goes away, the device does NOT reset. Any ideas on why the soft reset no longer works?

Got the Torch, paid for the BIS with my carrier... and now I can't register at the BIS site (mts.blackberry.com). My carrier says that apparently someone has already used my IMEI and PIN on that site, and they can't help me with that. They suggested I write to Blackberry support and request them to change my device PIN.

This makes that some applications (like facebook or twitter) don´t start automatically because I need to enter again my credentials. I there any way that my device doesn´t erase the service books every time that I reset it? I tried restoring the service books from the desktop manager and setting the SB Legacy Mode without success.I´m using the OS 5.0.0.1015.

My N97 is updated to the latest. I go to MENU-->>APPLICATIONS-->>SW UPDATE, it scans for updates and shows 'ALL APPLICATIONS ARE UPTODATE'. View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently have been having some weird problems with my HTC One M7. My battery has been draining a heck of a lot faster than it used to. It has also been lagging quite a bit. Sometimes extremely.
For example. One day it drained 40% in one hour. As I am typing this, it has drained 6% in like 3 mins. That's insane.
For an example of lag, it has been registering short presses as long ones, or taking a long time to pop up the lock screen, or open the app drawer. Some times a few seconds.
I recently installed the newest sense update, and installed tasker from aptoide, but then deleted it.
When I tried to factory reset it, it does nothing. Same for removing device admins. ( I was trying to uninstall ac display).

View 2 Replies View RelatedDesktop mgr 5.0.1.37.When I connect (via USB) the connection appears to be recognised - clock appears on BB and PC beeps. After a few minutes PC & BB icons appear on BB screen but no interconnecting arrows. When I try to sync there is no device and PIN number showing on Device Mgr so it doesn't sync. Then the Desktop Mgr greys out and appears to freeze - I then have to disconnect the BB to unfreeze.
Device manager shows two RIM virtual serial ports v2 Com 3 & Com 4. If I try to update the drivers it says most up to date are loaded although the drivers are dated 24 Nov 2008 and are version 2.2.0.3 and appear to be called RimSerial_AMD64.sys (I'm using Intel i7 processor).
Devices & Printers screen shows a RIM Composite Device icon.
Windows in Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
I have tried to down load an app from bb appeared and this message appears on bold 9780 "The Item is not available for your Device Model, Device OS, Carrier and Country combination"
