On my Bold, I'm trying to delete my unwanted gmail messages, but it puts a big yellow star next to the message, says (0 items) and stays on the phone. I want to remove them from the phone. Also, seems like I can't reply to the messages, they stay on the phone with a clock and I'm in a good signal area.

I just got a Samsung S6 Edge. When I receive an email via gmail, I swipe down to see who it is from, if it is garbage I hit the "delete" shortcut (without opening the actual email or gmail app). I cannot get the message to delete. On my S4 I hit "delete" and the message turns in to a bar that says "deleting" and then disappears. With the edge, the "deleting" bar pops up, says it has been delete and the message and message notification do absolutely nothing. It is driving me up the wall.

I'm a recent returnee to the Blackberry world, and I use a Gmail address as my primary address. I've noticed something, and this issue has been discussed in other posts, but not rectified to my satisfaction. If I delete an email on my BB, it does not delete on my Gmail account on a desktop or laptop. This can be incredibly frustrating. I tried using the Gmail mobile BB app, but it doesn't display HTML email, and my BB is used mostly for personal not for business. Maintaining an orderly email account is proving extremely difficult. I've had the DELETE ON: MAILBOX AND HANDHELD set both ways, and i've had the sync option on the MANAGE EMAIL ACCOUNTS submenu checked and unchecked, and it doesn't work any way i can set it.
It's a BB Bold 9700 on T-Mobile in the US.
I recently upgraded from the D1 to the D4 and have my Hotmail account set up via Corporate Sync. Incoming messages sync correctly but messages I delete on the phone do not delete from the server. On the D1 the two-way sync worked correctly for emails deleted on the phone but I can't seem to get it to work on the D4.My settings for the corporate sync account are:Username: full @hotmail email addressPassword: passwordServer: m.hotmail.comUse secure connection: yesProxy: blankAnyone else having this problem? I have just read 5 emails on Google web page and they are still appearing as unread it on my Blackberry. My wife has the iPhone, and it immediately marked messages as read it as well. I use Facebook for Blackberry.So here's my problem - a few days ago I checked my Blackberry Bold 9700 and saw that I had received 28 email messages and 8 Facebook notifications.However none of these emails or Facebook notifications was new. They were all ones I had already received that day.
I deleted them all, and guess what - an hour later and they all came back into my email inbox and Facebook notifications.When I went to sleep that night, I woke up with 136 emails and 26 Facebook notifications - ALL OF THEM THE SAME REPEAT EMAILS OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
I have been on forums and tried removing my battery and SIM card (not very technical, that) as well as resending the Service Books after doing this. Nothing has solved this problem though.I really hope someone can help please as I'm seriously thinking of ditching my BlackBerry and buying an iPhone where this problem doesn't occur.

I have a bold 9000 v.6.0.282. I am with Rogers. This may seem like a simple thing but it is driving me crazy. I cannot figure it out. I simply cannot delete 2 SMS messages from my Blackberry Bold. What did I press or not press? I have deleted them from saved messages etc. but they will delete from the inbox. Also, incoming SMS messages appear at the bottom of the screen under the date of the un-delete-able messages, and those un-delete-able messages appear under today's date.

My main objective here is wireless contacts sync. I have read a lot of negative feedback regarding Gmail on a BlackBerry but I will not really even be using this for email all to often, although I will from time to time.
What I have done is just added my new Gmail account through the native BlackBerry email setup and then downloaded Google Sync. I downloaded the Gmail app but I didn't really like the UI and I like to have all 3 of my email accounts go into the same folder.

I'm using nokia 5800 model. In that two messages got failed while sending and stored in Outbox. I tried to delete those two messages. But the status of those two msgs has been changed to 'Deferred' and are not getting deleted. I restarted the mobile, but again its there in the Outbox. I tried PC Suite to delete those messages. But those messages are not getting listed in the PC Suite. Kindly Suggest some solution for this problem
